They estimated the price range on the phone before arriving, the arrived (slightly earlier-- but wasn't a problem for me). They did the job. I signed up for a year's worth of visits. They charged me on the higher end of the estimate. The exterminator that showed up was great, professional and curtious. I would say one office person was very friendly and informative, the other not so friendly and not so informative. I would definetly refer them to friends and family. Even though I am giving a "A" for price -- I don't have alot of comparison prices-- it mostly seemed practical for us to pay that since we have a 2600 sq ft Ranch. The follow ups are not the same price as what we paid for the initial visit. Also What I like about them is they say in between visits will be free if you see a bug ...or anything that is covered by the plan.

I called for an inspection for 'flies' in the kitchen area for one of my residents at the apartments I manage. There was not an obvious situation or cause for such a thing as flies in the kitchen area.......the cleanliness of this resident is among some of the best I have ever seen. The service technician performed the inspection and said what they were, and that they were feeding on whatever had died behind the wall or under the floor, such as likely a mouse from d-con. He fogged the area and explained what to do to keep it from happening again.

He did a thorough job, both inside and outside and since then (6/9) we've not had a problem! Not a single one.

They are a locally owned company. The person who came to give the estimate had been with the company for a really long time. They are going to spray things outside and will not come inside until I want them to.

Called one company - they were quick to quote a very high price for a very small number of bugs found. Got on Angie's List and found Sure Thing. They spent time on the phone with us explaining what needed to be done for prep, how long it would take, etc. They gave us a 2 hour window to arrive and were there within the first 30 minutes of the time range. He came in and talked to us first, asked questions, investigated thoroughly. Very quick and thorough. Very professional - taught us a lot and made us feel comfortable with the treatment choice. The time required was within their range and the prices was less than they quoted over the phone. Very good experience - I am happy to endorse them and would call them back for any type of pest control issue without any question.

I have a contract with them for the job. They were very thorough and professional. They explained everything in detail and knew well what they were spraying for. I liked their services and will use the same in future.

Because I had used this company on two occasions in the past for wasp control in my yard and liked their work, I called to ask them to come and inspect my house for termites. The appointment was set up with me within that week (!), with a range of time that fit my schedule. The technician showed up at my house right at the beginning of the time range they gave me. I actually was running about five or so minutes late, but that didn't seem to bother him; he had already gone around the outside of the house and taken measurements, etc. He proceeded to then inspect my basement area and my garage area, determining that he did not see any active termite activity. No charge for the inspection! He advised getting another inspection done in 2-4 years or earlier if I see any activity. Lastly, in response a few questions, he took the time to explain how far on my foundation I could safely (in terms of termite prevention) build up my flowerbeds and whether or not some cracked off skimming of foundation walls on one side of my house should be fixed to prevent termite/other pest damage. I appreciated that he asked if I had an ant problem (I do, every spring, in my kitchen); he recommended an "over the counter" treatment (and gave me advice as to where to spray it) and said that if I find that doesn't seem to take care of the problem, to call the company to help.

My visits are perfect every time. He is professional and knows what he is doing. He doesn't upset my dogs. He makes recommendations and does a great job. My technician is Mark and he does an outstanding job. He can identify all the bugs that have died since he treated me last. I have used them for 7 years. They call me and ask me what day works for my quarterly visit. They keep up on it and I don't have to. He always does the outside but sometimes he does the inside as well. He warns me every time on what I need to do for my dogs. He is an informative, good guy.

We were very satisfied with it. The bed bugs are gone. One things about them is that they are using a new technology that involves hanging strips in your room and they combine that with the regularly used liquid spray and he did keep coming back and spraying until they were all gone. I would say that they were successful in eliminating the bed bugs without us having to leave our home.

Company does not have free quote or estimate. Estimate was over the phone with person giving her opinion and giving a range of price. Ants could be 100 to 200$, termites 1000 to 2000 $ or more.after I gave her my symptoms of concern. There is a 50$ fee for someone to come out and give an opinion. This would be applied to the cost of any work done. I do not believe this is an industry standard as two other companies understand we will be needing work done and are looking for true estimates. These companies , one is on Angies list.

Kim does an excellent job. He calls before he comes to spray our upstairs porch. He is always very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend them!

First call was about bees in our attic. He dusted and no more bees! Field mouse in our new home after construction....came immediately and found him in a box and got him out! Ants coming in our back door after construction...annual spring service has made sure they haven't come back. Quarterly service keeps our home bug free.

The service man that comes out is awesome. He is super nice, talks me through what he is doing and why he'd doing it. He is very thoughtful and seems like he cares about us and the work he is doing. We are set up for two spraying a year. They have also come out for an ant problem we had.

Everything has gone very well. They were courteous, on time, and cleaned up well, which is very important to me.

Service was excellent from the initial inspection through the treatment proceedure.

The technician came on time, and did a patient and thorough job. I was really looking for an environmentally safe, low-chemical / no-chemical way to handle my insect issue, but couldn't really find any provider for it. Only thing I didn't much care for from this experience is that the technician seemed to be a bit salesy about trying to get me to sign up for a "program" where they come back in a few times to check and spray again.

Jerry arrived on time & did a thorough inspection. He answered my questions and then offered two different ways of treating my termite problem. He thought either one would work ---Termidor or Hex Pro. The initial fee for the bait method was about the same as the other company's estimate. The difference was the price of the continuing service and the frequency of follow-up visits. Although Sure Thing's services cost less, I felt more comfortable and confident with the company I ultimately chose.

All was well for a few weeks and then I started seeing bees and wasps again. I contacted the office and I got the run around from their admin./call center. The first call I made, the woman stated that she could not send a guy out to look at the bees if I did not have "concrete" evidence that these were the same bees they previously treated. She told me that they were not responsible for "bees in flight". So, I pulled out my first receipt to see how many carpenter bee holes they treated and realized that he did not put any detail on the receipt. So I went to look for myself to see if there were any new holes or new activity. I saw some new scratchings for holes as well as some holes with no dust in them. I call the company back out to see if they can look at them. Again, I get the run around and she tells me that they are NOT RESPONSIBLE for additional bees and that another service call will run me $50. I say fine, figuring that the service guy will see the new holes and decide that this is new damage and they he will honor his work. NOT! The service guy not only comes out to the house and charges me another $50 but then starts this wild backpedaling tale of how all bees will drill until June 1st and that they don't recommend spraying until June (no one informed me of this). He also claimed that he sprayed my wood pile on the previous visit (he didn't or he did this without my knowledge as we agreed not to do so). He then says that there actually was one new drill hole (I saw 3) but he still charged me the $50. On top of all of this, he gives me the receipt as well as a quarterly quote for an extermination schedule for $92/quarter (all extermination but wildlife and termites). In their yellow page ads, this company states that they treat termites. That was one of the reasons I called them over another service. I wasn't sure what was making holes in my deck (bees or termites) but I figured they could tell. Overall, I thought the work was o.k., but I felt like I could not trust this guy. I felt that he answered the same question differently depending on the day. Plus, he did not honor the work he previously did. I will be using another company if our bee problem persists. Disappointing on a "service level" more the product used UPDATE (06/11/2010) On June 2nd, Sure Thing Pest Control contacted me regarding my second service call and made good. I truly appreciate their professionalism and quick response. Although I had concerns during my service call, I am happy to report that Sure Thing does address any issues pointed out to them. Thank you!!

Outstanding. The technician was extremely informative and conscientious. When he got into the roof to look for wasps, he even took a look around to see if there were any mouse nests. He took the time to inform me about different winged insects and what to look for that could signal a problem. He was also very punctual, making the visits the day after I called in both cases. I was very pleased.

It went fine. He seemed very professional and was nice. I would probably use them again, I was not dissatisfied.

They are wonderful, prompt and reasonable. Mark is excellent and knowledgeable.

They made two trips in order to complete the job. They followed up to make sure that the bees were gone. I think they did a great job. I?ll use them in the future.

The people that came out were very nice but I thought the price was much too expensive for the work they did.

I usually pay them by the year, as I am very happy with them. We always request Mike to come out to do the job and he is absolutely wonderful. It's really easy to work with him. I have also recommended him to others. The amount that I pay them for the year is 391 dollars which includes the tax too and it's for 4 applications. I have not compared their price with any other companies. They respond to my needs quickly, as they redo anything I ask them to do. They are wonderful to work with. I will hire them again for the next year.

We are quite happy with them. Two years ago they came out and put a trench around the place therefore termites and other pests have been controlled. It has controlled the ants too. It was a big treatment. They just came out and did the yearly inspection today and there were no termites.
