We had an issue with our elevator squeaking. We already had All Ways on a service contract. They came out and said it needed some "special grease." But they didn't have the grease with them. So they had to come back. A month passed with no follow up. We called and set up another service appointment with All Ways. Another tech comes out and says we don't need the "Special Grease" (and btw this guy didn't have the Grease on him either). No no no, we need an oil change. But he can't do it then, so he leaves and says they will call us to schedule another appointment. Another month goes by. Elevator still squeaking. My assistant calls All Ways to schedule the oil change. Woman answering phone says "I need to talk to my boss and call you back." No call back. My assistant calls twice more, gets same response and no call back. Another month passes. I call and speak to The Woman. I am told the same thing "I need to speak to my boss and he will call you back." I said "If Boss doesn't call me back in 24 hours, I am going to cancel service contract." 3 days pass. Boss finally calls me! Says we have to schedule appointment for oil change. I say no thanks, we are going to cancel contract. Why did it take him three days for him to return my call? Why did it take 5-6 calls and two service visits and my elevator still squeaks? He replies that he was at a trade show...that was located right here in NYC. I guess cell phones don't work anymore in NYC. Crappy excuse in my book. My elevator still squeaks. I cancelled my contract. I would never refer All Ways to anyone that might need an elevator repair service to actually return their call. People's lives depend on the service they provide and I have lost all confidence in their work.
