Awful job. The poly is already chipping up I'm basically down to bare wood and the job was done a month ago. The job was rushed and poorly done.

John and his team did excellent work and I would highly recommend them to any of my friends or family. Everyone else told us the only option we had was to put down a new floor, but they were able to restore and refinish our original wood flooring and did a great job.

John was great to work with - highly communicative and thorough. The only issue was that John didn't give us samples of the colors he offered. That said, I would 100% use John, and recommend him to friends (and already have!)

John and his team did a great job on my floors. They look fantastic. John was the only contractor who was willing to do the work that we wanted done. Everyone else tried to tell us that we should paint the rails and baseboards, but John was willing to go the extra mile and refinish them. His estimate was reasonable and the job was done in a timely fashion. I would definitely recommend him to friends and family.

My floors look amazing! I have been working on my new home for a few months and can't believe how hard it is to hire people that actually deliver what they say they will. I refinished the existing floors in the home, estimate was fair and they also repaired 2areas that we're damaged. The workers were professional and on time, also good with cleanup. Would definitely hire again, have some family members already interested in hiring. Thanks John for a job well done!

John did not perform the job himself but his colleague had plenty of experience. He did a good job but there was a board damaged when he was fixing the damaged part of the floor. Its not too noticeable but thought it should be addressed. Overall, good job and on time.

I picked John because of the great ratings. He called and came almost immediately to sell the job. He did tell us that we may have to touch up the white moldings and sides and risers of the stairs. His crew made a terrible mess when they stained the wood and when I said something to John he said that he told us that up front - he never bothered to even look. When I asked him 10 days ago if he could drop off a small amount of polyurethane or give me the brand name so I could buy it, he told me that I could pick it up at 7 am at his business. I think a reputable company should fix this problem

John refinished floors in a rental we own. There was a little confusion about what was to be done but John worked it out to my satisfaction. I would recommend him.

John is not who installed my floor, but his installer had 20 years experience. He showed up on time each day and got the job done quickly. My only complaint is that some of the boards cracked during installation and he didn't notice and remove them before continuing. He offered to cut them out after I pointed them out but informed me that the replacement board wouldn't look the same and it was better to leave it the way it was. I also wanted an insulated underlay in the bedrooms and he refused to use it. Other than that, the floors look great and the price was reasonable. UPDATE: A few years later and some of the floor boards are buckling and I called the business number and cell number several times, left several messages, and no response. Obviously this business does NOT stand by their work. I'm going to have to find another contractor to fix this problem. I do NOT recommend using John's Hardwood Floors!

John is very professional and hard working. Pricing and quality of work are VERY good! This job was for a rental so we weren't too picky about perfection, but they did a very good job and exceeded our expectations. I definitely recommend John's Hardwood Flooring and will definitely call them back for the other rental units we will have to fix up later on.

John and his team (John, Moses and all the rest) were incredibly professional, hardworking and thorough. The floors look even better than I expected, and they suggested little fixes that made a huge difference. This is not an inexpensive undertaking, and I know I got the best possible work for my money. I would absolutely use them again.

Showed up on time. Professional. Hard working. Already referred them to my neighbor, he is thinking of getting his floors done. We didn't stain the floors just let the 60 year old wood shine with a beautiful satin finish. Should have done this sooner. Thanks Jonathan and Moses, great working with you both.

John was very easy to work with and he made very good recommendations. The work was done as promised with a minimum amount of dust from the sanding. The floors look great.

John and team did an excellant job on my hard wood floors and their clean up was impeccable. I will use them again and clearly recomend them.
