I pretty much hunt down all the Toyota Dealership for 2013 RAV4 XLE in Portland region and this dealership offer the best price out of all the dealers, no pressure and bait and switch mentality that I had experienced at the other dealership. One person from start to finish, there is no 2nd or 3rd person you have to deal with and again no pressure on trying to sign you up with GAP insurance and extended Warranties.
This is my first car so I do lots of research about what dealership offer the most competitive price and incentives. I would have to say Wilsonville has definitely won my business. I talk to them online and in person they're definitely the most efficient and who truly cares about their customers's needs. They make things simple, they tell your their flat price up front and how much your final walking away price would be.
I'm also very glad that they can deliver the car to my house, but one thing that bothered me a bit was the fact that no one call me when they are going to be late and I have a tight schedule that day. I think that's something they need to work a bit on but overall they are definitely on my top list for future purchases.

Great. I called earlier in the week and they could get in for my schedule. They promptly saw me and had all the details of the work I requested. They called when they had thought the car would be ready. I picked up my car and they were friendly and very professional. I think they are great. And washed my car too.

My wife brought her 2003 Toyota Corolla for the Airbag Recall work. Representative from Wilsonville Toyota called my wife to tell her that the front brake pad needs to be replaced or it would scrape and damage the brake disc. In addition, the brake fluid needs to be flushed and the Engine Belt Tensioner needed to be replace because it is leaking oil.
When my wife told the service representative that she wanted to check with her husband (me), her tone changed from her friendly tone.
When my wife called me about the service recommendation and mentioned about the brakes I immediately became suspicious about these recommendation. Less than 2 years ago we just replaced the brake pads and resurfaced the rotors at Beaverton Toyota. In addition, the recommendation to flush the brake fluid is another flag that these recommendation needed to be taken with a grain of salt.
Brake fluid flush recommendation most of the time is unnecessary and almost always offered when you go to Oil Change store. Only in extreme cases that it would be necessary but it is almost always recommended by shady auto repair shops to get more profit.
So I asked my wife to let the representative to write down the recommendation and we will think about it.
Yesterday, we brought the car to our neighborhood auto repair shop that we knew is reputable. He took off our front tires and inspected the brake pad on both sides. He showed us that the brake pads still have plenty of life in it and probably would not need to be replaced for another 8000-10000 miles. A quick look at the brake fluid reservoir confirmed that there is no need to flush the brake fluid since you can see that it is clean. Finally he looked at the Engine Belt Tensioner and told us there is nothing wrong with it.

The last time this car was taken in for service (about a month ago) our son was given a $500 list of and quot;optionaland quot; work that he might consider having done. At the time we were rather surprised at all of the suggested repairs since this vehicle is not terribly old and has less than forty thousand miles on it. Starting about two weeks later, we began to get phone calls from a representative at Wilsonville Toyota. The person was courteous, but quite insistent that this work really needed to be done. We received a couple of phone calls from this person, despite the fact that we had explained that our son does not live with us. We gave the person our son's number and he also received several phone calls both at home and at work. Since the person was so insistent and offered him a discount, he decided to have at least some of the work on the list done. He was told that the work would take 2 1/2 hours.
My husband picked up the car at our son's workplace and took it in. He arrived at the dealership at 11 A.M. and the vehicle was not ready until 4:15 P.M. Meanwhile, our son got out of work and had no car. The service department gave no explanation as to why the service had taken over 5 hours instead of 2 1/2 hours.
This event is, for us, rather like the last straw. We live within walking distance of Wilsonville Toyota-Scion. When this dealership opened we were delighted, and we purchased a vehicle from them. We were very pleased with the service department and took our vehicle as well as our son's vehicle there. However in the past year or so, we have noticed a change in the service policies. It seems that every time we bring in a vehicle in for service we find that it is in need of costly repairs. We hear other people in the waiting room being told the same thing. Not being mechanics, we have no way of knowing if these repairs are, indeed, necessary. However, after this most recent instance of being hounded about supposedly optional service work and then being inconvenienced by the tardiness of the service, we will advise our son to take his vehicle elsewhere. And despite the closeness of the dealership to our home, we are considering finding another place to service our vehicle also.

They have a nice place to wait. They know more about what to look for in my Toyota. I have never found anything I have been concerned about. They can get busy.

They're great. I like being able to use their online services to make an appointment. I always get in right away and they deal with it right away. They have a great comfortable waiting room area, a place to sit and read, and coffee and all that. They have very good people that let you know what they're doing and why they're doing it. They are very reasonably priced. They do great follow up and they always check to see that all went well.

They did a good job. I was able to make an appointment in advance. When I got there, they were ready to deal with me. If there were any recalls, they offered to do them at a convenient time. When I go, I feel like I get a reasonable deal. This time, I asked the lady a question, and nobody was able to answer. She said she would give me a call back, but I haven't heard back from her. However, that's an unusual occurrence. Usually, they call me back if they say they will.

It went very well. They are very thorough and they have got an excellent waiting room. They keep me informed about how things are going and if it will take longer than they thought. They keep their appointments very timely. I had a problem that came as a result of something the original dealer had done. They went out of their way to fix that without charging me for it.

They are my dealers. They are excellent. I have no complaints. The work was fine. I take my vehicle there and I go and sit in a room and wait for them to come out and tell me that the service is done. It was not a long wait. The customer service was fine. I get an appointment anytime I go. I would use them again in the future. My last service was 5000 miles, and it is time for another service right now.

One of the worst customer services experiences I've ever had. First there were the 'little things'- indifferent salesman turned to outright rude once we denied the add-on services (e.g., additional warranty)...realizing the car was almost out of gas once we drove from lot to freeway...that there were no floor mats as advertised. But the main issue- second day after purchasing the car, tire pressure warning light came on and by third day one of the front tires was completely flat. We took the car to Les Schwab to discover that the tread depth was '2' and the front tires need to be replaced immediately (no longer legal to drive). Our Inspection paperwork states a tread depth of '4'. We have had four interactions with 'management' and to make a long, painful story short- encountered the most unprofessional, insulting and awful service imaginable. We were told to come out so the Used Car manager could inspect the tires himself. He tried to say the tires were fine. We took the car to Broadway Imports and Costco- at both places were told the front tires measured '2'. The next trip back the Used Car Manager said he would meet with me to discuss, but then literally would not talk to me when I arrived. He sent 'Boyce' who told me my tires were at '4'. When I told him that even his Manager had admitted one was at 2 7/8 and that the Inspection paperwork was misleading, he tried to say that the tires measured '4' when it arrived on the lot, but not necessarily when we purchased it and left the lot. He was stunningly arrogant and dismissive. They offered to help me out by selling me tires at their employee discount which would cost me %15 more than I would pay at Costco or Tirerack. When I told them this was of no help to me and the issue was that I would never had paid full price if I had realized the tires needed to be replaced immediately. I shared that we had trusted the Inspection paperwor and at a '4/32' we did not budget needing new tires for close to a year. Bottom line- I see this as a deceptive business practice. I drove home with two young children in the back in a car that had one tire that was a blowout waiting to happen. Any dealer with any level of professionalism, I would think, would be distressed for a customer to uncover such a discrepancy and would have bent over backwards to correct the situation. The opposite was true for us. After I finally told Boyce that this was my third 'debate' over these tires, that I was DONE having the conversation, and that they had lost my good will as a customer completely...the floor mats that we had driven from Portland to pick up (after receiving a call from Toyota Wilsonville asking us to pick them up) were suddenly discovered to not have been ordered (for a second time). I have no doubt that they will never materialize. PLEASE take your business to a reputable Toyota dealership where every customer is valued regardless of the width of the profit margin.

I just wanted to give kudos to the people at Wilsonville Toyota. They really did a good job. My car had a rather long list of things it needed done. The O rings, fluids changed, tires rotated--a lot of things. The original quote for work was something like 650.00, but it came in at 393.08. This is because they were able to get the work done in less time than they originally thought. How often does that happen? Not only that, when I picked my car up, it was washed and someone had vacuumed the inside! That just made me so happy! I worked with Chuck in the service department. He was very professional. He made sure to call me several times and explain what was going on with my car. I got a lift home from a young man who had a cold. I asked him if he felt okay, but he was polite and said he did. I did not get his name. Wilsonville Toyota has a good vibe. I like their service center. It is bright and clean. The waiting room is so nice, you forget you're waiting. They just seem to have really figured it out--the whole service thing-- in both their quality people and building aesthetics. And if I were ever to part with my beloved Forerunner, I would buy my next Toyota at Wilsonville--and that's no bull.
