Child Guidance Resource Centers

There was some helpful therapy taking place, but most sessions felt like just another adult reprimanding our child for the behavior we had already addressed. We requested more intensive services several times, and various services were scheduled several times. Each time, however, we received a call cancelling at the last minute (the evening before the appointment), because we were 'not eligible' for the service. This was after several phone calls, having scheduled appointments weeks in advance, and patiently waiting for Child Guidance to work with us. They are poorly organized and do not communicate well within their own organization.
