Donley Complete Tree Care

I requested an estimate to have tree trimmed and gutters cleaned. The estimate was very reasonable. He had also recommended a treatment for the tree to prevent disease which was expensive I did not want. Because I did not want to do the treatment, he was "unavailable" to do the other work and I did not use this company. Other than that, he was very responsive to phone calls and emails. I don't know if I would ever use them in the future though.

Mike and his crew were professional, punctual, and neat. I was pleased with the work from start to finish.

Really quality eye for tree trimming, etc.

At our request Mike Donley came out and gave us suggestions for redoing a flower bed in the front of our house and one in the back yard. We also asked that he trim a dwarf lilac bush that was totally out of control and needed a drastic pruning. With his suggestions in mind we purchased the plants necessary and contacted Mr. Donley. He came out with a 2 man crew and, after consulting with us on the arrangements for both beds, his men planted the beds and he worked on the lilac bush. The plantings also incorporated plants that were already there. When they were done, they mulched all the planted areas around our house and cleaned up all the debris. It took them about 2 hours and our flower beds and yard are looking great. Before leaving Mr. Donley told us how to care for the plantings and we discussed his return next spring to monitor their progress. However, we know that we can call him anytime if there is a problem. We had Mr. Donley plant a tree and some bushes for us a couple of years ago so knew that he was reliable and would do an excellent job.

They seemed very good. We were pleased with what they did. I've had other tree trimmers out here that left a lot of mess in the yard. They cleaned up everything very nice. Everything was gone, they cleaned up everything.They were a bit higher in price then some of them.

I thought that they were excellent. They took the tree down and cleaned up the area. I didn?t have any problem with them and would use them again. Their price was average.

The estimate Mike gave was significantly below that of the other company we talked to. Work was performed with a week or two. They did a great job of cleaning up everything when they left. This week, Mike stopped by at my request to check out a tree that looked like it had been bored into by some type of animal. He checked it out, researched it at home, and came to the conclusion that the holes were not damaging to the tree. I was impressed that he didn't feel the need to recommend work that wasn't necessary.

They came out and did an assessment of what needed to be done. They had to follow up on some work that they did, but it was a while before they got back to us. We were satisfied with their work, though. Our trees are in good condition.

We had some Siberian Elms that can be tricky to keep looking decent and we had all kinds of damage after the ice storm. I like that he knew what he was doing.

He provided very good service and reasonable prices. They also gave good advice on what to do with other trees I have.

He was very knowledgeable. I asked him about some trees that I have along the street line that looked like they were getting some brown leaves on them. He said there was something that was infecting that kind of tree, and there was really nothing you could do about it. He gave me some good advice on trees, even if I wouldn't have hired them. He said there was a tree in the front of the house that had a bug, he treated it to get rid of the bugs. He knew what he was talking about. The overall experience was very good. The work was excellent! He cleaned up everything. He ground up the stumps and spread some of the chips in the backyard where I wanted them. I would have hoped he would have cleaned out the dead wood under the tree, but I guess that is something that you would have to specifically ask them. They trimmed one side of the tree, but then when I went around to the other side it wasn't trimmed. They did fix it once I mentioned it.

Everything turned out wonderfully. They were able to schedule us in the busy season right before the holidays, which we really appreciated. They were very prompt and very careful not to hit our hidden fence or underground utilities. They took the necessary precautions and did a great job. I was very happy with them and would definitely use them again.

They were great. They charged the price that they said it would be. The guy, who came out, was a good arborist. I?ll hire him again, if needed.

The owner came out and was very professional and gave me a great price. I am going to use them next Spring.

This company was very professional and took great care not to damage our lawn or landscaping. They cleaned up everything and left our yard looking as well or better than it did before.

Mike Donley and his crew did a great job. Great communication via email with Mike personally throughout the whole process of estimate, bid, scheduling and work. My home is in Clintonville south of N. Broadway, so space was tight for the work, but there was no damage to my or either of my neighbors' houses, landscaping or anything else- and one of the medium-sized trees was within three feet of the corner of our house! Mike took the time to explain the work and his recommendations and did exactly as he said he would. AAA+++ Highly recommended!

A large branch had gone sideways in a windstorm and was still attached to the tree. I needed someone who could climb the tree and take care of it. He did the work and had cleaned up after himself. He also did some pruning for me. I felt Donley Complete Tree Care was reasonably priced.

They were prompt and they did exactly as I said. I give them all A?s for their service. I would use them again in the future.

He seemed very knowledgeable, competent and efficient. We thought that the price was pretty good for what he did and he did a very good job. He removed a couple of trees that involved grinding up of stumps which he did very thoroughly. He planted a couple of trees in different spots and overall we were very pleased with him. We would use him again in future if needed.

He sent out some guys here who really messed up the top of my trees. They didn't know what they were doing and did not do a good job on the trees. He came back and redid everything, but, what was cut was already cut. So, I was not that impressed with them.

His estimate was quite reasonable, but their survey of the property was not as thorough and complete as it could have been. The provider I ended up going with pointed out limbs I had not notice, and even offered to speak with my neighbor about some branches extending over my property. I was happy with Donley, however, and I would certainly consider using them in the future.

From initial contact (email) to estimate was less than a week, and from estimate to work done was only two days! Mike and his crew are very skilled and handled tricky high work (a large, long branch, almost a mini-trunk) very professionally, not disturbing the neighbor's trees. As part of the cleanup, they even raked up leaves on our sidewalk and driveway that had already been there when they arrived.

Mike offered to trim tree around edges which he did because now the tree looks like it is growing straight instead outward. Also put slow growth chemical around roots of tree to slow growth by 50%. I purchased 4 shrubs at nursery and he planted them for free exactly right where requested. All of this was done during the day on Monday so when I returned home from work front yard looked nicer, more sun and new shubs.

Mike and his team did an EXCEPTIONAL job. I could tell safety of people, and care of property were top priorities. Mike is personable, professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. They cleaned up my yard such that it looked better after they were done than it did before they got there. Also, I got five estimates from tree removal companies to take down that tree. Mike's estimate was second lowest but the company with the lowest price turned out not to have insurance so obviously I went with Mike. After seeing all it took in terms of time and equipment to take down my tree, I felt like I got an extremely fair and low price. I'd recommend Mike to everyone. He and his team did a fantastic job. I couldn't come up with a complaint if I tried.

The tree removal went exactly as planned. The two person crew started at about 1:00PM and were done around 5:00PM. I
