First, I'm glad I had it done. Second, it was surprisingly expensive. My dryer vent is a short distance to the outside. I was not prepared for what it would cost, it was about $100 more than I would have expected, and that was even after the price was negotiated down by another $100. Third, I was surprised also that there was no offer to wear a mask to ensure safety.

This was the second time I have called Dryer Vent Wizard. Making the appointment was easy. The technician, Rich, arrived on time, was very polite and well-spoken. He told me exactly what he needed to do and why. He did the work quietly and efficiently and tidied up after himself when done. The length of time it took my dryer to dry a load of clothes was noticeably shorter afterwards. Dryer Vent Wizard is permanently in my book of service companies that I will use again. I have had a week of battling with other companies' who show up late, don't do the work properly, and leave with tools they have borrowed from me, or just don't show up at all. What a pleasure it is to work with a reliable company like Dryer Vent Wizard!

It went excellent. He was on time and performed the work very professionally and corrected a couple of extra issues that corrected the way the dryer was venting and did not charge more. He was careful with home and cleaned when he was finished I would recommend this company to anyone needing their dryer vent cleaned.

Service tech was Justin Bonnell. He was punctual, courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. I'm happy with the new istallation because I know it meets building codes and is safe. Price is a bit steep, but safety is more important. The entire job took only an hour.

Deceptive, overpriced and dirty! Try to sell you everything under the sun and over charge. We made it clear that we only wanted the vent cleaned and we wanted a quote before they came because we didn't want to pay $49 just to get the quote. They called and said it would be between $105 and $150. They came and tried to sell us on 5 other services which we turned down so then they charged the highest quote of $150 and still charged the service fee of $49 on top of that when we specifically said we did not agree to that before they came. $200 for less than 30 minutes and on top of that they left behind a mess.

"I am sorry this customer felt pressured to do anything at all. Because we are certified to do dryer vents we always come out and MUST give the customer all of the details of issues that exist and the cost for remedies. If the customer chooses not to select any of the repair items we are always fine with that but we can then show proof that we have been thorough and complete in our assessment if there is an incident arising out of the inadequate venting. We never apply pressure to buy. Also, it is very much out of character for us not to clean up any kind of "mess" that we made - so a quick call to our office could have remedied that issue at no extra charge. Again, I apologize for this misunderstanding but we don't do business as described here....... I am following up with the technican involved so we can learn and correct any issues on our end......
