The walls in my Riverdale co-op apartment were plain and dull. I wanted color, but I knew realistically that I couldn’t do the work, and I didn’t want amateurs making a mess. So, I called CertaPro Painters of Westchester. CertaPro Painters transformed my apartment in just two days! The place looks gorgeous! They did great work, and very clean work because no paint was dripped onto my wood floors. I proudly tell people, “Oh, I had my apartment professionally painted. I used CertaPro Painters of Westchester. You should check them out!” Look, here’s truth. Professional singers sing, professional cooks cook, and professional painters paint. Home quote was done on time. Was able to schedule me for the next week. The customer is told in advance which crew will show up. Herraldo’s crew showed on time on each day. The crew worked hard and did not disappear during the day. Work was completed in a timely manner and Herraldo was a pleasure to work with. My only negative was that the exterior stucco was extremely dirty and the dirt did not all come off prior to the first coat of paint. I was required to do a 3rd coat to cover the exterior st an additional price. Maybe the color we chose was too light and/or the stucco was way too dirty. Probably both. The job came out well and the reason for the painting was we are putting the house on the market. What a huge difference as a before and after!

Company's bid was reasonable ( lowest out of 4 other companies) There was no issue with out tight time line - they even finished earlier that was promised! Repairs (old Lathe and Plaster walls), removal of wallpaper, and paint were done neatly, quickly and beautifully! We will keep them in mind for next years plan to do the exterior! SO happy to have found them - would recommend them to all!

CertaPro Painters was truly amazing. I found CertaPro Painters because my contractor did not paint and I did some research and heard very good things about CertaPro. They definitely delivered a great painting product, great experience for me and my family, great communications during the process - finished on time and on budget. In fact it was my contractor who pointed out what a great job the CertaPro Team was doing with Site Protection (all new Hardwood Floors) and preparation - as there were so many areas that were new sheetrock. My contractor even asked for the owners contact information, so he could use them on his future jobs. Long Story Short - Great Experience and a year later - I purchased the company.

An exceptionally great experience from start to finish. After coordinating a site review online, the house was reviewed by CertaPro's excellent and very professional Sales Manager. All of our questions were answered, and we received a quote later that same day. The work was nothing short of excellent: First they powerwashed the house, then they went all around the house and fixed woodpecker holes, small rotted areas, caulked here and there, etc. in preparation for painting. That was really helpful! The painting crew was courteous, hard working, responsive, professional and very trustworthy. The job was finished in a little over a week because of rainy weather, approx 4 days' worth of work. It came out so good that two of my neighbors have dropped by to admire the house and inquire about CertaPro's services! They are fantastic, I highly recommend them and will not hesitate to call them again for my painting needs.

They were very clean, cleaned up each day. Punctual, showed up when they said they were going to be there. Cleaned up after the job very well - even vacuumed which was very much appreciated. They moved the furniture for us, they were so very careful, made sure they took care with our things and didn't bump it up against anything. We really appreciated that. The crew was very efficient and did a great job. We have used CertaPro a few years ago and had Alex and his crew, we asked for them again. They do an excellent job. Very conscientious and great attention to details. It's worth mentioning that on 2 separate occasions throughout the project we had a senior supervisor pop over to check-in and see how the job was going and ask if everything was going ok and if we had any concerns. The one gentleman wasn't even their supervisor, he was just in the area. We did not expect that level of attention. Was a pleasant surprise and really felt appreciated and valued. We would definitely use them again.

It went incredibly well. Peter and his team worked with us on the scheduling, took incredible care of our floors, furniture, and carpets, and completed the job on time and on budget. They even replaced window blinds for me as part of the work. Before we started, Peter said, “We will miss a few things – we are human. So once we’re done, live with it for a few weeks and take note of what we missed. Then we’ll come back and schedule all the fixes to be done at one time.” They have just completed those fixes and I’ve fallen in love with our apartment all over again. Manuel’s team of Juan Carlos and Raul Ponce did an amazing job tying up all the loose ends and even swept the floors and put the paint away in one of our closets. Oh and I nearly forgot—it was so helpful that they had a designer available to work with me on the colors. It can be a little overwhelming to decide between shades that are so close to each other. And she helped me see that part of what I liked/didn’t like was tied to the finish (eggshell vs flat) and not so much to the actual shade.

Work was done on schedule, workers arrived promptly and did a nice job. The workers were professional and cleaned up well after themselves. My only complaint with this business is that the office seems pretty disorganized. For example, we were told: "I'll send your information right over to the office" but nothing was done, even after a couple of days. Multiple calls were required to set up an appointment, information for our job was not provided adequately to the workers who showed up to do the work, etc.

Mitch is the owner of this particular store. They did a wonderful job. The house had not been painted in 50 years. When they came to paint the house, they washed it, sprayed it, and got all of the dirt off. It is a stucco house, and they did a beautiful job. We liked the newness and freshness of it.

A lady walked by the other day stopped in front on the house and asked if we had just moved in and noticed how beautiful the house looked. Everything they did, the colors they used were just beautiful. This is a soft gray, it almost looks white. It was what I wanted. We have a slightly medium gray trim on and around the windows and the window panes is a soft eggshell color. The door is a green color. It is a very nice color. It is a pretty house to look at. The garage matches the stucco with the same color. 

They were lovely to work with.

CertaPro was very responsive throughout. Someone came to quote the job and they were able to start just a few days later. While they were initially higher in price than others, they were willing to compare the level of services in other bids and explain the higher costs and/or adjust the price. Overall the quote was more complete and it gave us the sense they were on top of things. Because of the short timing from signature to start date, there was some confusion with the ceiling color, but they handled it perfectly and sent someone to get the color we wanted without delaying the job in any way. We will call them in the future for other painting needs.

I have used certapro painters to make repairs and general painting since
I moved into my home 14 years ago.  Recently I needed a wall repaired
where the taping seam separated.  The repair was completed in a day. 
The workmen are always prompt, courteous and neat.  The furniture was
moved and covered and floors were protected.  I have recommended
certapro to others and will continue to do so.  The project manager Alex
has always been very helpful.

I never write reviews - I can't recommend Certipro enough!  We were struggling to find the right company when we purchased our house and researched many companies in the area.  Not only did Certipro's quote come in the most competitive but they allowed us the option to finance for six months zero interest which was really helpful.  Derek, our Certipro representative was both professional and patient (I must have changed my color choice 14 times!).  Derek was on site almost daily to make sure we were happy with the work being done and the painters were both professional, clean, and super sweet to my 3 year old who became attached to the friendly faces arriving every morning.  I say it again - look no further - CERTIPRO!!!!!
