Kevin was very courteous and friendly and was knowledgeable about what he was doing. His work looks very professional and he cleaned up after himself when he was done. He was very helpful in providing some advice on other electrical work that I want to get done and I will definitely use him again in the future.

We called him and he said he could be over in about an hour. He was. Very friendly and professional. I totally trust him. If you need work by an electrician, I recommend you call him first.

We had called several companies for estimates and O'Connor Electric gave us the best estimate. We scheduled an appt within the next two days. Kevin came and did the work efficiently, within a timely manner and was very pleasant. I told him we got his name from Angies List and we received a discount for his services because of this. Finally joined Angie's List to check out another company for problems with my AC wiring (unit was fine until we installed new thermostat). They were super pushy about trying to sell me services- calling about once weekly with pitches, they said there was a month wait for service all over because of the weather change so they bugged forever- and they hadn't even seen my home yet. Logged on here and found Kevin (Owner) at the top of the list and called just to see if he might be was good as all his reviews. Very professional, came same day right at the time promised (2 hrs after we talked). We talked about what had been going on for a short moment and he went straight to work- fixing problems the other company said they wouldn't even touch even though they were fully licensed and insured just like Kevin. He didn't mess around with trying to sell me things I didn't need- as a matter of fact he went out of his way to ensure all of my existing hardware, connections, and wiring were in good SAFE condition. He didn't seem interested in replaceing miswired stuff because nothing was broken- but he was meticulous in making sure all was up to code with my old hardware, fixing every little miswire and double-checking everything. I'm a mom with a toddler on a tight budget and I live alone, I want to know whats up and I don't have the patience for a jerk who dismisses my questions on my dime.This was the Electrician for me! Very pleasant and straight forward, he took the time to explain what he was doing and why- answering all my questions. He was sensitive to my budget and when he found more problems then my thermostat he hunted the problem down. Turns out my AC unit had some issues with wiring also but he assured me after he was done my unit was still pretty good and should give me no trouble for years to come. No BS, sales pitches, or unessesary work- just tips on self maintance of my home electrical and where I could get filters for my AC cheap. Wrapped everything up and cleaned up after himself nicely about two hours after first arriving. Price was more then fair considering how much time he spent at my home and how careful he was with the work itself. Very thurough, knew his stuff, and most importantly didn't waste my time. FYI He's not an AC guy he's an Electrician- but he knew how to address what was wrong with my AC because it was all wiring. A heck of a lot cheaper then an AC specialist, and he was able to fix a lot of other stuff that was wrong in the condo. I will defininatly call him when my budget will allow for ceiling fans, a doorbell, and replacement of those gawd awful kitchen lights of mine. His work alone was well worth the Angie's list membership fee!

He called the night before our appointment to reconfirm which was reassuring. He called about 10 minutes before he arrived. He is one of the nicest and most polite service persons I have had in my home. He removed an old fixture that was no longer working and installed a new one. He did a beautiful job....quite a perfectionist. He then changed out an old switch that had been giving me problems. He also cleaned up any mess that was made. I watched him work and asked a lot of questions. He is very knowledgeable. The biggest surprise was that the bill was only $85 as he had said it would be! I am so used to service people changing the price for an assortment of reasons. I would absolutely call him again if the need arises.

The Circuits were checked because the bathroom outlets did not have power. The problem was resolved quickly and easily! I would absolutely call this company again!!

Called Mr. O'Connor and he came out the same evening. He diagnosed the problem with the outlet and added a second breaker. After considerable testing, he determined that the washer problem was not connected and that we just needed a new washer.

Overall he did an excellent job and I was quite satified with the work performed.

Very well. We did the initial estimate on a Thursday, and agreed for Kevin to do the work the next Tuesday. Kevin was on time, and did everything over the day Tuesday. He called before 4 p.m. and said everything was done. Everything looks great and works now. Would recommend him again.

Everything went very well. Kevin is a very experienced and skilled electrician. I would definately have Kevin come back into my home and do any electrical work. Kevin had to do a lot of hunting to find the source of the problem. He located it, and re-wired outlet properly so that I don't experience the same trouble again. He took the time to educate me about the problem and what he was doing to insure that i didn't have the same problem again He is fair in his price and has an awful lot of experience. High recommendation.

Great, he showed up on time, gave an accurate quote, very professional and got the job done. His pricing was exactly what a licensed contractor should charge. $80hr is not cheep but it is the going rate. It was worth it. I will call him again when I need to.

He arrived on time, He helped me troublshoot some electrical problems we were having. He quickly identified the problems and fixed it. He showed me some ways to troubleshoot my own problems in the future. He showed me tools and how to use them. He was very professional and easy to work with.

It was an expensive lesson for me but not the fault of O'Connor Electric. He trouble shot the situation and had the equipment to do it. He was also going on the information that I knew where all my GFI outlets were located. When we could not find the source he told me to check in an unknown place that they sometimes put an outlet. In the master Closet behind clothes. It seems this one outlet worked the outside outlet because all other lights and sockets worked. Good person.

Came on time, diagnosed the problem, fixed it right away.

Excellent work. The office was not pre-wired for a ceiling fan. He was able to mount the fan without any distruction of wall or ceiling plaster and wallboard. The exterior work was done using standard conduit. The mounting looks great and the conduit itself is easily hid with some paint. Having some experience with electrical installation, I can say that he is very professional and takes pride in doing the job right.

Kevin came on Thursday to give us an estimate. He came on Friday to do the work, but was slightly de-railed by an emergency (ours was not) call and asked if he could come back later that day or the next to finish the job. He came back later the same day and finished. He did an outstanding job. Kevin is knows his stuff, his estimate was spot on, he was polite, not rushed but worked rapidly, and the job was well done. This man even offered to fix our sprinkler system, unasked! We will welcome him back whenever we need electrical work done.

After a negative experience with another electrical contractor, I contacted Kevin O'Connor from Angie's List. We made an appointment for a free estimate. Kevin arrived promptly on the day and time indicated. He indicated that the current panel box was no longer available due to the age of the house. Kevin further indicated that he would have to research the availability of another box that would fit after some modification to the space. He would then fax me the estimate. The next day I received the estimate. I felt that the cost was fair and called Kevin to make an appointment for the installation. Kevin called me on the evening prior to the installation date to confirm. The next morning he arrived promptly. Although the main power was turned off, Kevin provided some power to the house for refrigeration etc.The job was completed in 4.5 hours which included a complete cleanup. Kevin is an honest professional and I would recommend him to everyone.
