Precision Overhead Garage Door

Door was askew and would not close. Came out the next day. After inspection, discussed what was needed. Took about 1 1/2 hours to complete. Even programmed the opener option in my newer car.

It went very well. The installer was there about 3 1/2 hours. I have an oversize door so it have taken a bit longer. He was very pleasant, cleaned everything up. I would definitely recommend them. I'm very pleased with the door.

garage door (which is prox. 20 yrs. old) at our home was not going up and down properly and was making VERY loud noises when it did go up and down. looked on Angies list for possible repair companies in our area. Called Precision Door and they were able to come that very day Jason, the serviceman that arrived was very personable ,knowledgeable and efficient. He did do the minimum repair that I requested, but he also recommended other options to improve the operation of the door since it is older. I was very happy with the quick response and the knowledge and efficiency of the service personnel, Jason I would definitely call Precision Door again and would recommend them to others.

It went okay. I don't know if we actually needed the rollers or not but I still have them. I do have some squeaks on the garage door; however, the secondary door is okay. The guy that carried it out was efficient and professional. The service was courteous and he did it promptly.

It went fantastic. I called and we made a next morning appointment. They called when they were on their way. Arrived on time. The service staff at Precision are all brilliantly friendly, well educated in what they're doing and conscientious. He worked up the price and explained everything to me before he began. I approved and he went right to work. Finished up quickly, cleaned up and was on his way. Since then the company was back out for a quick issue with my other door (an older one) and again, brilliantly friendly, caring and professional. Love this company.

This is my first time using this company they were great. They took care of my garage door and it worked perfectly afterwards and they came right away to make an appointment. They're very prompt and they came exactly at the appointment time. They didn't try to sell me stuff I didn't need or anything like that. They were there within like the next day or something after I purchase the "Big Deal". They provided me an great service and didn't charge me extra.

I was able to talk to an actual person who scheduled me for Saturday AM. The repairman, Jason, was excellent: explained all the damage, pointed it out, and explained the needed repairs. I am very grateful and appreciative of the thoroughness and quality of his work.

This review is for my daughter's service with this company. I referred Precision to her after my positive experience with them a year ago. Her old, malfunctioning garage doors were not working on a regular basis. Every now and then, they would respond to the remote, but not reliably. So, both garage doors were left open most of the time, which didn't seem like a safe situation to me. The technician came to her house at 5:30 PM. My daughter expected only an evaluation of the problem and an estimate at this time of day. She did get the evaluation and estimate, but they were also ready to proceed with the repair right then. The technician explained where and why the openers were broken or nearly worn out. At no time did he attempt to sell her new openers - he was willing to fix the ones she had. The repairs necessary included new pulleys, adjusting the range of motion for the doors, and other easily replaceable parts. She opted to add new springs and new cable tie downs for the doors, as well. What was most important, however, was that the technician showed her how very dangerous one door opener was. The ceiling mount in the garage had pulled away from the wooden ceiling; the motor was hanging down and could have dropped on her or on the car at any time. He spend quite a bit of time repairing the way the opener was mounted in order to make it secure. I feel like two unsafe situations were dealt with: having to leave the garage doors open all the time and having the motor precariously hanging from the ceiling. I appreciate the quick response to her predicament.

Replaced rollers on garage door and inspected. Unfortunately , shortly after the service the rollers have begun to make loud noises... as if inadequately adjusted.

The technician was on-time, performed the inspection, oiled the garage door and answered my questions.

Overall, I'm pleased with the services rendered. I was a little disappointed about the lifetime warranty confusion, but would recommend this company as they were prepared, friendly and fixed the door as promised.

When he came out, he looked at my garage and immediately got out the iPad to show me samples, etc. I was not impressed. The tech quoted me an ASTRONOMICAL price for a simple, single car garage. The door and labor was more than $1,300. This did not include replacing the dented and rusted trim. The tech said the company could not do that, but knew a few 'buddies' he could refer me to if I wanted the trim replaced. I asked the tech why his quote was more than twice as much as other quotes, for the exact same brand of doors. The tech said the company offered a lifetime warranty for parts, etc. He then went on to bash other garage door brands (Wayne Dalton, Heritage), etc. Needless to say, I told the tech that price was way too high in comparison to other quotes. I decided to go with Genie of Fairview for the same Amarr brand door, plus they would include the trimwork and warranty!

Precision Overhead Garage Door did more than I thought. I got more than I asked for and I strictly would recommend them.

The technician was on time and as far as I can tell, did a good job. I felt a little pressured to buy the additional service that day, but once I agreed, he went right to work and got it done quickly. The technician was extremely talkative and I probably learned more about his personal life than I wanted. I had confidence in his knowledge and skills.

They did a good job. They did maintain it which was the agreement. He changed the rollers out for me. The garage door is working just fine now.

Very impressed with this company from start to finish. We purchased our Angies List special and provided the coupon code when we called Precision. Shortly after scheduling the service (same day) we received an e-mail confirming the details of our service call, including the name and photo of our technician. WOW! The technician called 15 minutes before arriving and arrived within the specified time. The technician was very professional and explained every thing he was doing. Incredible company and incredible experience! Wish doing business was always this easy!

I was very satisfied with them. I didn't have any problems during the service.
