Upholstering
Lekhram Seegobin is an outstanding upholsterer. I actually got him off of craigs list and hired him with considerable trepidation, as he was reupholstering two antiques - a chaise and a rocking chair. He hired a crew to come over with a rental truck and pick up my furniture and take it to his workroom in Queens. I received the furniture back in three weeks, delivered under plastic and handled with great care. The work was outstanding - perfect tufting, piping, corners, everything. I also received back the unused fabric.
Mr. Seegobin's prices are fair and he is prompt, courteous and a pleasure to work with. I am using him again now for re-creation of slipcovers and pillowcases - all very reasonably priced. He also has access to a broad variety of fabrics.
