My first car was a red 1990 Mazda 323 that had been the "training car" for all 5 of my husbands siblings. This car was so ugly that I left the doors unlocked and the windows down no matter what neighborhood I was in. I figured that if anyone chose this car to steal that car, they had to be really desperate. I was amazed that Tim and Russ could keep it running so well. I had it for 3 years, and only replaced it because it wasn't equipped to hold my infant car seat.
My next car was a 1998 Honda Accord LS. It was beautiful to look at, but I had no idea what I was doing when I bought it. I had it serviced several times at the Honda dealership, but they couldn't identify the source of the oil leak. It was the HTS guys who found the source of the leak and gently broke it to me that the repairs would cost more than I paid for the car because the engine would have to be removed and taken apart to replace the broken "thingy". When I took it back to Honda for a second opinion, they looked more carefully and confirmed that the HTS assessment was accurate.
The next car I got was a 2001 Suzuki Esteem. It wasn't fancy, but I loved it. It was cute, and got pretty good gas mileage. It was designed for car seats, and easy to park. Russ and Tim took great car of this car. I'm sure I would still have my Esteem, but it was totaled by an old driver in an old Buick.
I will bring my next car to HTS, as soon as we need a second car again.
It's a pleasure bringing your car in to them, knowing you'll get the right work done. A point worth mentioning -- I've brought my car in with issues, they have given my car a complete overview, and when finding nothing, charged nothing.
That's a kind of honesty so rarely found in auto repair shops, or anywhere!
