STOP & LOCK

I rented a locker to store some of my things along with my ex husbands when he had a stroke. The contract was in MY name only with no reference to anyone else, no POA, nothing. His cousin appeared at the storage unit with POA papers and they violated the contract and cut my lock off. Ex husbands attorney said they have no right to do this since the contract is in my name only. They told me that they would not open unit without a court order. They did just that and when I call them the office manager hangs up on me and the owners will not return phone calls. I am not willing to hire a lawyer to get a few tables etc. but there are some collectibles he wants our kids to have. He has left me in charge of his funeral arrangements, living will etc. etc. They will hear from me when he passes and settles his estate. DON"T rent here. They are unprofessional and don't know how to enforce their own contracts.
