Difficult to contact. No response to Angie's List contact form/scheduler. My husband and I followed up with many phone calls. Barbara then scheduled for another day, in the afternoon (3:00pm). She called in the morning to say she would keep me updated on time, but didn't call. I called her, no response. She arrived at night, spent time looking at, and explaining furnace, no critical problems luckily. Replaced a radiator pressure valve ($30). Thought service charge ($150) was high, considering what was done. $$$.

I called Barbara because she had great reviews on Angies list. Lucky for me she was able to come the same day. I needed a new faucet installed in the kitchen and the toilet was running. She came to my house on time. She was very professional and gave me an estimate to replace the faucet before she started the job. Then she looked at the toilet, bent the arm and the running stopped. No charge. She replaced the faucet and left. I noticed a slight drip under the sink and called her. She came back immediately and fixed the drip (which had nothing to do with the faucet replacement) I offered to pay her more money but she refused. She's not only the nicest and friendliest person you could ever meet, but, the most honest and wonderful person to do business with. I recommend her to anyone who wants a skilled, professional plumber to come into their home. You will be very satisfied.

Barbara has been my plumber for about 20 years. She has, in my opinion, a Ph.D. in plumbing. I have had some complex and difficult repairs because I live in an older home, and she brings a high level of expertise, knowledge, and creativity to each problem. She is also very articulate and can explain the problem and the repair process in very clear terms. You can relax when she works in your home because she always get the job done properly.

Barbara responded promptly to our call and was able to complete all work within days. We have had issues with these leaks and faulty pipes for several years and have had other plumbers work on the problems with no real resolve. However, we have not experienced any further problems since Barbara has completed the repair. One sink repair could have required elaborate work and been much more expensive, but Barbara worked hard to save the exit piping and provide us with a less costly fix. This was the first time that we employed Barbara's services. We will definitely be hiring her again.

She tried, and I thought it was going to be minor, but it entailed more, and I couldn't do that.

Barbara was a pleasure to work with. She was friendly, clean, and professional, and did quality work. She even made an extra trip to install the new sink, as the old one had to be removed for a painting job and the new one couldn't be installed until the painting had been completed.

Barbarar was very friendly and helpful. I originally wanted to ask her to fix the garbage disposal which was broken due to the misoperation. She gave me two possible solutions, their pros and cons, and the associated cost - one is to buy a new disposal machine, and another is not to use a disposal machine. I chose the lattter. She did the job very well. I am happy with her service and her kindness.

Mrs. Barnagat called prior to arriving to let me know she was running a little behind. She arrived with a replacement pump, which to me was a bit of a surprise as I thought she may have wanted to look at what she was working with before she purchase any part. Coming prepared already was half the battle. She took a look at my faulty pump and confirmed it was no good and it needed to be replaced. Being that the pump was in a very tight space, her small frame made her ideal for this job. She may be small but she is tough as nails. I had to leave for a meeting. I left her in the house with a family member while I was out. She removed the old pump and installed the new one all within the time and price accorded. She tested, bleeded and retested the system to make sure the work she had done was done properly and all was in working order. I trusted Mrs. Barnagat and she came through with her promise of fixing my issues.

On 10/17/14, I called Barnagat Plumbing and left a voicemail message of my plumbing problems. The following day, Barbara Barnagat left me a voicemail apologizing from not returning my call promptly. When we were finally able to speak, I arranged for free estimate consultation of my plumbing work. Barbara sounded warm and friendly over the phone, and I felt confident that she was someone I could work with. We arranged for her to come to my home on 10/21/14, and she arrived mid afternoon. She was just as warm and friendly in person as over the phone. I took her to the basement to assess the leaking boiler problem and she walked me through step by step of what she was going to do to fix the problem. I then took her to the upstairs bathroom where the pipe was leaking under the sink. She gave me a price of $160.00 to replace the leaking valve and when I agreed with the price, she proceeded to replace the valve. Once this problem was rectified, she informed me that the was going to Lowe's to purchase parts to the boiler. And when she returned, she did the following: installed a new pressure relief valve, checked the system and found the extension tank full of water, disconnected extension tank, installed a new larger extension tank. When the job was completed, she told me that II shouldn't have any more problems with the boiler, but if I did, I should call her. She also gave me one year warranty on the work. I would definitely hire Barnagat Plumbing, Inc again.

They were very concerned with making sure they did quality work. I was very pleased and would use them again.

Barbara came to our home, looked at the situation and explained that she would try to only replace a portion of the pipe if she could. Unfortunately, once the pipe was removed the entire mechanism needed to be replaced. Barbara had to work not only from the tub, but from an opening in the garage that led up to the back of the tub.It was tedious work. Barbara finished the job and tested for leaks. None were found. About a week later I observed a leak in the garage coming from the tub. I called Barbara. She responded promptly and made a minor correction and resolved the problem. Barbara is neat & prompt and her prices are fair. I would definitely use Barnagat Plumbing again and recommended Barnagat Plumbing to anyone who needs a good reliable plumber.

Barbara fixed a leak in a pipe leading to my hot water heater. She was professional, friendly and honest, and did great work.

Barbara came, gave me a fair estimate and got to work. She was a pleasure to deal with and came in under her original estimate. It was nice working with someone who tells you approximately how long something will take; and charges for the actual job that is done. I have had other contractors lately that have "master books" with generic pricing that is outrageous. I will definitely use Barnagat Plumbing again.

Barbara was running late so she did not arrive on time. However, once she arrived she got right to work and the install went smoothly. Barbara was personable, knowledgeable and did a great job! The new sink and faucet look fantastic!

They did a good job and it cost about $200 for each project. The plumber who cam out was professional, came on time and had good ideas. She also was responsive and efficient.

Barbara replaced my leaking water valve and the attached pipe. She was prompt and perfessional. She went straight to work and fixed my problem in a timely manner. I would definitely use her services again.

If I could, I will give more than 5 star rating for Barnagat plumbing. Barbara was great from the first day of our scheduling the appointment till the work was done. She diagnosed the problem over the phone and her estimate was exact for the work. The cost was very very reasonable and cannot be beat by anyone else. Her work was neat, clean and the new faucet looks great. The old rotten valve was replaced and looks perfect now. I haven't called any plumber in my home before, but for any of my future plumbing needs she is the one I will go to.

Barbara contacted me within a day or two of my calling. While we initially had some difficulty scheduling a good date and time, she came late one afternoon to look at the the work to be done and gave an estimate. She was willing to answer several additional questions I had as well. The actual work was done on 7/16/14. She spent quite a while snaking the upstairs tub which she said was one of the most clogged she'd seen in her career! The price seemed fair, although perhaps it should've been even more given how challenging the job was. I admire her diligence and she certainly seems knowledgeable. I appreciate her low-key personality and like others have said, it's nice to feel as a woman that you are being taken seriously, in this case by another woman! We will use her again!

Experienced a leak under my kitchen faucet. I thought the supply lines needed to be changed and that was it. I called Barbara who gave me a rough estimate and she came over the next morning to take a look at it. She explained to me that the entire faucet needed to be replaced and told me exactly what type of faucet I should be shopping for. She would have to come again at a future date after I purchased a new faucet. Gave me another estimate for the work to be done which was extremely reasonable and on top of it did not charge me for the first visit! Fast forward a few days, she came by again(she was a little late due to traffic but called me to let me know) and removed my old faucet and installed the new one in under an hour. She was extremely professional with excellent communication. She had no problem giving me estimates unlike most other companies. On top of it my final bill was actually less than her original estimate. I couldn't be happier with her services and wouldn't hesitate to call her again for any future plumbing services.

I had called Barbara Barnaget based on positive Angie's list reviews. I found her to be very responsive and came on time. When she came the first time she needed a part but the faucet had been a special order 15 years ago. She tried to get the part from a local plumbing supply shop but no stock. Amazingly in this day and age, she didn't charge me anything because she said she didn't fix it. She told me what I needed. I contacted the manufacturer who sent me to parts (for free). Called her back 3 weeks later when they arrived and she came over promptly and fixed the leak.

She was so wonderful. I thought what, a woman plumber but she was wonderful. The place she had to get into to replace our pipes was so tiny. I am tiny and I couldn't get in there. She was little but so strong that she managed to get in there. She was so sweet, nice and funny. She made it such a great experience. The pricing was awesome. We had other people come in and give us prices and they were outrageous. We had quotes up to $800 and $900. Her name was Barbara Barnagat. She used a heavy kind of plastic and we were nervous about it at first until she explained it. She said she herself as a plumber was nervous using it. They put it up through the roof in this one area so they had to go through the ceiling so everything had to be replaced. She redid everything and it was amazing for that price. She was very quick because she knew what she had to do. When she came to give us the estimate, she said to give her a day because she wanted to map it out for the most efficient way. Sure enough it is perfect. We would definitely use her again.

Barbara arrived at my home very prompt. I have an older home so most of the time there is not an easy fix.
