He is excellent. I got ripped off by two other roofers. It was expensive, but he was so immaculate. I recommended him to 3-4 other people, and they call me up and thank me. He uses me as a recommendation and people call me. It wasn't one nail and one shingle, he came out with a crew, and the crew came out at 6 0'clock for maybe 6 hours. The roof will outlive me, I am 65. He was very, very clean and very neat. He was there when he said he was going to be here.

It was fine. They were some delays due to weather and the company.

First phone call placed on 8/11/2011 in the afternoon. Second phone call placed on 8/14/2011. Left a message on answering machine on both occasions. Phone call was returned 8/14/2001 late evening. Spoke with Mr. Healey, told me that he would try to do the estimate on 8/15/2001 depending on the weather. He said he would call us if he was coming or if he was not able to make it. As of 8/21/2011 we still do not have an estimate nor have we received a phone call to inform us that he does or does not want to do the job. If this contractor was too busy or did not want to do the job then it would have been helpful to know that from the beginning so we could continue looking for a roofer. Our first indication of the contractors professionalism should have been the phone calls that were not returned. Very disappointed that after actually speaking with Mr. Healey that he did not feel that it was important to at least call back and inform us that he did not or could not do the job.

From the time of arrival to the completion of the work, this company created a very pleasant experience.

Overall experience with contractor was excellent. All my specifications (materials, start date, end date, repairs) for the job were met by Mr. Healy. He and his employees are true professionals.

After giving me a full and step by step estimate and pictures of my roof so that I would understand the condition of my roof and what needed to be done, I was sure Gordon Healy Roofing was the right contractor. Gordon and his crew arrived right on time. The crew got to work and I watched my home transform into something looking much better than I thought. Looks are not everyhting, quality of material and how it is installed was important. Gordon and his crew had it and did it all. I feel confident in the work that his company did. Neighbors have driven by and made great comments about the roof and have asked who did the work, I am glad to give out his name and number. The work and the home is something to be proud of. His crew worked non-stop and the job was completed in one day! Awsome! From start to finish they did a great job, inculding the clean up. I do not like cleaning up after contractors. I thank Gordon and his crew for the great work

We had noticed a leak in the roof of our log house, which is a second home. Unable to find the source, knowing that the roof was already over 30 years old and wanting to change the look of the house anyway, we decided to find a reputable roofer and get an estimate. Gordon Healey was highly recommended and we called him. He came over just when he said he would, which is important because we don't live there full time. He gave us two estimates - one to repair where the leak was and one to replace the roof. We chose to replace. We discussed color and he gave us a full packet of information, including other addresses in the area where he had replaced rooves and he specifically pointed out rooves that were the color we wanted. And since different companies make roofing shingles that look different, he made sure to point out which roof was made by which company so we could choose the ones we like the best. This made it much easier than looking at a small sample board, which he also carried in his van. Whenever we called Gordon, he responded immediately. He was always polite and almost too appreciative, if there's such a thing! When we decided what we wanted, he got the permits, sent us a certificate of insurance, we sent him a 50% deposit and he got to work! He acquired the trash bin, and with his large crew, covered the place in tarps removed the old roof, put down the new. This includes: replacing damaged plywood; new drip edge around the roof; 6 ft of ice and water shield along the edges of the roof and in all the valleys around the pipe vents and the chimney; 15 lb. felt paper in remaining areas; new aluminum pipe boot; rolled ridge vent and capping; and of course the roofing shingles of our choice. This also includes a 10-year labor and materials limited warranty from Gordon. They worked on a sunny but freezing cold day and got it done. There was still a little debris (nails - not unusual) left after, but a phone call to Gordon resulted in apologies and a return with the giant magnet to remove all that could be removed, considering there was snow on the ground.
