Matthew was originally hired to assist my nephew in preperation for the Parochial High School Admissions exam. Building a relationship with Matthew was the best thing for my nephew. Matthew was very safe going into this situation creating a trusting a environment. Not knowing what he was walking into, Matthew quickly learned that my nephew’s academic inabilities were far more important than preparing for an high school entrance exam. Immediately Matthew begin working on creating a plan of action. He is very patient, yet intentional about holding my nephew accountable. Moreover, he follows up and send reminders for my nephew (I.e. don’t forget to bring your book home from school, remember to work on your math). Although we have a long way to go, it’s safe to say that we are seeing some progress. Thanks Matthew.

My dog passed away in June and they are still charging me for service. Due to his age he has not received vaccination in over 4 years but yet I was still charged the same amount. I was on the phone with the corporate office for almost two hours and they refused to refund me the total owed to me. I currently have two other dogs on their plan and will be canceling them as well.

Recent Review:
Dealing with Julie the owner has been very difficult. There has been a series of emails back and forth in an attempt to resolve this matter. I asked her to cover the costs of the Veterinary bills that I incurred to get my dog's eye treated for a puncture wound to his lower eyelid sustained while he was in her care amounting to over $160. I also asked to be reimbursed for the daycare fee of $20 that I had paid her. Her attitude is to insist that I am only distressed because her staff did not apologize to me at the time This is nonsense. I was and am distressed that their procedures for monitoring the dogs seems inadequate and that my dog was injured while in their care without notice to me, without treatment, and without their even noticing this--even when they put the leash on him and returned him to me as I waited in the reception area. I expected my dog to be tired when I got him back, but not to have a serious eye injury, and I expected them to take responsibility for injuries sustained to animals while in their care. I asked to be reimbursed for the costs of veterinary bills and medication that were part of the treatment for my dog's injuries. This has been refused and she seems to deny that she has any responsibility for injuries to dogs sustained while in her care. I told Julie if she did not reimburse me for the costs I incurred to treat my dog for the injuries he sustained at her establishment, I would file a claim in Small Claims Court to seek this reimbursement.
Julie has refused to provide me with insurance claim information which I requested, claiming that she doesn't have to, and today she advised that I would have to speak with her lawyer, but as of this writing she has not provided me with that person's name and contact information, although I requested it.
If all goes well when dogs are left in her care, you are lucky. My dog and I were not lucky on August 28, 2013, and her response in refusing to accept any responsibility for the injury to my dog that occurred while in her care should make you reluctant to leave your dog at her establishment. I only wish I could attach a picture so you could see what my dog's eye looked like when I picked him up from IN THE DOGHOUSE.
Below is part of the last communication I received from Julie. You judge for yourself if this is someone with whom you wish to leave your beloved dog, especially if something happens to him/her:
"5. I REFUSE to allow you to claim an accident as my negligence by my staff; we care about all of the dogs as if they were our own. Xazqqaq.
5. With all of this said, due to you threatening to take me to small claims court, all future written and verbal correspondence will be handled through my lawyer."
As far as using IN THE DOG HOUSE, CAVEAT EMPTOR.

Great job, and we loved the goodie bag for new customers, with dog toy, treats and other goodies. Ladies are lovely and very attentive, but they did not trim as neatly as I expected, and they said that pup was too nervous to do a good job. May try them again to see if they can handle otherwise calm puppy.

I dont believe she spent actual quality time. She spent about 15-20 minutes only because she lived half an hour away. No quality time was spent with them. The litter boxes were dirty. I would never use her even in an emergency. There is another website "care" something which I plan to use. She charged $20/hour TEN years ago plus mileage. Can't imagine what it is now. She is strictly a businesswoman not a passionate animal lover.

Nox GroomingMy dog hates baths and has had some experiences with groomers where he has fought me on going back - but he loves Nox! She didn’t even mind that he peed on her floor the first time 🤦🏻♀️ He’s happy to go in with her, comes out smelling great with smooth short claws and is all tail wags! She is very knowledgable, gentle with animals, professional, and very easy to work with. Would definitely recommend! 🐾 🐾- Allie B.

PAWFESSIONAL PET CAREShe was a few minutes late but there was construction on the parkway. Our dogs were going to a kennel and I wanted a good summer clip not really typical of our dogs' breed. She did an excellent job making them still look like their breed yet good for the summer. Our dogs seemed happy and I will go there again.- Donald A.
