After 29 years, it was time to replace our 25-year roof. Ansen did the job! Derek was very helpful in helping us choose the correct color. Lots of choices, all quality products. Very informative. Price was very reasonable. Scheduling was great & reliable. He called the evening before to confirm after checking the weather (it was so-so for a few days). If it rains, they have to reschedule. He said they crew would show up around 7:15AM +/- 15 minutes. I got the call at 7:15 as they pulled up to my house. The actual noisy part of the work began around 9 AM to be respectful to the neighbors. 6 sheets of plywood had to be replaced. Derek showed me where and why. He used 1/2" plywood (code) - Douglas fir (quality). Job was completed on time. During the original estimate he recommend replacement of the gutter guards which was also done. Clean-up was thorough. He had to come back once to fix a small problem with a vent hose. He was there when he said he would. He also gave me an extra package of shingles should repairs ever be needed. After moving into a new home we wanted to have the roof checked out. I got one estimate for a roof from another company. They told me all this work that needed to be done($$). Al from Ansen came over. After looking at our roof, Al stated that we could get another five years from the roof and don’t let anyone talk us into it. Al gave us some other quick housing advise. He came across as very experienced and professional and a very nice man. We will keep his card and will not hesitate to call them for any future job.

Start to finish Derek & his crew were great! After initially ripping the roof the crew found numerous boards of plywood that had to be replaced. They quickly communicated that to me & continued the work. They also replaced three skylights, chimney flashing, & sidewall flashing. They completed the job in one day & the cleanup was spotless!!! Completely happy with the quality of work, cleanliness, professionalism, & price of the work!

It went great! They did a great job and were very kind to work with. They also gave me referrals for other companies for interior work that needs to be done as well. I would recommend them to other people!

Alan is the owner of the company. He is the nicest most professional man that owns a company that I have ever met!! I have dealt with many people but he is the most honest person I have dealt with..He will NOT ******** you like so many others!! I will refer him to anyone who that needs a roof or anything else! The best contractor I have ever dealt with. Alan Examined my roof, took pictures of problem areas & emailed me an estimate with an itemized breakdown of costs. They showed up on time & did an excellent job. Great people to deal with. Honest pricing.

Due to Ansen’s backlog of work, we had to wait a couple of months for work to begin. Ansen gave us a start date And they were true to that day. The work was completed in the scheduled 2 days. The job was done well and the crew was friendly

I had a roof where some of the shingles started to loosen up (poor workmanship from 10 years ago manifesting itself today). I did the typical 3 to 4 quote request, to to get a section of the roof repaired asap, while also getting a quote to get the whole roof replaced properly. I did get 3 other quotes, but all others were aggressively trying to convince me to do the whole roof now (which I had not planned for - I did not want to tap into the emergency fund just yet). Alan came and indeed gave me a quote for replacing the whole roof, and the quote was reasonable and comparable to market prices. But he also calmly explained why I did not need do the whole thing now, and how he could fix the existing issues within my budget. No pressure, no hype, just an honest assessment of two options for my consideration. Once agreed, he was here the next day and got it done, and with a written workmanship guarantee for a couple of years. This is the guy you want to deal with. No nonsense, honest, and got it done. He will indeed be the first guy I consider when I move forward with replacing the whole roof.

They came at 7am for the demolition, took a reasonable break around 1pm and completed the job around 6pm. He even charged me minimally for a previously, improperly installed skylight repair. Good guys ( Father and Son ).

It went fine. Allen was the one who is in charge and the company did an excellent work, promptly and fair price. It was very easy to do business with them. They gave 5 year transferable workmanship guarantee.

Alan Ansen is an honest, knowledgeable, friendly professional who cares about his work. He inspects the roof and photographs any issues/needs that he sees, then gives a detailed estimate that is fairly priced. He will indicate where he can save you a few bucks if you so choose. The weather was not cooperating on our first couple of scheduled dates but Alan was very communicative and rescheduled the project promptly. Alan along with his son and crew did a great job removing the roof to the rafters, installing a new roof and ventilating the attic. They had to push since more plywood was needed than originally thought and more bad weather was on the way. The yard was left clean. Alan himself came back to finish off some details shortly after. I have already started recommending his company.

I will start off by saying that although I didn't go into a contract with Ansen, I have taken the time to write this review, because I do hold them in high regard, and would recommend that you give them a call for an estimate. Alan (the owner) is a very professional and personable guy who is also very honest and easy to reach. I had first called Alan a couple months ago when I needed a small patch job done (appx $500.00 job.) Alan came out twice to take a look, and advised me that instead of wasting my money, to wait until I developed problems since I wasn't actually having any active leaks. Fast forward 2 months - I did in fact develop a few leaks during a bad rain storm. I called Alan at 8pm the same night, and he came the next day at 10am. I had his detailed estimate with photos a day or two later. I will also add that Alan actually went onto my roof - something which 2 other major contractors didn't do. In summary, the estimate was the 2nd best of 5 based solely on cost, and all things considered - the quality of Alan's work plus his workmanship guarantee did probably make it 1st of 5, but as a new homeowner who needs a new roof among other impending repairs, cost drove my decision.

they're great, Alan diagnosed the problem right away and it was taken care...we just had alot of rain and no leaks...hire them and you won't be disappointed

Great experience. friendly family run business. The owner came by to go over our roof and give us an estimate. He didn't try and sell us any unnecessary repairs and gave us a fair price for the amount of work that needed to be done. On the day of the repair, Alan was there with the crew and they did a fantastic job removing old roofing and matching new roofing to existing roof. It's been a couple months and no problems and roof looks great.
