I was a little skeptical at first in regards to hiring someone else to completely re-vamp my resume. I have been in leadership positions my entire life and I liked the fact that they there was a form to fill out way before anything was started in order to get to know me and then had the first draft completed when she said it would be completed. I took a few days to go over it, we changed one of the jobs and she re-wrote it and sent it back-again, she did it and emailed it to me when she said she would! Once the resume, cover letter, follow up letter and thank you letter was finalized she started in on my LinkedIn account. Again, she gave me a date when she would get it to me and it was there. She even sent instructions as far as how to make the changes. It was definitely worth the extra for work on my LinkedIn account! Would highly recommend them and they will be doing my son's and daughter's resumes as well!!

Great! Work was done really well but main reason to go with Danielle is her communication skills. After losing a job, the last thing you need is a hassle over a vital service like resume writing. I paid for the Rush service--48hr-turnaround on resume--and she delivered on time with notes for any revisions I might want to add. She responded to emails promptly and helped me work through any questions. We did a few exchanges of emails and it worked out great, which was followed by LI profile update and tailored cover letters. Highly recommended her!

I would recommended Elle, especially if you have a specific job position that you want to apply for! Although I am not in the job market, I feel more confident for when I am again based off of recommendations from Elle. Extremely well! Danielle Holmes did such a fantastic job writing my Resume and Cover Letter, that asked her to rewrite my LinkedIn Profile. In addition, she included a Thank You and a Follow Up Letter. The questionnaire that Danielle provided was thorough and from this information she wrote documents that I could have never written in a million years! The changes that I made were very minimal. What I appreciated most was that Danielle was patient with the time that it took for me to provide feedback and she always stuck to her word on when the documents would be updated. I had not used a resume writing service before and chose Career Services by Elle based on reviews here on Angies List. My resume hasn't been updated in about 7 years and that was by my own efforts back then. I chose the cover letter/resume option, filled out the questionnaire and sent it back with my own version of the resume. I received the first drafts back in 6 days and when I opened them I was like "woah". MUCH better than the version I had put together. I only had a couple of minor revisions to make and Danielle got those versions back to me in a couple days. The way the things are worded and put together is very professional looking. I am quite happy with the results and recommend letting Danielle help you with your career documents. At this time I can't comment on job search results as I am currently employed and will be applying in the near future after I finish some current projects, but I wanted to get this process completed beforehand so that I'm ready to go. I have no doubt I should get some interviews from this! I am much more confident in applying with what Danielle provided me!

Excellent work! After failing to get interviews I was desperate. I contacted Elle. She Finished the job quickly and worked WITH me to create the perfect resume. I filled out her questionnaire and from that she created a first draft. We emailed back and forth until it was exactly what I wanted. Very responsive and very professional. I got 3 interviews within a week and landed a job! I would definitely recommend her and will use her again in the future!
