Peru's Tree Service

Took down trees; ground stumps. Very professional and great communication. Came when they said they would and efficiently went to work and got it done.

They efficiently topped the trees, downed the trunks, and ground the stumps. They worked in a safe manner and were constantly cleaning up. When they left, all that was left was ruts from the large pieces falling and a bit of the stump grindings. He left the yard just as he said he would. They were done and loaded by 5:30.

We had 3 different companies give estimates for this service. They were the first to come out and were by far the most affordable. The were very professional and quick.

Jesus and his crew actually came ahead of schedule, completely prepared with a fleet of equipment, and took care of the awful mess left by the original contractor I hired - Top Notch Patios. Top Notch had felled the 50-60 foot tree properly, moved most of the brush and smaller branches into a huge pile in the front yard for subsequent chipping and clean up - then disappeared. Then they demanded more money to come back - contrary to a written contract. But this is about Peru's excellent service.... Jesus and his crew had the job done in about 6 hours, raked the lawn clean, and I rated the Quality a "B" instead of an "A" only due to remaining ruts left in the yard from his equipment - and that may have been unavoidable due to the narrow gate to the back yard they had to use. Overall, I was very happy with his crew and the completed job. They were polite and respectful, and even asked me to move a car into the garage to prevent any inadvertent scratches or damage from moving the tree debris. Peru's will be the first company I call for any tree work - definitely recommended!

I purchased this deal in May here it is October and I still can't get my stump removed. They originally told me it would be August when they could do the work and I said that was fine. From then on every time I called them to see if when they could come out they said it would be a couple weeks. I have decided to get a refund and go a different way.

Jesus is very knowledgeable and work hands-on up in the tree. His top assistant is responsive and helpful as well. They direct a crew of about 2-3 others on the site. A separate person came out to grind the stump. He was very thorough. We were happy with the work and it went as expected.

The crew showed up on time and worked as scheduled. They way over-estimated how much they could complete in 8 hours. The crew used our front concrete porch to repair their tools, leaving oil stains there when they left. A lot of time seemed to be taken up on chainsaw repair. The owner showed up towards the end of the day and offered to come back, but wanted to charge us more than double in addition, to what we already paid. We did not schedule them to come back.

The provider did not respond to the message I sent via Angie's List. This is unfortunate because I used Peru's Tree Service approximately five years ago and I was pleased with their service. Perhaps they do not check Angie's List for their messages.

Called provider several, talked to Ethan twice in an attempt to obtain an estimate for tree and shrub services. After 5 separate conversations with provider staff I with no response with an estimate or an estimate when the $ estimate could be provided, I elected to seek another provider. "Excellent" service ratings have to be suspect when calls are not done in reasonable time frame despite promises by provider personnel. I did not use provider for service. In order to provide benefit of doubt on lack of response of provider, I sent a followup message through Angies list on 8/13/15. As of 414PM 8/21/15 I have still not had a response. My initial review stands as reported.

The service worked out pretty good and in fact, I have recommended them to couple other people. I paid a total of $321. I like that they were prompt in giving me an estimate and they were prompt in the work that was done. They did what they needed and everything I asked.

it went great. The estimator came, gave me the cost and approximate date for removal. We discussed stump removal and he was willing but it was in a tight spot and would have affected the rest of the landscaping. We decided against it. The tree was removed with very little stump remaining. very little affect on surrounding plantings although it was in a very tight spot.

Crew arrived on time as promised. Got straight to work. Very polite. Trimmed trees and removed all branches and debris. Areas raked and all looks good.

The original company finally showed up mid-afternoon. When I called to cancel my appointment with the gentleman from Peru, he was very understanding and professional. I will definitely give them a call the next time I need work done on my trees.

I called them and they came the next day. He was on time. He stayed and watched the try while his crew came which was only about 30 minutes after he arrived. They got it down today.They are professional. Top notch! I am so impressed. I know if the tree was still up and we got the storms we were supposed to it would have fallen into my house. The removal charge was reasonable.

They removed the two dead Ash trees and trimmed a Maple tree for me. Very professional and spent six hours working on the project. After they were finished up I learned that the agreed upon price did not include gathering up and removing the wood chips. To remove the wood chips would incur an additional charge. I decided on the spot that I was not paying anymore money and that this should have been included in the price I was quoted. True I did not ask about the removal of the chips before hand but it never came to mind that it wouldn't be. I now have to contend with getting rid of a very large amount of wood chips..

They did not want to cut that parts of the tree that we were wanting cut due to that they think it is harming the tree.

Peru's Tree service was wonderful. They were prompt, and professional. I had 5 trees removed and one trimmed, all of which were tricky to access and in rough shape. They did a great job safely removing all of the trees, and I would highly recommend them to anyone. It's refreshing to see a business who cares so much about their clients needs and safety.

Could not do the project due to the extra costs.

They did very well. I have no negatives to say about them. They were on time, fast and did good work.

It was a good experience. They did a good job cleaning up. They removed everything initially and then came back two days later and removed stumps. What I do remember is they did a good job. It was reasonably priced. I would hire them again. It was really a good experience. As I remember in getting estimates, they were neither the most expensive nor the cheapest. I do not remember having any problems with them. If I'm looking to cut down another tree, I would give them a call and get an estimate for sure.

The service was fine. The cost was like close to $350 and then maybe, I had a hundred dollars from Angie’s List. I was not there when they actually came and did the work, but I met them beforehand and told them what needed to be done. When I got home from work, it was all done and cleaned up. Everything was taken care of. I would think that they were pretty much on time and they seemed knowledgeable enough. They showed up for the appointment when I talked to them about things. I would definitely recommend them.

They were excellent. They arrived on time and on the day they stated. They cleaned everything up afterwards. Fantastic service.

The work was great. They cleaned up when they left. You couldn't even tell they had been there other than the fact that we had no tree left. I would tell a friend that they do quality work and I have recommended them in the past.
