Reade Street Animal Hospital

Veterinarians,

About us

Dr. Mary Xanthos, owner and primary veterinarian at Reade Street Animal Hospital, had a vision of an animal hospital with all of the cutting-edge advancements and technology that could be found in the "big city" with the care, personal attention and customer service that is often associated with the "small town." In October of 2009, Reade Street Animal Hospital opened its doors with that same vision and philosophy.

Everything went really well. My dog had been exhibiting extreme thirst and was wanting to be walked every 5 minutes. I took him to Dr Xanthos who performed blood work and urine analysis found that there was sugar in the urine. she was astute to notice this was not in the blood and recognized my dog's condition as a rare kidney problem. She spent part of her vacation which was scheduled for two days later figuring out what treatment was necessary. she kept in touch by phone and email and I am happy to say that my dog is now fine. because of her treatment.
