In short, I will NEVER recommend the services of Benjamin Franklin to anyone. I was charged for services that were NOT provided, as shown on the invoice vs. the notes from the technician. I was charged $1375 to have my line jetted, a camera inspection, line cable clear, and chemical treatment. When the technician arrived, he jetted only the trap, told me that the line from the house to the trap was clear, the problem happened between trap and the main sewer line, and that it would cost me $7,500 for them to come out and fix the issue. I was left with a backed up sewer line, told my pipes were broken beyond repair, and told to give Benjamin Franklin a call when I wanted all of my sewer line replaced. That is extortion. I called another line-clearing service, and they came out the next day, only to discover that the line from my house to the trap was clogged solid with months of build-up. It was so bad, they could not even get the camera more than a few feet into the pipe. Once they jetted the line, my sewer is working smoothly again. The pipe line is intact, it was just clogged solid. There is no way in hell that the technician from Benjamin Franklin jetted the line. I will be fighting to get my money back for services not rendered. I will never utilize the --services-- of Benjamin Franklin again, and I strongly recommend using a plumbing service other than Benjamin Franklin.

When I called early Sunday evening (about 6 PM) Benjamin Franklin responded quickly, within an hour. Benjamin Franklin had already been at the site the night before and had a new crew on the scene the next day by the time Secco called. This may have been an anomally on Secco s part, but it s the situation I experienced. The emergency aspect was over in three days, that of diagnosing the problem with complicated old pipes being dug up and replaced. The final finishing work is still in process - replacing the lawn and adding resettled gravel on the parking pad. Communication and courtesy along with a job well done is all key to customer satisfaction. While the total job is not complete, expectations have been satisfied and thanks to the job leader remaining in touch, we know what to expect. We would definitely recoomend trying Benjamin Franklin for your ion, be it a planned project or an emergency.

Replace shower riser and personal sprayer. *Ben Franklin plumbing is not responsible for patching wall! (I will touch on that later). Total: $1048.00 Work Done: Found water staining on kitchen ceiling and Customer Explained water leaked through ceiling when she used shower. Ran tub and found no leak. Diverted from tub/shower and found water leaking from shower riser pipe, running down inside shower and inside wall. Water quality tested. Estimate scheduled for Rebath on Wednesday 3/13/19 at 2:00pm. Tried to sell me on WATER TREATMENT between Option #1 , 2, 3 an 4. Cost ranged between $2587 to $4988. Collected service call fee $76.00

We were charged $1,500 for a tech to replace 9 shut off valves under the sinks in our bathrooms, kitchen, and basement. It took the tech less than 2 hours. He was very professional and did a great job. But after looking into actual material costs (these valves are $5 a piece) my husband called in to speak to a manager and asked if they could provide a breakdown of material and labor costs. He was told that Benjamin Franklin does not provide these and that he just *does not know how much it costs to run a business.* He was also told that another supervisor would give him a call back early the next week and it has been 17 days and no call. If you are considering this company definitely get other quotes or you will be overcharged. You are better off going with a local company. We were taken advantage of and WAY OVERCHARGED.

Staff worked quickly with good results. They were good communicators, and I was very pleased. My only complaint was that I didn't get a call back when they said they would, and they also didn't call the morning of the service to say they were coming, as promised.

The repair man came out on a gross snow and icy day. It's great they carry water heater on the truck, but now I see why if you have an opportunity to shop around you'll realize they charge hundreds more than their competition. Please shop around!

They arrived early! Quickly assessed the problem and provided alternative solutions with pros and cons for each. Got staff on site to complete the job quickly.

The plumber was very professional and courteous, after determining what the issue was he gave a couple of options. He had everything done in about an hour. The only negative I would have is the rates.
