Ryan and the team were great - they were super responsive, very meticulous, and did an amazingly clean job.

We discovered a leak that manifested itself in the basement but came from upstairs (we had to have a leak-finding company trace it. We got the leak repaired, and then needed water/mold remediation because here in the Northwest mold set in within hours. Seth came out very promptly, assessed the situation, and set his crew to work. They had to cut apart and remove part of the kitchen counter, remove the sink pod and dishwasher, open the wall to the studs, and pull out all the wet insulation all the way up into the ceiling and down to the basement. They set up the blowers and dehumidifier to dry it all out, all encased in a plastic drape. The blowers were in for 3 days. They reassessed the situation on Monday, found it all dry, and removed the blowers. They were very careful with the sink cabinet so we could just have it placed back instead of having a new one built, and they were very careful with our dishwasher when they had to move it to the garage to get it out of the way. All this was done in conjunction with our homeowners insurance. The crew was respectful of our situation and did the job with little fuss and bother (other than the unavoidable inconvenience of not having a sink or dishwasher in the kitchen!). We would definitely hire them again - though I really hope we never have to.

I had the pleasure of working with Oregon Restoration while purchasing my new home. While working in the crawl space, a rather extensive amount of mold was found and I honestly had a few days of panic. However I called Oregon Restoration and Ryan and his crew were so reassuring, they were quick to come over and assess the situation. The clean up job they did was phenomenal! You cannot tell there was ever any mold at all. All staining is gone. When I had the air quality tested after the treatment (since I have a baby) the samples inside the house were lower than the ambient outside readings. I cannot say enough good things about this company. They were always willing to discuss the job with me and to answer any questions that I had. They were patient, reassuring and their work was excellent! I will be recommending them every chance I get.

They never showed up at the agreed upon time and have not since returned any calls.

I called Ryan at 6pm on 2.18.2016 stressing over possible mold in my attic. We are selling our home and I didn't want the buyers to worry about any mold in the attic. I explained that we were going through a home inspection on 2.19 at 12pm and I wanted everything fixed and perfect for the inspection. I had a huge amount of anxiety over this issue. Ryan spoke to my husband and I and was able to calm me down. He went above and beyond the call of duty and called us around 8pm to tell us that he had someone on his team that was able to be at our house at 6:30am. Ryan and his associate showed up on time and got to work. There wasn't much mold, but he was diligent in cleaning what there was and in looking for possible other locations. THIS TEAM WAS AMAZING! THEY CALMED MY FEARS, FIXED THE ISSUE, GOT IT DONE IN TIME AND BEYOND THE CALL OF DUTY!!! IF YOU WANT THE ISSUE FIXED, CALLED RYAN!! I would use them again and again and again...................if we were staying in Oregon.

I recently had a new garage door installed and my garage floor finished with an epoxy sealant. That combination, along with an extremely wet December, caused mold to suddenly form on the sheetrock from the pooling water from wet cars, and the "tightness" of the garage. Ryan came out and assessed the situation. It is obvious he is very knowledgeable about every aspect of mold. He measured the moisture content of the walls, confirmed my suspicion about the cause, and explained different options to fix it. They wiped down the walls and celiing with a bleach-like material that removed the mold with absolutely no staining. Then they thoroughly dried the garage with fans and a large dehumidifier for three days. The last step was to fog the walls and ceiling with a non-toxic material to prevent the mold from recurring. I also put in a small dehumidifier to keep the humidity down. Ryan and his team are easy to work with, friendly, and go out of their way to make sure you are pleased with their work. I would not hesitate to use them again.

A week after all the heavy rains we had mid December, we discovered that our sump pump stopped working and we had three feet of water in our crawl space. ?We ended up pumping out almost 18,000 gallons of water. ?We called around to several restoration companies and Oregon Restoration was the only company that returned my phone calls and came out to give an estimate when they were scheduled. ?When they came out they put together a reasonable bid and offered us a temporary pump to rent, until we could get a plumber out to install a new sump pump. ?Once we got all the water out of the crawlspace and a plumber to install a new pump, Oregon Restoration came out as scheduled to demo the crawl space and setup fans, heater and dehumidifier to dry out the space. ?This process took about a week and early Monday they came out first thing in the morning to pull all the equipment so we can get the insulation/ducting company immediately after that. ?Oregon Restoration was great, because they came out when scheduled and were very helpful in giving us suggestions to avoid this from happening again. ?Ryan, Curtis and Ken were all very helpful and great to work with.

We got the estimate soon after the roof was replaced. Ryan came out and took a look and suggested the best time for the project would be in the late spring or summer when everything dried out. He gave us an estimate and we kept it on file. In September we called them back out and Dave set up a time to do the project. They stuck to the estimate we had been given and were able to complete the mitigation project in one day. The two man crew did a great job and cleaned up after.

These guys were amazing. Ryan and his crew were professional, courteous and really know their stuff. We had started work with another company, and despite 'talking the talk' I really didn't feel like they were careful enough or thorough enough. Ryan's crew completed the job. I'm highly allergic to mold, and was very concerned about the possibility about cross-contamination throughout the house. Oregon Restoration was very careful and our follow up labs showed that as I suspected no cross-contamination occurred. On top of doing a great job, everyone who came to our home was very personable and easy to work with. We have had a lot of contractors working on our home recently. The majority have been from Angie's List. Only a few would I highly recommend and Oregon Restoration is one of them. Thank you!!

Gene lead the project at our house and he was great. He was very careful with scheduling -- making sure we knew when he would be there and when he was leaving and checking to make sure it worked with our schedule. He even came back one evening around 7:30 pm to nail a window shut to keep out the critters, which was especially nice. Our basement smells much better now and we feel a lot better knowing the mold is gone.

I do not like Angie's List offers that provide a $$ amount towards something to be bid later. The bid is ALWAYS higher than one would think compared to non-deal bids.

Oregon Restoration provided us with a free basement inspection for mold and a number of conversations with very helpful advice that they did not charge us for. I was very sick at the time, and had been told by doctors that mold exposure is a big problem for me. I was really, really freaked out. Oregon Restoration could've very easily taken advantage of my state of mind, and could have sold me on $10,000 worth of unnecessary work?the sort of thing you hear about mold remediators doing. Instead, they gave us patient, measured advice on how we could safely do much of the process ourselves. Eventually, we hired them to bring in industrial-strength dehumidifiers to dry out a cement-floor upstairs large shower that needed re-sealing. This kind of work is expensive, but no more so than other services charge. Ryan at Oregon Restoration did a great job of explaining what they were doing and how everything worked. The quality of their advice and explanations was sky-high-- an A+ -- and the dehumidification work appeared to be great, too. The only reason I would give them perhaps a B-plus instead of an A on Qualiity: When they initially went through our basement for a mold inspection, they reported finding no visible mold on the structure itself. A contractor right around that same time had his mold remediator person come out and look; and that person found a tiny but quite visible patch. Otherwise we were very happy with their service and have recommended them to several friends.

They were very detailed-had state of the art equipment.Cleaned every speck of mold right down to bare wood.

When they came, they set up a barrier to keep materials and any cleaner smell out of our home. They were efficient, polite, clean, and friendly. We had some hard to reach places that I wanted to make sure were clean since the inspectors couldn't get into them. Oregon Restoration got in and took photos to show that the boards were clean and mold free. I appreciate their enthusiastic responsiveness and pride in their work. They are friendly and explain what they do thoroughly and clearly.

Dave was very professional in all aspects of his job. He gave us a very detailed explanation of the work to be done. He was very prompt in replying to calls & emails. Work was done in a neat, efficient manner Highly recommend.

He came over right on time, and when I pointed out the area on my concrete basement wall, he told me immediately that it wasn't actually mold! He then explained what it was (something called "efflorescence"), told me how to deal with it & that it was harmless. He also offered suggestions on how to avoid mold growth in the basement in the future, and then promised me a refund (since I didn't need to retain his services). If and when I do need mold dealt with in the future, I'll call him again for sure.

When they came they were very respectful and focused on the work, and they did a great job. I would definitely use this company again.

They cleaned mold out of the attic as part of a real estate transaction, so time was of the essence, and they really delivered. They came out right away, got me the estimate quickly, and came out quickly to do the work. They were very responsive, easy to work with, and professional.

Well, 2 weeks after we moved in, we noticed a toilet leak and when the plumber came out to fix it he took one look at the floor and said "that's a much bigger problem. I can't do anything until you rip out the floor." Queue hand against head. We got homeowners insurance involved and found Oregon Restoration through here. From first contact to final touchups on the bathroom remodel, Curtis and his team were AWESOME. Seriously, they made the process easy, from working with adjusters to working with contractors to put our bathroom back together. I never had to worry if they were working or on track-Curtis was always available, quick to respond and hired a great team to do the work of rip out, dry out, and restore. I hope to never have the problem again, but I'd hire them again in a heartbeat. They may not be the cheapest gig in town, but water damage isn't something to mess around with. It was worth hiring a great team for peace of mind. I also love knowing things were put back together correctly, using the best practices and materials. The master bath is one room I won't have to worry about for a long time thanks to Oregon Restoration!

Ryan Gilyeat from Oregon Restoration Company is superior at providing outstanding customer service! You don't find many businesses that will go above and beyond trying to help you unless they are paid first. His company was referred to me by Mold Inspection Sciences Inc to help me with actively wet materials in my apartment. I asked his opinion of how to deal with the dry out process. I had several questions about my situation, as I have a big fear of mold and get sick a lot. What impressed me the most was before calling or meeting Ryan, I sent him a long winded email about how the material became wet, how my apartment maintenance was dealing with it and sent him pictures to get his opinion. I felt bad for sending him a random email from a potential client that his company had not worked with yet.
