Lowe's Air Duct Cleaning

They arrived a little late, but called to let me know they would be late. Surveyed the HVAC situation and quickly went to work. Service was performed as advertised. It was obvious they had done the job when I changed the HVAC filter as they recommended. It was full of all of the dreck they had knocked out of the system.

Very pleasant and active technician who explained all the steps he would take and answered questions. Carefully brought his vacuum equipment into the basement and deployed compressed air hose as needed. Moved briskly through the house and worked carefully throughout. Removed and cleaned each register then inserted air-driven flail-like device to loosen and vacuum all the dust. Proceeded methodically until all ducts and registers were vacuumed, At homeowners request completed the sanitation service he offered and recommended.

They could have done more of a thorough cleaning. The employees were nice.

Technician called in advance to let me know the exact time he would be in the house. He was respective of the house. courteous, explained what would do and vacuumed after he finished with the cleaning. He also suggested few improvements and took time to explain them. My only concern about the whole process was making a hole in the main duct in order to attach the vacuum. Didn't have time to make research on this method of cleaning but "destroying" a good vent and then patching it is not an productive way of doing things from my point of view.

The employee was great, on time, professional, knowledgeable, however... After he left that afternoon the house began to warm pretty significantly. I inspected the vents that the faces were taken off and cleaned and on about half of the house the duct was off and completely loose blowing cold air into the floors, walls, and ceilings. I was able to reattach the ducts to the vents and vent covers. This was pretty minor of a problem and for the price you pay for what you get. If you want to save money on your duct cleaning use this company, just remember to go around and check that all the duct lines are attached to the vent covers before he leaves your house.

Our technician was Constantine. He called that morning to let me know his estimated time of arrival, and was there exactly on time. He was very professional and clearly had a lot of experience in his field. I wasn't sure when I made the appointment if I was also going to get the upstairs ducts cleaned. I decided not to, and Constantine did not try to pressure me at all to change my mind, which I really appreciated. He also let me see the live video of what the dryer duct looked like after cleaning, which I requested because it had been so clogged that the dryer had stopped working (that was a separate problem that was fixed by the dryer repairman, and he was the one who told us we had better get the dryer duct cleaned). I ended up upgrading to a metal connecting tube from the standard foil one that came with the dryer. Again, no pressure from Constantine to buy it. He cleaned up any stray dust/lint and also moved back anything that he had to move in order to gain access to vents and the back of the dryer. Great job!

The cleaning went well. The price was about average. They worked very quickly and they got the vent very clean. Scheduling was easy, too. I would use them again but I'll also be pricing around.

Bought a big deal. It was great. Saved at least $100 compared to other duct cleaners. The service guy was very nice and professional. Worked hard and got my ducts clean in advance of some duct sealing (Aeroseal).

Went well with the services performed quickly. The only hiccup was the timing, we were given a two-hour window for their arrival and - wouldn't you know it - they arrived early.

I thought this was a great deal. The provider was careful and attentive in scheduling the work and in completing the work.

The original appointment was set for the evening of May 22, 2014. Due to severe weather and tornado warnings in the area, the job was postponed. The young man returned 10 days later (on his day off) to complete the job. The man was very pleasant and courteous. He explained in detail just what he was going to do. The job was completed quickly and with little disruption to my household.

Fine as far as I can tell. I hired them to do work on a rental property, so I was not there during the work. I am basing my grades on the tenants comments.

Great job! Thorough. The ducts in our new-to-us home had collected a lot of debris from the previous owner and were in desperate need of cleaning. I checked some of the vents and instead of the old debris, it is clean and clear.

Called 30 min. before arrival; Arrived on time; removed shoes, identified my vents throughout my house; Removed and replaced vent covers throughout home; Cut out furnace and used vacuum equipment to vacuum out air ducts; repaired furnace cut out Cleaned up after process; Entire job was about 2 hours.

Only used pressurized air on the vents. Not sure how effective it was up through the supply ducting. Used an agitator on the supplies and did a good job. Tech had a cancellation and called to see if he could come early. Very professional and seemed to do a good job.
