After falling across my bathtub I had four trips to the ER at Columbia Memorial Hospital. The final time via the paramedics was the second time I had been taken there that day. At the time I was having trouble breathing and was in a tremendous amount of pain. Previously I had been diagnosed with bruised ribs and anemia(I was given blood transfusions for this). After an extended amount of time it w...

My overall experience was exceptional as I explained. The staff, both in the hospital and the specialty clinics have really stepped up and the facility is being ran great. It's nice to know they are working side by side with the greater hospitals in the city and they make sure you get the correct care you need. Admitting or check-in: the staff is friendly, patient and helpful Nurses and doctors: c...

Severe Pain in Abdomen I was having symptoms, which seemed like intense heartburn and after a trip to the ER, they ordered an ultrasound and found that I had gallstones and needed gallbladder surgery, so the very next day I was in for consultation with Dr. Duret and scheduled for surgery the next morning. The doctors and nurses in the ER were very kind, considerate, helpful and genuinly had my best interest in mind and did everything they could to make me comfortable and get to the root of the problem. The surgeon, Dr. Duret was so great (if I could have him for my regular dr I would) I knew I was in good hands, becasue a year ago I had an emergency appendectomy and he performed that and he was amazing, his care, concern, follow up, etc... Great! Everything was so smooth and worry free and all went well. I was very pleased with the changes and upgrades the hospital has made. My family has had to use services at this hospital 4 times (3 surgeries & 1 heart emergency) in the last year and we were treated very well and pleased with all aspects from our first exam to the follow up. A++ Keep up the good work and keep striving for greatness

When greeted at front desk, I was to receive a 'number' (which I did not) and given directions to lab waiting area (which was not the correct area). After several people were called ahead of me, I went to the front desk and asked for a number and was told to sit in a different area of the lobby. When called in, the slightly aloof technician capably drew my blood; however, when preparing a collecti...
