Got a remote start installed and the service was awesome - professional, friendly and the staff went above and beyond. Now me and my little ones will be able to get into a warm car this winter. I highly recommend this place!

I've long planned on replacing the dash and back deck speakers on my '99 Boxster and when the door woofers started buzzing I finally had to take it somewhere.  I chose Sound Investments at their Oakland Park Drive store to talk about the problems and get a solution that wouldn't be too outrageous.  They clearly do a lot of remote starters and the fancy high-end stereos, and I wanted a solution that wouldn't change the look of the vehicle and yet would sound better.  The project was scoped, a price of around $530 was agreed to and an appointment made later that week.   When they started working, it turned out that the woofers were of an unusual 2-ohm rating and Darrell said he didn't have anything to replace them in that size.  His suggestion was to take them to a nearby speaker repair shop which I did.  He then completed everything else except for the woofers and since I didn't replace them as planned, the price was considerably less.  Two weeks later the woofers were repaired good as new with new surrounds and I took it back to Sound Investment and they quickly installed them.  I'm quite happy with what I got as the sound is so much better than it's ever been and you'd never know that I have better aftermarket speakers in the car.

Very helpful in explaining details of the various options I had and price. They seem well organized and intent on making the customer happy with their product & work.

When I called for an estimate, they told me I would need an additional (costly) converter because of the type of vehicle I have. I brought my vehicle in for the installation, and when I returned to pick it up, I was pleased to learn that they didn't need to include that converter, saving me half the cost I originally thought I would be spending. They could have said they included it, and I would not have known the difference. I appreciate their honesty and professionalism.

Excellent price for installation of remote starter!! Took approximately 1.5 hours to install. It's better to drop the vehicle off at the store, since there really isn't a waiting area. I'd use this company again due to the great price.
