Great service with a smile!!! I dropped off my tools, was told they would be ready in an hour and returned 45 minutes later to find they were already completed. The work was fantastic, all of the tools are as sharp as possible and perform great. I will return to them for all of my sharpening needs.

It was a great deal. Only $35 for all nine knives. She suggested that I not sharpen two of them because they and quot;will not hold an edge long.and quot; The knives re very sharp. She gave me advice about care of the knives as well.
I am very happy with the service and will go there the next time.

I tried this shop since I needed my sewing scissors sharpened and over the years had not been satisfied with other venders. I was so delighted by the skill and the price that I returned two more times with garden tools and all my kitchen knives. I am a fussy sewer and require really sharp scissors, especially rneeded for delicate fabrics. Harmonie explained to me that a couple knives were really not worth the expense of sharpening, and she was correct. My garden tools were not only sharp when I picked them up, but they all had been well cleaned. Also, both Harmonie and her husband are very careful to explain safety when transporting sharps, and everything is well wrapped when ready for pick-up. Sometimes their friendly little dog is in the shop. I am an older woman with years of experience taking knives, scissors and garden tools to sharpeners, so I can truly say that this sharpening business is a precious jewel.

Harmonie did a fantastic job on all of the instruments I brought in for sharpening. I dropped off about 10 knives, a pair of scissors and about 9 miscellaneous yard/garden snipers, trimmers, etc. I left them with her about 2 pm on a Tuesday and came back for them the next day and they were ready and waiting for me. All the knives and the scissors work beautifully! It takes no effort at all now to chop up an onion! I have not tried the garden tools yet but I'm sure they will work perfectly also. And if they don't, Harmonie said to bring back anything I'm not satisfied with and she would make it right. Great customer service!
On a side note, please do not take your knives to Sur La Table for sharpening! Because Sur La Table is close to our home, my husband took our knives down there to be sharpened. When he brought them home, the knives were sharpened but they also had numerous nicks in the blades. Make the drive to NE Sandy to this little gem of a store front. You'll be glad you did.

This is a small, friendly, and thoroughly professional shop. The owners explained in careful detail just what would be done, how many more sharpenings I could expect for a couple of older knives, exactly how to care for them, and under what use conditions I would need to come back for another round. Couldn't have had a better experience!

Outstanding!!....Easy in and out right on Sandy blvd next to the USP store......but the real service is in the knowedge of this young craftswoman...Harmonie is a veritable fountain of knowledge on all things cutlery and more....if it can be sharpened, she knows how, what and the when of it......She's honest to a fault, no bull, no up sell, just this is what you need, this is what I can do and she won't waste your money on cutlery that isn't worth resharpening....This kind of business is a rarity today....

They brought an awning to set up under and did a very good job. A neighbor saw them in our drive, and they did some sharpening for them as well.

I took my push mower in to get the blades sharpened, as it wasn't cutting grass efficiently. I was told that, while the mower blades were indeed dull, the real problem was the that reel height needed adjusting, and that I could probably wait until next season to get the blades sharpened. The woman who helped me (didn't get her name) made the adjustment, then locked the shop while we walked to a nearby patch of lawn to test the mower. Worked fine!
When I asked how much I owed, she told me there was no charge, as they considered something like that just good customer service.

Dropped knives off and was told it would take about 1 hour. Went grocery shopping and returned to pick them up.

Harmony was delightful to work with. Service was prompt and the price was right. I feel they know what they're doing at this business.

It went well. I waited 15 from the time I walked in to have a few knifes sharpened. The knives are now very sharp.

I needed a place to sharpen my knives. Not only did they do an excellent job at a very reasonable price, they gave me some excellent tips on keeping them sharp.

The woman running Sharpening4u was very friendly and courteous. She asked questions trying to discover how I use the knives, when or if I ever sharpen them, etc. She also offered to show me how to use a steel to sharpen the knives inbetween professional sharpenings. She was very knowledgeable and I would highly recommend their services.

I would have preferred to have it back sooner, but their time estimate
was accurate. Handy to have them right in my neighborhood.

They are very pleasant people who did a great job on my knives. They did it quickly, too. I especially liked their sign asking customers to please not talk to them while they are sharpening. I'm sure it's for their own safety, but it also assured me they were concentrating on doing things right.
I have a wrist injury and bought a knife from them that I think will make my cutting and chopping much easier for me without straining my wrist. I felt it was very reasonably priced at $14.
I will definitely go back.

The young couple who constitute this company did a beautiful job. The mower runs like it has never run before. They clearly take pride in their work. They even came in on their day off to deliver the mower.

I have just returned to Portland after many years away. Joined Angie's List by reccomendation. Called Sharpening4u and was pleased with friendly response. I drove to the shop. Dropped off my knives. Returned in 30 minutes and my knives were ready to go. I was given good instruction on how to keep the knives clean, safe and sharp. Good job. Good people.
