Excellent Fromm the first appointment to the install. John was very professional, and friendly too. Comes back to make sure measurements are all correct and that we chose the right fabrics. The install went very smoothly and they are extremely neat. I would highly recommend this company for any window treatment or upholstery job.

He came out with some sample fabrics and within a week my chairs looked like new and I love the fabric. I would definitely use them again.

Excellent workmanship. If I knew how wonderful the work would be I would have used a very expensive fabric. However I am most pleased with how the chair looks. The Bistro chairs never looked so good. Wonderful job! I would recommend them to everyone. Yes they are expensive but you will never be disappointed. The assistant/deliveryman I believe was Thomas most pleasant and professional. John Laye is a true professional. A craftsman you can trust!

From the first contact with John until Mike completed the installation, we had nothing but a very positive experience. John was right on time for the first meeting. After looking at the family room for the first time, John asked questions about how we used the room and how much light we wanted or didn't t want in the room for the various uses. John showed us several products that he thought appropriate based upon our answers. John was prompt in giving us estimates on our top two choices. We went with the Odesse blinds. Before placing the order John and his installer Mike returned to remeasure and to confirm color selection. John was right on target in how long it would take for the order to arrive. John was was very flexible in scheduling the installation as we needed to work around a family vacation and having the room painted. iMike arrived at the time John indicated to do the install. Mike was very professional and very informative as to the operation and care of the blinds. He was very neat and clean. John came over to check out the installation and make sure everything was good. To sum up a first class operation all they way.

An A rating should really be an AAA+++ for Mr. John Laye and his team! From the first phone contact through the consultation and installation he provided his services with the utmost professionalism. His excellent guidance helped me choose a new window treatment for a remodeled living room, and re-upholstery for a beloved wing chair that was one of our first pieces of furniture when we were married 45 years ago. I stress guidance, because he guides and suggests, lending his expertise in fabric and color, but the final decision was entirely mine and I am THRILLED with the results! I was impressed with the turn-around time on the project, and intrigued as I watched Michael do the installation. Both John and Michael were personable, but very professional. I have already had many compliments on his work from both family and neighbors, and have already given John's card and brochure to my neighbor. I will be calling John again in the future to re-upholster my grandparents oak/upholstered rocking chair. I love how his work has enhanced the new look of our living room!

The services and products were fantastic. John came out in early August, measured, provided me with his thoughts on what would look good and provided a reasonable estimate. Once I decided to place an order, he double checked the measurements just to make sure everything was right, and got the order in. You can really tell that they take pride in the quality of their product and want you to love what you buy from them (I do!!). It only took a few weeks before everything was ready and they were out to do the installation. I had one very high and difficult to reach window, and they were able to do the install without a problem. Both John and his installer were very friendly, punctual, and professional. I would absolutely recommend them.

It was awesome- we explained the problem with the chair and they were many include broken and missing springs ,dog abuse, and general neglect for many years because no one would restore this. We could never find a reliable source we trusted (found on these guys on Angie's list) Rosen interiors listen to our needs and brought back just what we were looking for and more! We couldn't have gone to a better place !

The sofa was well-made, but I had never had it reupholstered in 24 years and the fabric was disintegrating. John came to the house at the appointed hour punctually and showed me lots of fabrics, making suggestions based on what I told him about the way we use the sofa - we have a dog and teenagers, and we USE the sofa. With his help, we picked a dark brown fabric with a bit of gold and red fleck. John's employees picked up the sofa at the time we agreed on, stripped it of all the fabric and cushioning (forgive me, I don't know all the technical terms), at any rate, he got down to the frame, re-tightened everything and reupholstered it, suggesting that we forgo the skirt and he painted the legs a chocolate brown to go with the fabric, at no extra cost. It was delivered on time by John and his son. We have a week to decide whether we're happy. The final result looks very modern and "spiffy" and we're very pleased with it. John is a charming, English gentleman who will take the time to discuss your design needs.

John was absolutely fabulous to work with! I had been negotiating with someone we had worked with in the past for a couple of months but I could hardly even get that guy to talk with me on the phone. But John called me back in a few hours and visited the house to look at the job in <24 hours (on a Saturday morning). He was creative, funny, polite, and helpful. He made several trips to bring us different books of fabrics. Michael who did the installation was careful and thorough. It was, all in all, an excellent experience. I would definitely use them again!

John was great - emailed right away - scheduled an appointment as soon as he returned from vactaion. He came to the house with fabric samples and we choose a material for the chairs. Gave me a firm quote with no depoist needed. It was more than I budgeted but I had a feeling it was going to be worth the investment and I would like my "re-created chairs" better than anything new I had seen.Chairs were picked-up the next weeik and I had them back in 3 weeks. Love the results - great workmanship which matched my overall experince. Thank you Rosen Interiors - an awesome job!

It was great. Everything was handled professionally from day one. We were so impressed with John's knowledge and professionalism as well as his installers. They were great. Another aspect was that we didn't have to contact them to find out the status but John kept in touch to keep up up-dated on the progress and the completion and delivery dates. When they were scheduled to come out, we received at least two calls verifying and letting us know they were on the way and the expected time of arrival. We have contracted with the company to perform a major reupholstering project for us based on their performance with the shades.

It was like John flew in from across the pond with his samples just for us! The minute he arrived, we knew we would have a good experience. He came and assessed our chairs, providing details and examples of what repairs were needed. Not only did he provide samples, but his expertise in interior design helped us decide what best to pick. He had even noticed colors in our dining room in case we wanted to move the chairs in there at some point, so he took the samples in there as well. Because these chairs have been in our family for more than a century, we wanted to be cautious with them, but knew they were in expert hands with John and his staff when we sent them out for repair. (no downpayment, too, for you pay when they are completed) They arrived back today, carried in by John himself and they look spectacular. the colors match the room as well as the tone of the wood in the chairs. John even gave some tips to help to keep the wood clean and nourished before he left. We think Architectural Digest will be calling John once again in the near future for he is that good! I think my great grandma would be so pleased too that her furniture is still being used and better than ever.

We had one old recliner (about 27 years old) and a set of six upholstered wooden dining room chairs that my parents had bought in Stockholm in 1960. The dining room chairs each have a covered seat and a wooden slatted back, and the covering for the seats had never been replaced as far as I remember, so they were looking rather worn, wrinkled, and stained. We called the Robert Rosen company and talked to John and arranged a date for him to come and look at the furniture. Over the telephone, he advised me that not all recliners are worth reupholstering, as sometimes they are not very well made and it would be cheaper to just buy a new one. We decided to have him look at ours and help us decide whether it would be worth keeping. John arrived at the appointed time of the appointed day, took a look at the recliner and remarked that it is very well made, much better made than the newer ones that one usually sees. We decided to go ahead and reupholster that chair, even though it would cost about $1,500, because we would have it for the rest of our lives and it is very comfortable. Then he looked at the dining room chairs. Together, we looked at fabric swatches and made our decision. John told us he would let us know when the fabric came in, to arrange picking up the chairs. Within a week, he called and came over with his assistant, and they took the chairs. By the way, John told us the cost during his first visit, and explained that he never takes a deposit, he only gets paid when the job is done. The chairs were done in about seven working days, and John came with his assistant to deliver them. They looked beautiful. The only glitch was that the recliner no longer reclined. (It had been a little cranky before he took it, but would recline if you applied extra pressure on the foot rest.) Now it simply would not recline. After thinking about it for a day or so, we decided to call him back and tell him that the recliner no longer worked, and we wondered if he could do anything about that. Within a couple of days, he was back to get the chair. He called in a recliner specialist who used to work for Lazy-Boy, and within about a week, he called back to say the recliner was ready and working better than before. He brought it to us, and he was right ... it works perfectly, much better than before. (Not cranky any more, just wants to recline when you want it to!) Needless to say, we are very pleased with this company and the professional pride they take in their work. John was always courteous, personable, and professional. We will recommend them to others, and use them again if we have another reupholstering need.

It was a good sized job. The experience was excellent. I liked their personal service. The owner of the company made an appointment and came out and measured all the windows. He gave me an estimate that I liked. He and one of his employees came back and measured all the windows again. They had me pick out exactly what I wanted and they ordered them. They were in on time. I had to postpone it because I had a couple of windows that I was replacing. That was not a problem and they came the following day. They did the installation in one day. One blind had a defect and they took it away. It will come back very soon and there was no problem with replacing it. They did an excellent job. I would absolutely use them again.

Excellent experience. John Laye is personable and professional. Punctual. Provided assistance with selecting fabric material. Excellent workmanship. It looks beautiful. Seat cushion is more comfortable than the previous cushion. Love seat returned on specific date as promised.

John spent a lot of time with me ascertaining our tastes and helping us pick out fabrics. In contrast to some of the other people we had over to do estimates, he never pushed and was always conscious of the bottom line. That said the quality of the work provided was amazing. The curtains look sumptuous in our formal areas yet coordinate beautifully with our more casual areas. The time lines he provided were very good. They were an absolute delight to work with.

I didn't call many places to perform this service, as Rosen Interiors reviews were exceptional. John called me back right away, and since he was going to be in the area that weekend, he would stop by. I was interested in leather, but after getting a reality check with regard to cost, I settled on a faux leather choice instead. John brought an incredible amount sample choices and at the same time explained the how's and why's of how they would perform the service. I felt very comfortable in giving them the chair. He gave me a realistic time frame for completion and called and apologized when it couldn't be met due to delay in material delivery. I told him I was in no rush and just keep me apprised, which he did. When it arrived, I was more than pleasantly surprised at the level of skill they showed in completing the chair. It looked great and was even more comfortable than it was originally. I heartily recommend them and wouldn't hesitate to consider reupholstering something, if you really care for the item. Besides, as a raconteur, John has no peer. Delightful chap.

John responded right away to my voicemail, and an appointment was made within a few days. He arrived promptly, and gave some great advice and much needed help in choosing colors, etc. After receiving a quote from John, I contracted to have Rosen Interiors make and install two sets of wooden blinds, and three windows of top-down/bottom-up shades. John was kind enough to rush our order, and installation was done about two weeks later. The installer was terrific-- very professional and exacting. He explained the products and their functions and was quick, too! I will be calling John again in the near future.

The whole project went very smoothly and I am so happy. John made it easy with great communication. The customer service was great! I got lots of good advice from John and his recommendations were perfect. His upholstery colleague did an amazing job as well!!

John was prompt with a return call and setting up an appointment. The man who cut the slip cover was impressively skilled and truly enjoys his profession. The finished product was perfect, everything I expected. The employee who delivered the slip cover was meticulous, friendly and informative.

John Laye was wonderful to work with, and we are delighted with the results. He responded to my call on the same day and was available for an appointment within days. He listened carefully, and very quickly understood our goals. We are very happy with the fabric and design he came up with, and believe the price was reasonable. The work was done within weeks, and the installation was done very professionally. We would definitely use his services again.

John returned my phone call promptly. During the appointment he helped me choose some fabrics. I never would have thought of them myself, but the combination works perfectly in the room. Throughout the process he kept me informed as to the progress of the fabric order. Someone came to cut the fabric, and ten days later someone came to install them. The slipcovers fit perfectly. Actually the slipcovers look like upholstery and the fabrics are gorgeous.

John's workmanship was excellent. He is very knowledgeable about slipcovers and upholstery. Our first choice fabric ended up not being available, after which he provided a price break when we had to go to a replacement fabric. He cleaned up after both of his visits to our house, and the chair looks and feels great.

We needed our love seats and our dining room chairs repaired. Both had fabric that was old and worn out (and chewed on by our animals). John came over and made several reccomendations while spending time getting to know us. He suggested two fabrics that we never would have picked! m Every member of his team was knowledgeable and experienced about the business. Our furniture is very old which means well made and John restored everything! Will call him again soon for more.
