It never happened. He never showed up TWICE and i already paid for the service

We have used All Around Heating-Cooling-Plumbing on 2 seperate occasions, one to service our furnace and once to service our central air unit. Luis is very prompt and professional. We had some issues with our central air unit that were unknown to us prior to our service date. Luis was very thorough and made sure to point out to us what exactly he was doing and what the issues were. He didn't do any repairs until he had gone over everything in detail with us including what the repair cost was going to be. The price was very fair for the work that needed to be done and our unit runs so much more efficiently now. Luis also took the time to show us how to change our furnace filter. There were no hidden charges and everything was upfront. If we ever have any issue with either our furnace or air conditioning unit we will be using All Around Heating-Cooling-Plumbing. I would recommend them to anyone.

Given the non-stop use ac units undergo in Las Vegas, I was afraid that by skipping a couple of years routine maintenance, I'd overlooked a possible problem. Sure enough, that was the case. The cost of replacement motors (they come sealed, so leaks are not repairable when they occur in the shaft mechanism) was neither cheap nor exorbitant. Luis, the technician and company owner, was very concerned that I be satisfied with the service and to let him know if I ran into any problems with either unit. (Unfortunately, my house requires separate units for upstairs/downstairs. But that's another story.)

The owner was honest and up front that we did not need any work done to the a/c units, especially since summer was over and we would not be using the units. Just needed a good cleaning.

Fine. I liked him very much.

We were very happy that he handled our emergency quickly and efficiently, and were satisfied with the instillation, but were not satisfied with the price. The invoice was very vague and not individualized. They said there would be a warranty but I have not received any paper work on that.

He did a fine job and we're happy with his performance.

I had used this company last spring to check my A/C units and was very impressed with the service that I received so when I saw the coupon for checking the furnaces I wasn't hesitant to use it. Luis called before he came over and let me know when he would arrive. He was prompt, courteous and friendly. He explained to me what he did to the units and how they operated. I will definitely be calling him in the spring to check the A/C units again. If I have any plumbing issues, I will not hesitate to call him.

He was a few minutes late getting to my house, but he called me to inform me of his delay. He apologized and was very nice about it. It was totally out of his hands and I was able to thoroughly understand. I liked that he communicated with me the whole time. I will definitely recommend him to all my friends and neighbors.

Luis shows up on time and used his phone to communicate, unlike most that just work their own schedule. Luis also told me about comon ripoff scams in the business. This man is honest, and can save you a bundle. Do yourself and your home a favor and hire him 50 W Warm Springs

Luis was very professional. Please read this entire review! He was contracted to start my gas heating unit at the $49 option. The unit was corroded and several wires were smashed. Because it presents a safety hazard, Luis chose not to light the unit. He did not charge me, considering it an estimate for a new purchase. Luis had a pleasant manner delivering bad news and was not pushy trying to sell me a unit. He answered my questions honestly and he thoroughly discussed the new unit prices and mentioned several. He even took the time to talk with my husband by telephone. Luis asked me to call him before I purchase elsewhere as he can sometimes meet or make a better bargain. In all, he was helpful and considerate and made a very good impression. He even mentioned that I could opt to use electric heaters through my first winter in Las Vegas, in case I chose not to buy a unit . Now, how many business owners would do that? I will certainly call Luis again. Thanks, Luis!

Overall the process of adjusting the gas valve and inspecting the furnace was A-One.

They came on time and they left having performed what I needed.

6 weeks later my A/C stopped working. It was NOT the fan motor. It was actually the compressor that was failing. I asked Luis if he could replace just the compressor at the $1700 price he quoted me just 6 weeks earlier. He said it would cost $2200 ($500 more!) because the price of Freon had increased dramatically. He blamed the EPA and environmental regulation for the price increase. I reminded him that just 6 weeks earlier he said my Freon levels were spot-on perfect. (A/C techs use Freon-capture devices to drain old compressors and put the same Freon in the new compressor. These devices not only save the hundreds of dollars of lost Freon, but are required by the EPA I believe.) The A/C tech I ended up using for the compressor fix cost only $1600 and did not need any extra Freon. Hmmmm?? He also said my fan motor seemed fine as the rust was very minor (as I suspected). In essence, All-Around Heating and Cooling had straight-up lied to me. They initially pushed a seemingly unnecessary repair. Later they made up a completely bogus excuse in order to attempt to charge me $500 more on the compressor. This is not my opinion. This is a fact; based not only on the repairman I used but two other independent A/C contractors I consulted. I would NOT recommend All-Around Heating and Cooling. I think their Angie?s List A-rating is skewed by customer reviews from the A/C Tune-up promotional offer instead of ?real? repairs. I do not think they are trustworthy and they push unnecessary repairs. Stay away.

The owner/ service man what a great guy. On time , great price, a real fine gentleman. Would recommend him to everyone. I say call everyone else first for a price , then call him. He's the BEST..................!!!!!!

It went really well. Called him for an estimate, he arrived on time as promised. He diagnosed the problem as he already suspected over the phone. Repaired the problem and I'm now a customer for life!! Would definitely reccomend to family and friends!!

Setting up appointment was fast and easy. He was on time for the appointment which is a big plus. Of course the best part of all is that he fixed the problem and didn't put a huge dent in my pocket as I was expecting. Will definitely use again and recommend to friends and family.

The service man was cordial on the phone and was able to set up an appointment with short notice. Things fell short when he spent less than 15min assessing our AC problem. He didn't touch anything not was he able to mend the problem. He told us that it would cost nearly $1300 to get the AC on (new unit and installation). After getting a second opinion from another company, we were able to fix the issue for less than $400 (no new unit needed) and things are working perfectly. Needless to say, All Around Heating/Plumbing/AC did not meet my expectations.

The positives: -He replaced a dripping outdoor faucet with a quality product. -He was efficient, clean cut, and drove a well equipped vehicle. -I now know where the main water shut-off is located. The negatives: -No response a week after my initial request for service, so I called again. -He missed our first scheduled appointment (something about a truck problem?). -He appeared to be in a hurry, and no "Whole House Plumbing Inspection" was conducted (not a problem, based on reviews of such "inspections"). Overall: The above negatives are not a big deal to me. I'm sure that there is a reasonable explanation for them. The gentleman appears to be highly skilled and busy; and based on all the positive reviews on Angie's list I would certainly consider him for any A/C problems that might develop. Also, I am very pleased with the new outdoor faucet. The service date is approximate. I wasn't planning to submit a review, but Angie's List keeps asking for one.

On time, very efficient and professional. Did a thorough complete inspection and advised me of what to keep an eye on to anticipate future problems as the systems age. If I have any problem, I will definitely use Luis.
