25 years of experience

We operate here in the Las Vegas valley and provide Plumbing, Air & Electrical services (see our Services at www.acea1.com). We are a family owned company aiming to provide services that meet our customers’ needs in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining a high level of customer service after the job has been completed. In 2013 we switched our technicians to a tablet based dispatching and invoice system. It allows us to give you job updates as well as provide clear pictures of our work performed. In order to give our customers the best possible service, we felt this was a necessary step into the future of the service industry. We currently have 10 technicians ready to serve you and your home. Call today and mention the Angie's List discount and we will be happy to give you service with a smile!

"The work was quoted at $620 4 detectors at $80 a piece = $320 and 4 hours of labor at $75/hr = $300, total $620. I expressed my skepticism over email that it would take 4 hours to install 4 detectors. They had me talk to the technician directly over the phone who assured me that they just put that in case something goes wrong and it takes longer than expected and he has trouble programming the detectors and they just didn't want to quote me low and have it go over. The technician installed all of the detectors in 1 hour and was out the door. They still tried to charge me $620, saying that that was the amount I signed for, but it wasn't really, I signed for $320 plus $75/hr labor. He offered me a 10% discount when I called him (James, the head electrician). I did not accept, eventually I got him down to $500, still $100 more than I ought to pay and they were very reluctant to send me an email invoice to pay online. I had to call them twice to get them to send it. Not sure what they were doing here, I can only assume trying to wait and charge late fees/interest or something. VERY DISHONEST way of doing business!"

Same Day Service Company Inc. is an independent appliance repair company with over 20 years of experience, and we’ll provide you with service from our well-trained, professional technicians in hours, not days. We service all major kitchen and laundry appliances, and we charge by the job, not by the hour, so you’ll know the exact cost of repairs before we even begin! For a complete write-up of our quality assurance, we invite you to review the Quality Guarantee on our website.

"Due to COVID-19 itwas difficult to find appliance service companies that were open. Same Day service answered my call, and despite being heavily booked worked us in for the next day. Bill arrived as promised. He quickly diagnosed the problem as a defrost system failure. He had to order the parts. He warned us that due to COVID-19 associated systemic transportation problems it could be three or four days before the parts arrived. It was a four day wait. Once the parts arrived they scheduled us for a same day service. Bill arrived as promised and effected the repair. Bill followed all COVID-19 guidance to prevent contamination. The freezer stabilized in 24 hours, and is working correctly. We only lost a small amount of frozen food that had already defrosted due to the oruginal malfunction."

Lint Busters, has been serving Las Vegas for 20 years with their dryer vent cleaning needs. If your dryer takes forever to dry, that's when you need us. If you think that your dryer is not the problem, it's running but it's not drying up the clothes, you might need a dryer vent cleaner. Lint Busters will help you when - your dryer heats up - takes a long time for your clothes to dry - dryer vent is clogged - lint is clogged in the vent Recommended by major brands and over 40 local appliance retailers in Las Vegas. Call us today to get your problem fixed!

"These folks are fantastic! I've used them twice. Originally we were ignorant to the fact that the dryer vents would need to be cleaned every couple of years. If it's bad enough, it can start a house fire. At our old house, the dryer stopped working properly and it took forever for anything to get dry. We had a repairman come out and he told us that our vent was badly clogged. He recommended Lint Busters. They were prompt and cleaned out our system. Problem solved. We recently bought a new (old) home and the same thing happened; the dryer was not drying. Again we called Lint Busters. They offered an appointment the next day and gave us a three-hour window. They arrived on time and discovered the vent was badly clogged. The guys did an awesome job of getting everything cleaned out and they were great about cleaning up after themselves. The dryer works great now."

FAQs for appliance repair projects in Las Vegas, NV

If your refrigerator needs to be repaired, contact an appliance repair company to diagnose the issue and repair your refrigerator. It’s okay to leave it plugged in and running, but unplug it if it makes unusual noises.

Signs that your refrigerator may need repairs include:

  • Food items are not being held at the correct temperature (between 35 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit)

  • The fridge is using too much energy and seems to run all the time

  • Loud and/or unusual noises

Possible causes include:

  • A damaged door

  • Faulty condenser coil

  • Malfunctioning control board

Contacting an appliance repair professional as soon as possible can help save items in your fridge from spoiling. Common fridge repairs include the compressor, control board, thermostat, defrost motor, coils, and ice maker.

If you’re having problems with your dryer, contact an appliance repair professional as soon as possible to inspect and repair it. Having a faulty dryer can be a major inconvenience in the home.

Your dryer may need repairs if:

  • It isn’t turning on

  • It’s not releasing enough heat

  • The drum doesn’t spin

Common repairs include:

  • A damaged or worn-out belt or

  • Damaged or shorted electrical wiring

  • A control board malfunction

Dryers tend to overheat or become short-circuited over time, especially after heavy use. Other common dryer repairs include door switches, timers, and control boards.

If the unit is not under warranty, then you may want to call a reliable appliance repair technician to diagnose the issue and recommend a repair. Some of the most common washing machine issues are inadequate water supply to the unit, poor drainage due to clogging, leaks, and excessive vibration while washing. Like ovens, the cost to repair a washing machine will vary widely depending on which issue you’re experiencing.

The average cost to repair an appliance depends on the appliance, make, model, the part that needs repair, and how long it takes to replace or repair a part. The following are the average repair costs for the most common appliances:

  • Refrigerator: $200–$300

  • Freezer: $90–$500

  • Oven, cooktop, range: $100–$500

  • Microwave: $50–$400

  • Dishwasher: $160–$300

  • Garbage disposal: $70–$250

  • Washing machine: $50–$450

  • Dryer: $100–$400

Appliance repair contractors may charge $40 to $120 per hour for labor, and most also provide the replacement parts necessary at an additional cost.  It’s also important to note that these prices can go up on holidays and emergency fees may apply if you need your appliance fixed immediately.

It's good to contact the manufacturer first to see if any warranties still exist, and if they have any specific repair persons they recommend. Some specialty units or smart units may require the assistance of a manufacturer-approved technician. Oven issues can be more challenging to diagnose than other appliances in the home because many of the parts are difficult to access for inspection or replacement. Some common oven repairs involve replacing damaged burners, heating coils, or electric cables. Purchasing additional parts, such as a new heating coil may also increase the total repair cost.
