Description of Work: I had windows and vinyl siding done by Tri- State Window Factory Corp. I had thirty windows replaced and vinyl-sided the whole house.

Description of Work: They installed 9 windows and did an excellent job on the tear-out, installation and molding. They covered everything and cleaned up inside and out. An excellent job!

Description of Work: removed 14 old double hung windows and replaced them with model 4100 double pane insulated new windows ( included one picture window and kitchen awning window ) |then removed house's wooden shingles and installed .046 gauge clapboard siding. Description of Work: Contracted Tri-State to fully replace 4 double hung windows in my residence that I am currently renting. The sales associate was right on time, which was excellent being that I was only in town for a short period of time and had to coordinate with the tenants. I was quoted for $1700 for the 4 windows, which included the Angie's list member discount. Work was done in a very professional and clean manner. I will look to Tri-State first for other window replacement as well as sodding and roofing.

Description of Work: Siding, Part 2 Well, it was a very tuff winter for us as we started this siding project. What was supposed to be a 5 day project took almost 3 weeks. Thank you Mother Nature. But I have to say with all the obstacles they had to endure because of weather, the guy’s were amazing. I felt terrible as they worked in the cold, wet outdoors. The guy’s were not only professional, but they were so polite and considerate. My home looks amazing. I am in love with the look and the job they did. They cleaned up as well as they could with all the snow. I would say if they offered anything more, in home improvements, other than windows, doors and siding. Which, I had all three done. I would hire them back in a heart beat. I absolutely love my new home. That’s what it feels like. BTW, both windows and siding have two separate dept. with separate crew. Both were outstanding and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Description of Work: Tri Stae Windows replaced all 21 casement windows in our 25 year old home in CT. I found them here on Angie's list for which I am grateful. We were going with a local reputable company that recommended windows by Verde which seemed good until compared to Tri State's 5400 series with triple panes and krypton gas filled. I liked the fact Tri State made their own windows so the comparable price was about $3000 less without the middle man.The salesman, Dan, responded right away and was impressive. He is knowledgable and NOT high pressured as some others. Measurements were done by Dan and then a week later by an installer, Chris. Our job was labor intensive because these casement windows were all one piece and required alot of cutting but the crew, led by George, was very good. They began at 9;00 and worked straight throughtill 7;00 PM with only a 20 minute lunch and drove back to NY. The job took 2 1/2 days. They did a really neat job with the only problem that the existing moulding around most of the windows could not be reused and $200 worth of unfinished moulding had to be purchased at Home Depot so now I need painting also. However these guys know what they're doing and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them again. I hope to see less cost in heating with these energy efficient windows with U rating of 0.18. Nice job Tri State and special thanks to Dan, George, and his crew.

Description of Work: This report supercedes an earlier report that I filed and that report should be now ignored. Tristate installed 7 triple pane windows. They have cut down outside sound and helped save on heat as I had hoped. The installation was one day and without issues. I had had an issue with obtaining guarantees for the work performed but this turned out to be a misunderstanding on my part. The guarantees were always a part of the contract I just did not see it on the form. However after registering a complaint about their absence the owner contacted me almost immediately, apologized for any misunderstanding and promised to get me a new set of written guarantees the next day. I did in fact get a certificate for the windows the next day as promised and the guarantee for the windows and the work done is what I had contracted for an expected. I have seen rerated the company with A's across the board and I would recommend them.

Description of Work: The company came out to do an estimate for the replacement of 7 windows. They were prompt, professional and courteous. The representative comes out with a sample window to show you exactly the various types of styles and materials. This is an excellent touch since other companies that provided estimates did not do this, they only showed photos which does little to give the customer a sense of exactly what they are getting in terms of functionality and materials.

Description of Work: I had six old windows replaced with their 4200 series triple pane glass. The company came highly recommended by some of my co-workers. The salesmen who came to my house was extremely knowledgeable, answered all my questions, and did not push for the sale. He really did a good job explaining everything to me and my wife, and gave an honest compasion to the competitions windows. The windows are solid, and have a lifetime warranty against pretty much anything! They measured for the windows a few days later, and within a week they came and installed them. The workers were professional and punctual. They took care not to damage any of my property, and did a fantastic job. I couldn't be more satisfied, and plan on using them next year to replace the rest of my windows.
