THE HELMRICH GROUP

He was the worst. It was horrible. I wanted to expand my floor and thought he could do the job. He wanted more money after we had settled on a price. He took months and months to do the work. He used cheaper materials. He wouldn't return my calls. I had to have other people come in and finish some of the detail work. I would not ever use him again.

I could share a variety of negative facets of The Helmrich group work in particular Steve Helmrich and his lack of commitment to customer service. He misrepresented the source and cost of materials, it took nearly two months to complete a tremendously simple hardwood installation in a 12 x 20 ft. room, he prioritized other projects over mine either at the time or after committing to work on my home, he tried to extract additional money from me based upon misrepresentation and incompetence (failure to measure the room correctly, which I refused to pay. Steve Helmrich offered a pattern of broken appointments and delay. The experience was unbearable. Repeated efforts to contact him were met with screened calls and no direct access. He hid behind voicemail messages and email. He responded to the trust I placed in him with behaviors that bordered on unethical and opportunistic. The relationship was disastrous and no person, no family should experience what I went through.
