He is a very good mechanic. He has never did nothing wrong. He is really trustworthy.

Dimitri is brilliant beyond his years.  Very experienced and very logical in analyzing problems.  I am a "car guy" and I completely follow and appreciate his thoughts when figuring out the unknowns that often occur in cars.  Trust worthy with a very competitive shop rate I would refer him to any family member or friend.  Knows his stuff.

I paid $200 for the work; this included the labor charges. They are just a mile away from my house. The guy was available and was very honest about the entire process. He was fast in giving my car back to me. I will use him again in the future.

We have been going to Dimitri for years now. He is INCREDIBLE!!! He often will check something out right away if you drive over without an appointemnt, even if he is busy. He will try to get parts at a junk yard if appropriate to decrease the cost if we want that. He does excellent work. He does not do work that does not really have to be done. He has saved us hundreds and hundreds of dollars. The dealer told my husband he needed a new transmission. Dimitri disagreed and now 6-7 years later, the car is running like a top. Everyone we have suggested go to him have felt the same way we do about Dimitri. We have found him to be an honest, very personable, pleasant person. We can't say enough good things about him.

I don't usually make appointments ahead of time - I just show up with a problem and they always take it, but appointments do get serviced first so I do usually give him plenty of time to squeeze me in. Even with the slack time I usually get the car back same day, or within a few days if the work is substantial. He has never done work without calling with an estimate and approval.

To be fair, we should first note that before the current work was done, we had two good experiences with substantial jobs at Dimitri's (they involved a different car). However, our third experience the current one, turned out differently. We brought in our 1999 Toyota RAV-4 for a routine checkup and fluid/filter change (about $200). Immediately after getting it back, we noticed it was intermittently losing power over 40 mph. We took it back to Dimitri. He had some ideas about what the problem might be. Later that day he called to say that while revving it in the garage, he heard a loud POP and lost power completely. Figuring the transmission pump had broken (or worse), he kept the car. He ended up keeping it for a week. When the week was up, he showed us a transmission with a broken gear; he also showed us a torque converter, which he said he replaced in case the broken gear had messed it up. He charged us $1100. However, the car immediately began losing power exactly like before.

I have found this shop to do good quality work. They are fair and ethical. I know a good deal about auto repair and I have NEVER felt they were trying to con me. On a number of occasions the shop has found that a less expensive repair was all that was needed when I suspected a larger problem. My car is always ready when they say and they stay in close contact about the price of repairs before proceeding. I feel great peace of mind having them do my oil changes, because they always check my car out thoroughly and let me know how it's ''aging'' this allows me to plan ahead for potential repairs. I highly recommend this shop.
