CAR CARE OF REYNOLDSBURG

I've being relying on Mike and his crew to take care of my cars for over ten years now, and I've never been disappointed. My knowledge of the internal workings of cars is strictly at a layman's level, so it's really important for me to be able to trust my mechanic to not only take good care of my car, but also to not upsell me on work that doesn't really need to be done. Over the years, these guys have earned that trust, time and again. I've lost track of the number of times I was worried I was in for a major repair cost, only to find out it wasn't so bad after all. A few more expensive repairs have been necessary from time to time, as they are with any car eventually, but even then it was clear that they were doing all they could to keep the cost down without cutting corners. Their work is first-rate - whenever they've fixed a problem on my car, it has stayed fixed.

My experiences with this auto shop have been great throughout my 10yrs of working with them.

I was hearing a terrible noise coming from under my GMC Envoy while driving, getting worse when turning corners. i thought it was a wheel bearing and to confirm my suspicions I took it to Car Care of Reynoldsburg. They took the vehicle for a test drive to determine the problem. Once they were back they said it was in fact a bad wheel bearing but because of the noise could not say for sure if the right wheel bearing was bad. They put it up on the lift and determinded that the right side was good. They also told me that the rotor was warped because of the bad wheel bearing. I told them that I had just replaced the rotors and brake pads on both sides just a few months ago. They explained to me what I needed to do to get a new rotor under warranty.
I then made arrangements to have the wheel bearing replaced along with the warped rotor. I bought a thermostat several months ago because my Envoy was not getting up to operating temperature. The only damage I was getting was a decrease in gas mileage. They offered to replaced the thermostat for me and did.

We have been really satisfied with them they have been very fair with us. They drove us to where we needed to go as well during the service.

the reason this was so expensive is that if was very hard to get to.

Toyota wanted to charge me around $400 to replace the charcoal canister in the exhaust system when the light on my dash came on. These guys said that it could be an erroneous light. They reset the switch and said that if it really needs to be replaced, the light will come on again in a day or two. He said even then, it won't hurt the car if I don't replace the cannister. Well, it's been 6 months and the light hasn't come back on. I saved $365 from what the Toyota dealer was charging.

They are wonderful! Mike and Abe are both excellent! We have used them on several occasions and would highly recommend them to others. They are the only auto service that we use.

Car Care diagnosed the problem and repaired the day of the appointment. They called to discuss what they found and the cost to repair. After we OKed the repair, the repair was done and we were able to pick up our car later that day. I'm a happy camper as the they say.

I used to take my car to a service center and they closed down. After sometime I got to know that a worker there had started a new service center called Car Care Of Reynolds burg, so I decided to go back to them. The only problem is that they are not as convenient as they used to be. I am totally happy with them.

I wasn't overcharged and the work was done within a couple hours.

We have been using them for about 6 months now. We have been very happy with the service. I think the prices are reasonable, and they don't seem to suggest additional things to jack up the prices.

THEY DID EXCELLENT WORK. CALLED MIKE THE DAY BEFORE AND HE HAD THE BATTERY THE NEXT DAY AND INSTALLED IN NO TIME. GREAT PEOPLE TO HAVE TO PEFORM MAINTenance ON YOUR CARS.

The work was done promptly and at a reasonable price.

They are still very nice people are very prompt but they just didn't have the skill level needed to fix two of our vehicles. My son had problems with the a/c in his vehicle and ended up having to return it 3 times but the matter still wasn't resolved. My vehicle started leaking and I had to take it back to them multiple times myself but they weren't able to resolve the situation either. My other son took his vehicle to them to be serviced and when he got it back, the door handle on the driver's side was broken and it wouldn't unlock and they didn't know how to fix it. We ended up taking the vehicle to another auto service who fixed the problems in a few hours. We never did go back to Car Care after that or even ask them to pay for the repair. We would not use them again.

They've saved us 100's of dollars.

EXCELLENT SERVICE, THIS BATTERY IS DIFFICULT TO REPLACE IN A 2003 MONTANA. THE BRAKES WERE HALF WORN WITH A LOT OF PAD SURFACE LEFT. THE EMERGENCY BRAKE WAS DIFFICULT TO ADJUST ALSO. MIKE AND HIS STAFF ARE TRUE PROFESSIONALS AND WILL NOT RIP YOU OFF. MUCH BETTER THAN GOING TO A DEALER FOR REPAIRS.

They are real good. I just had my truck serviced there not to long ago and they do a good job.
