K & D Painting

We have hired Bill for a few jobs. We are happy with the quality of his work. Bill is professional, clean, excellent workmanship, and shows up on time. Highly recommend this company.

I hired K&D to paint several rooms (living room/ kitchen/ 2 bedrooms and a bathroom). They did an outstanding job from start to finish. They were prompt at returning my call - gave me a same day estimate (that was better than a few competitors), helped me pick out the right paint, not only the color, but brand quality, but most importantly, they were quick & efficient with the highest regard for quality. The edges, seams and trim work are flawless and in this day and age it’s hard to come by painters who take pride in their work and have been in their craft for many years - it shows. Going forward I will only use these guys and I’ve recommend them to several friends and family, and they all agree that they’re the best painters they’ve ever worked with. I can’t say enough good things. If you’re looking for quality - K&D is it.

Bill came out on the weekend and gave a quote. I thought the price was good. He did a good job in one day by himself.

Bill did two jobs for us. He painted our guest bedroom and our dining room. He has several strengths. He was clear in his communications regarding estimates, arrival time, and while working. He is a true professional when on the job. He is quiet, cleans up at the end of the day, and delivers on what he promises. His painting skills are top notch and it shows in the end product. He pays close attention to small details, makes sure that all the lines are sharp, and corrects flaws in the walls and trim. The rooms he painted for us look great!

One task that I hired Bill for was to remove wallpaper and paint a bathroom and the other was to patch a living room ceiling. On both jobs Bill did good work, Bill was pleasant and knowledgeable. He gave good estimates and patiently answered my questions. He gave me target dates and times and kept them. He kept me informed. He put down drop cloths on the access floors. The work was high quality. He left the work areas clean. I was very pleased with the quality of his work and his service.

We needed a reliable painter for a big job. We found Bill on Angie’s List. He painted the entire interior of our house including living room, dining room, kitchen, two bedrooms, hallway and bathroom. He also painted our sunroom and our basement walls and floors. He did an outstanding job! We were satisfied with his fee and greatly appreciated his professionalism. He kept us informed, coordinated with us on some other work we were having done, and was always prompt and neat. He deserves an A plus rating!

Bill is very professional and his team is really good at the services they offer. Bill visiting to survey the property and provided a very competitive estimate. He communicated and set the expectations very clearly of what to expect during the paint job. On the day he met and went over what he planned to do. He repaired all the patches and holes in the walls. The paint job was flawless and of top-notch quality. After the work was completed he made sure to clean up and ensured that we are happy with the end result. Highly recommend him for any painting needs you may have.

Very well. We had a roof leak and we needed to get the drywall repair and the room repainted. I feel like he was in and out very quickly. He got there about 8:30 and was done by 2:30. He did a quality job. He works very quickly and efficiently. He was on time and professional. I would definitely use him again.

I would give higher than 5 stars if I could. The walls look perfect. Bill did an outstanding job in painting the walls and prepping another area of wall for wallpaper. He was punctual and professional in addressing any concerns that I had. At the end of the day he was very meticulous in cleaning up the entire area. I will definitely be calling Bill for any future projects that I might have.

Very well! After a few weeks, still looks great. The 2 colors had to be kept separate on the wall which was done very well. Scheduling was quick and easy, too.

The work went very well and was done on time. Bill made all repairs and painted the whole interior. Bill is my choice for painting in the Cleveland area.

Bill did a very nice job painting my upstairs and downstairs walls. He also painted and touched up trim in some rooms. He made sure that enough coats were applied to cover the previous colors (especially critical in going from dark green to white), and patched drywall before painting. He was very responsive via text message, clearly communicated any changes in pricing compared to what was quoted, and adapted to last minute color changes on my part. Would hire again.

Great! Bill responded quickly to my request, gave estimate and worked with me to set work date. Flexible, came on time and worked to complete job in one day. This involved moving heavy furniture to lawn, scrape, fill and sand porch then two coats paint. He came back next day and moved the furniture back. Porch looks so much better! He plans to do some interior painting later this year.

Bill and Eric did a terrific job! They were very courteous. The work they did was very neat and precise. They did an excellent job cleaning up and finished in a timely manner. We would certainly keep them in mind for any other work.

Bill Karban (K & D Painting) painted the railings and trim on the stairway from the foyer to the second floor of our colonial style house. We had dark brown woodwork and had it repainted white. It took two days because of the priming and the top coat each needing two to three coats. It was very tedious work to do, but Bill did a tremendous job. It looks fabulous and has transformed the look of the entrance into our house leading upstairs. We are very pleased with the results. Bill is highly skilled and experienced. He is excellent at what he does! I highly recommend Bill Karban of K & D Painting.

The work was done quickly and neatly. Bill arrived on time and worked hard to complete the job as quickly as possible. The ceiling repair turned out great. The painting was done well. All of the patched areas, large and small, were done professionally. This was all done at a competitive price with high quality so am very pleased . I would hire Bill again.

Excellent outcome. Could not have gone better, everything Bill said he'd do, he did. The rooms, ceilings, doors, window frames and cabinets he painted came out perfect. You can absolutely tell that a professional painter did this work. Also, the cost was quite reasonable.
