Precision Overhead Garage Door

Provider was supposed to call within 2 days. After a week, I called them. Work was high quality & professional, but ultimately felt like I paid $100 for them to come out & give me a sales pitch. All they're interested in is selling you more stuff, and felt like most of what he did, he would've done if I asked him to come give me a free quote.

I took advantage of $111 promotion that covered inspection plus new rollers. Added work included new electric eyes and door cables. Extra cost of $220 for these items. It took approx 5 days from the time I paid Angies list for them to contact me for appt. The service technician did a good job explaining exactly what my issues were and what was required to fix them. Door operates very well now. Overall, they were pretty good and I would use them again.

It worked fine and it was very good.

After replacing the rollers, the door performed worse than the door did before they replaced the rollers They refused to come back out- they stated that they performed the work according to the Big Deal and that was all they were going to do.

It went great. When I called they had a technician that would be available after 5 p.m. like I needed since my husband and I both work. They called ahead to let me know he was on his way. Very knowledgeable and professional. We had Anthony Wise.

The people were prompt on day of service, the old door was removed and replaced with new door. the service men were neat and did a great job, we were very satisfied with their service and quality of door. The company had great communication with us in regards to service appointment, cost of door, installation date and provided photos of service staff and name of person coming to our house. I would not hesitate to use Precision Overhead Garage Door in the future.

It went well. If it wasn't for the Big Deal, to me, it would've been way too expensive for the work performed.

After making the appointment with them for repair we were notified by email confirming the date and time of the appointment and the name and picture of the technician who would be coming. The technician was prompt, he called before arriving, he evaluated and explained our problem to us and was efficient in carrying out the repairs. He was pleasant and professional. He examined the door and the door opener. It was a holiday week end and there were no extra charges for that. We would not hesitate to recommend them.

I called the company and made an appointment easily. They showed up on time and explained the process. Answered all my questions and finished quickly. I would use again.

Amazing service! Our garage door openers were not functioning due to a problem with interference. Precision sent a service technician the day we called. He was very pleasant and professional and immediately understand the problem and came up with a cost effective solution.

They replaced a lot of the door to fix it. The technicians came out a did a great job. They came the same day I called. I called 3 or 4 places and they said they could not make it our their was going to be extra fees. They charge a flat rate.

Service and upgrades were done professionally on a timely basis while there. Very satisfied with technicians and work performed.

After backing into the garage door, the door would not close. I called Precision, and they came out the same day to get the door closed and returned the next day to replaced the panels. Two panels were replaced, though only one appeared to my eye to be damaged. The technician said both were damaged and should be fixed. The work seemed good when first completed, but within a month, the door was not level and not closing properly. When I called them back to fix it, they told me the whole door mechanism needed to be replaced for about $700. I called another company, and they tightened the wires and made a few other adjustments (for $75) and the door has been working fine.

The service worked out great. Everything was pleasant, the service technician who came out was nice and pleasant. He was informative, he told me what he did, we had a few questions and he answered them. Everything went fine. He was in and out pretty quick, which was good.

Brad Buzzelli of Precision Door Service was called to perform an Angie's list special on the garage door. As I talked to him and asked him questions, I felt confident that this person was the one that I wanted to make additional changes to the garage door. It was noisy and would slam against the garage floor. Brad was patient and by the time he was finished the door was quiet and ran smoothly. Also, I wanted a new garage door opener, and he helped me choose the one right for me. Brad was personable and answered all my questions. This evaluation is being written over a year later, and the garage door is still quiet. The Liftmaster is exactly what I wanted.

Called mid afternoon Thursday - Friday was booked, and Saturday had only a late day appointment (we couldn't be there for it), so they came out on Sunday morning - prices were the same as mid-week. Received an email reminder of the appointment along with a picture/bio of our technician to be - nice touch. Our tech - J Schwartz was thorough and efficient, and delivered the 'bad news' - we needed a rebuild. It was $790, included all parts and labor, and a transferable lifetime warranty. He was done in a little less than 2 hours and the door works perfect: it is level, no longer jittering, and it operates quieter than ever before. They sent a follow-up email upon completion of the job. Initially the price seemed steep, but this is certainly a case where top dollar definitely got us top quality and customer service.

One of our garage doors was not closing well. One side came down lower than the other. We called another garage door company first. The agent was new at the job and seemed a little uncertain about things. He told us that we could no longer get parts for the door because the company that made them is out of business. Then he showed us photos of garage doors that were very expensive. So we tried Precision. The agent explained that all of the weight for the door was on one side. He said that since the company that made the doors 60 years ago was out of business, we would have to get a new door. The doors he showed us were less expensive but seemed to be the same quality. He showed us photos of doors with and without windows. Precision had a wider selection of doors to choose from. (I think the man from the first company gave us a price for two doors by mistake). After discussing the problem, my husband and I decided to get both doors replaced since they were so old. The technician, Ryan Freeman, came out yesterday afternoon. He called when he was on his way. He worked steadily, removing the old doors and loading them onto his truck and installing the new doors. Ryan asked us to confirm that we wanted the windows in the second row of panels. There were no accidents or issues that we know of. He finished by the end of the afternoon. The doors look very nice and work well with the door openers that we had.

ur tech was bill adamini,he called to see if could come at earlier time than we had scheduled,which was fine, very polite ed & serviced,showed us the areas that needed replaced,then educated us amount of time it would take & what it would cost. We purchased this home 3 years ago & thought it need to be checked out....We are very happy with the door & tech as job was completed few minutes early, and was very polite.

These folks were extremely professional and easy to work with. They visited our home at our convenience, and met with us to review our purchasing options, including a nifty laptop program that showed different model garage doors on OUR garage. The price was steeper than our other two quotes, but the quality is fantastic - we don't regret it for a second. The door is very well-made and durable, and the opener is almost perfectly silent. Installation was a breeze, and the technician spent a good 45 minutes with me to show me all of the new opener's features. The only downside - and it's not their fault - is that the new door looks a bit crooked. As it turns out, the door was installed perfectly level (which it needs to be to work properly), but our old garage settled almost an inch on the left side over time...something we never noticed with our old rotting door. Like anything new, it always makes the older stuff look worse. Oh well, such is life in an old home. We highly recommend this company!!!

He took the whole door apart and assessed the problem and added springs. he set it back on track and it has worked ever since But he spent a long time doing what he did do and did it right.

I was happy that the service man arrived within an hour of my call since I was unable to open the garage door. He thoroughly explained what was wrong and gave me options and prices for each. The quality of the work and his professionalism was excellent. While the price was high for a repair, the garage door was old and had not been well maintained by the previous owner. Doing a complete overhaul gives me a warranty and peace of mind.

It was a while ago and my memory fails me of the details. I just wanted my garaged door checked so it would not make as much noise when being raised or lowered. It never was real quiet. I would like it to be quieter.

The technician (Anthony Wise) arrived early, after calling to see if it was okay, and got right to work. He explained what the company does, what they strive for, and what the issues were with the door. He included a recommendation for additional work to preserve the life of the door and save me another service call. I was hesitant because of budgetary concerns. After consulting with his supervisor, Anthony offered a discount and explained that, with an additional service fee for another visit and without a discount later, the job would cost more in the future. I agreed and he did the additional work (and quickly). He was personable and professional. I am very satisfied with the work and learned something about garage doors in the process (always a plus).

They were very prompt, they appeared very knowledgeable in what they did and lifetime guarantee in all the parts and everything. They did a good job, they came back a couple of times until they got it right because some of the features that were programmed in there I really didn't care for and he had a fool around to get my key code in there couple of times. They were very accommodating, things didn't go quite timely they were willing to keep coming back. I guess they were a little high compared to some of them, the only thing is you get a lifetime warranty with it; if you upgrade with their parts you get a lifetime, they'll comeback and replace everything. They were punctual.
