Description of Work: Nailed it! They reroofed our three level roof in one day removing the old cedar shingles. The whole roof was done and the mess cleaned up by the time,i got home from work. It looked beautiful then and still does 4 years later.

Description of Work: Provided estimate for re-roofing my house. They over-estimated the square footage of the roof (2 other contractors had the same footage). It took 2 visits in order to provide estimate.

Being that we had just had wind storms and record rain, most of the providers I contacted could not even schedule an appointment to inspect the roof for a couple of weeks, but Nail It scheduled an appointment for the next day. | |Their team came on time and inspected the roof, and politely informed me that it was not my roof, but my chimney which was the source of the leak. I asked how much I owed them for the inspection and they told me that it was no charge. | |Everyone I dealt with was professional, courteous and respectful of my time. When there comes a time which I do require a repair, or roof replacement, Nail It will be at the top of my list of companies to contact.

Description of Work: About two years ago I received a bid from Nail It for a roof replacement. I was impressed by his presentation and price and would have used him had my son not been able to come up from Arizona and replace the roof for us.

Description of Work: Nail-It Roofing has done two projects for us over the past 2 years and we have spent approximately $3000 with them for both projects.I have hired several roofers over the past 15 years and Rodrigo Quintanilla and his professional crew are the best roofers I have ever hired. Mr. Quintanilla was recommended by my contractor Hamilton Byerly and my first meeting with him was comprehensive and Mr. Quintanilla provided us with a detailed estimate of work on the first job, which included a complete re-roofing of my studio building.The studio building includes skylights that needed new flashing. The work was completed on-time, on budget and the clean-up thorough.Most recently I called Nail-It Roofing again for emergency repairs on a portion of the main house roof and, again, Mr. Quintanilla showed up promptly, gave us a very fair estimate and completed the work promptly and professionally. His crews show up on-time and with all the gear they need to complete the job. They go right to work and get the job done. I have learned alot about roofing from them.I have had the pleasure of recommending Nail-It Roofing to other people and plan to hire them again for a complete re-roofing of the main house on our property in the near future. I think they are the best in the Greater Portland region.

Description of Work: Found Nail It on Angies List. Called Rodrigo and arranged a time for estimate to service shake roof and repair gutters. Rodrigo no-showed for set time, did come by later after we called him. He did seemingly thorough inspection. Told us he would send estimate. After 2 weeks no estimate was received. We called Rodrigo to follow up. He confused us with another customer and could not recollect coming to our house. He told us that he "looks at alot of houses" and he could not recollect ours and no estimate was ever provided. A complete waste of time for both parties.

Description of Work: I called and asked for a bid. He came out when expected, but we were not home due to an emergency run to the doctor. He left a card, that was it. When I called back the following day to reschedule, I left a message... and no response. I called again two days later. Still no return call. This conduct is very unprofessional, not to mention discourteous. I will not use them, or recommend when there are so many other, more professional businesses out there.

Description of Work: Rodrigo returned our call the same day. He came out to look at the job the next day. It was a small job which entailed replacing all front of the house gutters. He gave us an estimate which we deemed fair. He scheduled the job for the following Saturday. He did not call on Saturday or show up but his workers did show up on Sunday. They completed the work in a short time for the amount estimated. The gutters look good and are ready for the next downpour.

Description of Work: They did a complete tear-off of three layers of old asphalt shingles and one layer of original cedar shingles, before doing extensive repairs on the original tongue and groove fascia boards and rafter ends. After repairs, they re-decked the roof with plywood and installed flashing and shingles. They also installed a new ventilation fan and ridge vents.
