They came out quickly, which was important at the time and they're just easy to work with.

They responded very quickly to my request, which I truly appreciated. I knew my existing battery backup was in bad shape and was not sure how the main sump pump was performing. Pete came out the same day I called to check out the existing pumps, said he would replace the battery backup (now dead), but my main pump was working and I probably would not have to replace it if I did not want to. I opted to replace both at this time because I spent $22,000 on basement waterproofing in 2012 and I was not going to have to contend with a flooded basement. Josh and Joe came the next day and installed the pumps, re-piped discharge lines for both sump pumps, and performed other maintenance. Clean up after job was fantastic. Josh also took the time to show me how I can check to see if both pumps are in good working order in the future. You can always tell a pro in their trade, since they will always share information with a customer and try to help them. Thanks much, Josh. Hofmann's prompt service, great staff, and thorough work performance will certainly make me a repeat customer.

My home inspector recommended I perform a water pressure test on a home that I was purchasing because there was evidence of a leak. A different plumber advised me that they only did this on brand new homes before the walls were finished. The office administrator at Hofmann Plumbing indicated that they do perform water pressure tests on existing homes and when I explained that another plumber indicated it wasn't normally done, she indicated they do them and even checked with the plumber. I was given the timeframe of "afternoon" and they could not be more specific even during that afternoon. I finally got a call at 3:30PM and was told to be ready in less than a half hour at the house (I had to coordinate with my realtor as I do not have possession of the house yet). They were not there until after 4:30PM. When the plumbers arrived, they indicated that this was not something you'd perform on an existing house as it may cause undue pressure on the pipes and that it would only be done if the water had been shut off and drained. They still charged me for the call despite not actually performing any work.

Price-wise was probably just like everybody else charges but they stand by their work. They did a good job for me. They were excellent. I was very happy.

Great. Had to work in very small bathroom: minimal space to access sink plumbing under sink cabinet. But service person had no problems. Very efficient and professional. Answered all questions. Ensured that there were no water leaks or faucet drips before leaving.

They are very pleasant and do good quality work. Their price is either equal to or less expensive than other plumbers.

We have him up whenever we need him. We have him for sump pumps. We have him for plumbing. They usually have two or three different guys that come out here. Each guy has a different specialty. Everyone has been courteous. Everyone has done their job neat and clean. We've used them for years. He said he would be here this afternoon. He will call maybe within a half hour before he comes. Overall, they're an A+. I think the price is the same with everybody else. Every time we have called somebody to work, it's $150 to come into your house. He did all our plumbing in our whole basement. Don called this morning. Within a half hour, they called him back and set up the appointment this afternoon.

I had them to work on a couple of different times here. He did an excellent job. The workers were very professional and very reliable. They were right on time and he also did underground plumbing for me earlier. He was outstanding.

We had a quick response from Pete and when his team came to the house they were courteous and professional. They solved my problem and handled it quickly. We were very pleased with the whole experience and recommend them highly..

The experience has always been good. I've been using them for years. They show up when they are supposed to. They always get the job done. We don’t have to ring them back. They are reliable.

It was excellent - From first call to finish. When you don't know exactly what needs to happen in the a home plumbing situation, there is a level of anxiety, especially with an older home. Rich and Josh were calm and patient which provided me with confidence that everything was going to be all right !! This is my first time using Hofmann Plumbing. They have become my official plumber after today. THANK YOU !!
