Description of Work: Removed rusted iron bars and broken glass from 6 windows, cleaned and installed 6 oversize, custom glass block windows, 5 with large vents, in my chosen design. Contractor was prompt and polite, performed all measurements, went over glass block security details with me for my needs, and advised the best designs for privacy and light. The installer was professional, courteous, diligent, and fastidious. He cleaned up, & did a great job. I love my windows; no leaks, & no uninvited 'guests'!

Description of Work: CGB removed four original (1923) metal/wood frame cellar windows and replced them with vented glass block windows. I then asked CGB to cement the interior walls around the windows where removal of the metal/wood frames left an unsightly exposure of brick/tile. This they did once outside temperatures rose sufficiently to make cementing feasible. All went very well to my thorough satisfaction.

Description of Work: I requested a quote for a future project to have the 8 windows in my basement replaced with glass block windows. John Murphy came to my home and was very prompt. He was very friendly and professional and answered all of my questions. I even asked his opinion on the bathroom in my basement and he answered that also. The price I was quoted was approximately $400 less than a competitor that only gave me a quote over the phone.
