After the toilet was changed on 9/1/23. The plumber refused to caulk the gap at the base of the new toilet. Gaudioso didn’t respond to my request to fix it. That left a gap and roaches were roaming out from that gap into my apartment for 11 days until I hired a handyman to caulk it. It costed me extra money and emotional distress

My family has been hiring Gaudioso Contracting since 2016 for multiple renovations on our 2 family home. I think the fact that we have hired them time and time again for our renovation projects speaks for itself. They do excellent work, are up front about costs, and are quick to respond to any questions. They also seem to take pride in their work, as they well should. We have had so many compliments on the renovations to our home over the years. This time they redid our roof, completed some minor repairs to our rental unit (painting etc) and filled in the holes for two AC wall units that we had just replaced with mini splits. The worker that does their brick work is meticulous. He matched the brick pattern exactly. It is nearly impossible to tell that a huge hole was filled in. Work was completed within a week and the apartment and outdoor areas left clean. We would hire them again without hesitation.

Working with Gaudioso Contracting made my kitchen renovation so much easier than I expected: From planning to completion. One of the many great benefits in working with these folks is that they made helpful design suggestions, and use a terrific local cabinet maker - I had been worried about supply chain issues holding up the project - but cabinets, counter delivery and tile backsplash installations went so smoothly under Luis' (the foreman's) supervision. All the folks at the main office were very helpful and patient in answering my numerous questions. This project was done during one of the many heat waves, and the workers were diligent and cheerful. I'm so happy with the results, the kitchen is really transformed into a lovely workspace. I especially appreciated Luis' attention to detail, and follow-through on even the smallest items. I'll work with Guadioso Contracting again for my next project, and I highly recommend them!

I cannot say enough good things about Luis, his team, and everyone with whom I interacted at Gaudioso Contracting. Before putting our apartment on the market, we needed to get the place fixed up. This meant mainly patching and repainting the walls, various other cosmetic fixes, and a few upgrades including the installation of a highly specialized light fixture for which I had them build a soffit to house. The job started months after I initially met with Anthony, and suffered many delays because of my mother's illness. Despite this, and the fact that it was for them what I assume was a relatively small job compared to what they normally do, Luis and everyone at Gaudioso stuck with me, and the work they did was fantastic. In addition to their kindness and understanding throughout, their professionalism is unparalleled. As an interior designer, I am always looking for competent contractors and skilled craftsmen. I highly recommend Gaudioso Contracting, and look forward to working with them again some day soon, hopefully on a bigger, more exciting project. Thank you Gaudioso!!!

I hired Gaudioso Contracting for a bathroom remodel, washing machine plumbing installation, new floor installation and doors. Overall I am extremely satisfied with the quality and timeliness of the work. Change orders were added on as needed for our project without issue. The quote I was given was broken down by line item and very accurate. I was also in frequent communication via email, text, and FaceTime throughout the entire renovation process to ensure line items were addressed. I did not use their design services (which are offered) as I already had everything established and ready to order. The vendors that were suggested to me worked out well for our flooring needs. While the rooms in our apartment were protected from mess and dust, we had to request additional protection in our kitchen for cabinets and countertops. All in all, I am very satisfied with all of the work, I've recommended them to some friends and neighbors, as well as re-hired them for an upcoming job.

The team from Gaudioso did a wonderful job in our pre-war Manhattan apartment. We were renovating two bathrooms and creating a new small office space, all consistent with the 110-year-old spirit of the apartment. Travis, Albert and the rest of the Gaudioso team were able to replicate period details with historically authentic tile, parquet flooring, and a cove ceiling in the new office, plus a pocket door, moldings, fixtures, and other period details that blended with the rest of the apartment. They did superb work, managing the big picture and the smallest details with great care and skill, handling all plumbing, electrical, flooring, general construction, tiling, and much more. They were careful about Covid safety and respectful of our living space when we were living at home during the renovation. Our new spaces are fabulous, and we would gladly work with Gaudioso again on future projects.

Went well. My family lived in the house during the 4+ month reno and the crew were always clean, respectful and kind. They would wipe down the floor protectors 1x per week and upon request. Project manager Luis took feedback on progress of job and always reacted/corrected promptly. Was visible on site every 2-3 days, but would always show up at the appointed time upon request and with helpful constructive solutions, many at no additional cost to me. Would never slam me with requests for last minute material needs where I would need to make a decision without reasonable notice. I was my own project manager for everything but the bathrooms, where I had a designer, and Luis could speak in both designer language and in 'normal person without construction experience' language at all times without dumbing things down. Would always explain the 'why' when he would explain the construction possibilities. They did parquet throughout the top floor in keeping with the rest of the 1920s townhouse that looks great. Across the board everyone exhibits great care in the final work product. Owner Anthony also straightforward and clear in all communication and office manager Allison helpful and attentive.

The kitchen renovation, from start to finish, went smoothly and resulted in a kitchen more magnificent than we had envisioned. Working with the designer & cabinet craftsman was wonderful; their vast experience, portfolio of work to show for examples, & wide variety of backsplashes, materials & styles, allowed us to really hone the plan. Anthony's superintendant and crew were terrific: congenial, professional, on-time, making excellent use of their days, and were champs even when dealing with our incredibly difficult coop's superintendant and management board. We're left with a kitchen that has revitalized the entire feel of our NYC apartment and gladly give glowing reviews & appreciation for Anthony & his team.

The work went exceedingly well. Gaudioso's crew and crew supervisor were prompt, courteous and efficient in their work. When demo needed to go out, the truck came and it went out on time; ditto when new materials needed to come in. Not once did I feel like my job had been neglected to juggle other competing jobs. The attention to detail, cleanliness, and finish work was as perfect as could be in a 124-year-old building. Unfortunately one hanging light fixture globe got broken but Gaudioso replaced it, the exact brand and model, no questions asked.

Gaudioso responded quickly, came up with a reasonable estimate, and did all the work carefully. The workers were all friendly and competent, and left our place cleaner than when they arrived. The job turned out to be more complicated than they originally thought, and so took more time, but they graciously stuck with their original estimate. Would totally hire them again and recommend Gaudioso to others.

They did a great job!! The house painting job took about one month to complete because of the scraping and other prep work that was needed. I have a English Tutor style home that hadn't been painted for 12 years and in some places the wood planks needed to be replaced. Once the prep work was completed the workers applied one coat of primer and two coats of paint. For each job, the cost estimate included the cost of materials. There prices are extremely reasonable given the high cost of all the materials they used to complete these jobs. The house exterior looks great now. They painted the house using Benjamin Moore Regal Select paint. This is the best exterior paint made today. In the fall I had Gaudioso Contracting come back to complete some additional repairs involving securing my yard wooden fence that had fallen down from high winds and some driveway cement work. The guys fixed the fence in one full day and and completed the concrete work also in a single day, In each case there was a crew of 3 men who because of COVID wore masks the entire time and totally cleaned up each work site after the repairs were completed. I was extremely satisfied with their knowledge and skills. I would recommend Gaudioso Contracting for all small and large home construction improvement projects. Their foreman gives accurate cost estimates and the workers are skilled experienced craftsmen who take the time to do the job right!!.

I first worked with Gaudioso Contracting 4 years ago for a gut renovation in my small apartment. The business owner and particularly the office project manager Allison was highly proficient and organized throughout the process management. All interim billing and communications were handled very professionally. I recently worked with the team again on a flooding damage on my flooring. Allison listened attentively about the issues I experienced and quickly turned around a plan for the recovery work. Luis and his team who worked onsite for the repair was strict about the Covid safety compliance and they were wearing masks for the whole project and kept the work site clean and tidy. They were careful and showed great responsibility in putting the floor back efficiently, and also helped me fix a couple of other wear and tear in the apartment. I appreciate all their help especially during this tough year when home means a lot more than during the usual times. Thank you!
