Lou is an incredible professional! He went above and beyond in thoroughness and helpfulness. As a soon-to-be first-time homeowner, I deeply appreciated him giving me tips about how to fix issues, how to turn on and off different features, and how to regularly service things such as the hot water heater. His report came within five hours of completing the inspection, and it is complete, detailed and clear. It even features photos. I hope I purchase a second house one day so I can hire Lou again! Lou was an amazing inspector. He came prepared with all the tools imaginable that an inspector would need so that you could have all the information you need to negotiate with a seller. He had a camera that could see if our floors had radiant heating. He checked everything and noticed things our previous inspector did not notice such as a backlight not working and also a pin missing on a sliding door. His report was completed the same day! The inspection was very thorough. Louis took his time and explained any area that was a problem, even if it was very small. Lou was very thorough during his inspection catching several items that we were able to resolve with the current owners prior to entering into a contract. Lou also let me tag along with him during the inspection taking the time to explain the various system in the home, how to maintain them and what issues to look out for. Bottom line... The appraisal went very well. I don't know very much about home inspection in general, so I was worried that a lot of things would be over my head. On the contrary, Lou explained everything in a way that I could easily understand. Not only were the premises well-inspected, but I now know exactly what I need to do to remedy some of the small issues that were found.
