Pro Cut Landscape Development

I had a much neglected garden "island" in my backyard that I wanted expanded and edged, as well as putting a sharp edging around all the planting areas in my front yard. I bought the 8-hours of landscaping deal with this as my total goal. Once they were here I talked to them about a future project I wanted done or creating a flower bed at the side of my house extending around to the back corner of my house. In addition to the asthetic benefits, I was hopeful that the additional dirt would help slope moisture away from my basement wall in that one corner. (No water in basement, but white mineral deposit residue on bottom block). Well anyhow, the landscaper said we can do that today. He sent his helper to pick up dirt (which I paid for directly to supplier), he dug out the grass and prepared the area and the whole yard looked great and ready for me to plant my flowers. They worked very hard the whole time they were here, and I was pleased with the results. It's been such a dry year, I don't know if I solved my basement problem, but that's another story. Their landscaping efforts were great!

We were delighted with the service. The man who originally spoke to us was very professional, helpful and knowledgeable. The work was performed and satisfactorily completed in the agreed upon time frame. The work met or exceeded all of the details specified in the coupon offering.

Lots of stops/starts in getting the work scheduled. Got canceled a couple of times, etc. Not easy to get hold of. The quality of the product (mulch, topsoil, dogwood) was very good. The quality of the work was adequate. They underestimated the topsoil I needed and so now I'm stuck with getting some more out here to finish the job. I said above I would use them again, and for the right price I would consider it. I definitely would not pay top dollar.

These exceptionally polite and friendly young men arrived within 5 minutes of their scheduled arrival time, surveyed the job and explained how they would tackle it, and then did a thorough job, including some additional work that was not in the initial scheme of the job. They hauled off all of the weeds and brush and left the place looking great. I will be calling this company in the immediate future to obtain estimates for some further work.

A reasonable experience and we thought the work done for the $100 promotional fee was okay. In the end it was the quote being so much higher than the estimate that stopped us from moving forward.

Pro Cut Landscape sent out an 'A' team to work on clearing brush and weeds that were slowly but surely taking over. The guys were on time - worked efficiently and I got more done with 3 guys in 2 1/2 hours than I thought possible. Meaning... I added on more areas that I wanted to have done but weren't the priority areas and it really looks good! Now I can see the spaces with a fresh eye and can begin to visualize the next steps to having a beautiful yard. Thanks to Paul and his great team!

The two young men from Pro Cut Landscaping arrived at 9:30am ... on time. They performed all the work requested quickly and efficiently. Before they left they asked if there was anything else I needed done. Yes, there was another overgrown lilac bush which needed trimming. They answered any questions I may have had. They were professional in every way. If the need arises in the future I will contact Pro Cut again. My only regret is that I didn't get the names of the two guys who did such great work.

Paul came out to review with us exactly what was going to happen in detail, made good suggestions especially for the evergreens for the front walk area with pictures, and scheduled the timeline for the next 2 weeks. All of their crew, Mike, Mark and Alex were here when they said they would be and were the best workers I have ever had at our home. I was amazed at all that they got done in one day. We asked them to wage war on our gardens and they did. I love the new look.Our patio and front walk are now edged and heavily mulched and look superb. Paul had more ideas for the rest of the gardens and we will have them back to finish the work next Spring along with redressing all of the areas they have done to date. They were courteous and gave me great suggestions for our yard. I wanted things simplified and they did just that. They also used high quality mulch and commercial grade products. They did not cut corners. They kept us informed throughout the whole process for which I am very thankful. I was treated as one of the crew and not a nuisance. They worked very hard to please us and they did. They are our now our landscapers. They continuely said they appreciated our business and we appreciated all of the good work they did for us and our home. A1 business is our rating and we will have them back.

The gentleman that runs the company was very good. I think his name was Paul. He was prompt and he got back to me right away. He called to follow the next day to make sure that everything was to my specifications. They were two things that I thought needed to be reworked and they were out the next day and took care of it without a problem. They were really good.

After purchasing this property I started with a large company, read that as 'expensive', to improve the landscaping. They were great ... and should be for the money, however I needed to find a less expensive alternative for.annual maintenance. I used a retired gentleman one summer who said he knew plants. He puttered all summer bringing in additional help, never got everything done and killed three trees. Then I tried a High School student who needed me to tell him what were weeds versus plants EVERY 20 MINUTES ... FOR TWO MONTHS. This is a bright kid who has done gardening before, but obviously not his strong suit. So I came back to the large companies that know what they are doing. The Pro-cut team was incredible ... hardworking, knowledgable and just great people to work with in general - all of them. Paul has the hard job of telling you what you need in the estimate, but you have to decide on what you can afford. I recommend you get this crew to do the work in a day or two so you can enjoy your yard rather than nickle and diming yourself all summer with anything less.

Following pre-treatments with herbicides, a crew of four was timely in their arrival on the agreed date. They were knowledgeable in what they were doing and hard-working. We had recently moved into a home with landscaping that had been neglected. When the crew left, the landscaping, including tree pruning, looked wonderful. We appreciate the work done by Paul and his crew at Pro Cut.

It went fine. I bought a deal and called them when I was ready.

I was given the personal cell phone number of the supervisor so I could call if I had questions. Because of that I always felt that I was in the loop and knew what was going on. Kudos for that!

Due to current construction at our house, I had to beg off on the installation twice. The company was good to follow up to make sure I didn't forget about them and to see how they could best work around my schedule. Considering this is a prepaid service, I was impressed. They updated me on the scheduled day to let me know how their schedule was running. After this experience, I don't ever plan to do my own mulching again. Pro Cut has my business for as many seasons as I can get them!

They came promptly, blew the mulch carefully and just where I wanted it and did an immaculate cleanup job. I will definitely call them again.

As above, the guys were pleasant and polite. Scheduling was easy. I was not impressed with the overall work.

I sent out a request for quote to several landscaping companies. Pro Cut responded to my inquiry within 24 hours of my e-mail. We scheduled an appointment for them to come out and look over the project. I knew I wanted a change, but I was not sure exactly what I wanted. We looked over the yard, and then he sat down with me to form a plan. At this time he came up with a design and showed me options for plants (all I knew for sure is that I wanted Hydrangea's). He came up with a mix of several different styles of hydrangea's along with several liac bushes, junipers and a couple dwarf trees. He then marked the yard so I could see what the design for the new flower beds would be. About 2 days later he e-mailed me an estimate. I felt the price was very reasonable so I decided to go with them. The project was scheduled within 2 weeks of accepting the proposal. I was told they would be there between 9am to 10am. The crew arrived at 9:10am. There were 4 of them and they were very polite and worked quickly - I thought it would take them all day, but they completed in less than 4 hours. They did a terrific job and cleaned up after themselves. The also gave me a few tips on how to care for my plants.

We were really happy with him. The design turned out great. He did a good job. He came on time and I would highly recommend him. He returned all our calls and did everything he said he would do.

The team was very professional and very quick and cleaned up after installation. Overall nothing but thumbs up for this business. I would do business with them in a heartbeat.

Overall , I am really pleased with the quality of the mulch and the installation. I purchased the big deal for 5 yds installed at $165; but I needed and additional 7 yds to complete my landscape. These additional amounts were $55/yd installed, which was pretty pricey. After one reschedule (truck broke down), two guys showed up the next day at 9am. They knocked off the job in about three hours - which means they worked fast. Job looks great.I would use them again, however, the price would lead me to look elsewhere, especially around home. If I had only 5 yds to install, I would definitely get the big deal; but as it stands this is not a deal for me.

I had to wait quite a while to get the service done by them. Apart from that they did a very good job.

Since I wasn't in a great hurry, their response was within a reasonable timeframe. Paul came out, did the estimate, gave me great recommendations/suggestions. Once I accepted the estimate, which was basically agreed upon at the initial yard walk-through, the work was scheduled and done on time.

It was very good. It was a Big Deal so I had to wait a while but other than that it was just wonderful.
