Driving back from Canada I thought I smelled anti-freeze each time we stopped the car. My car is a 2003 Chevy Monte Carlo with 115,000 miles so I'm very concerned with maintenance knowing that with this age and mileage anything could potentially begin to need repair.
We've just recently moved to this area and do not have a repair shop that we've frequented before. So checking Angie's List gave me Smitty's as a recommendation. I called and spoke with Art and made an appointment for the following day. Art pressure tested the cooling system and called to tell me that there was a slight leak in the upper intake plenum. I was concerned that it might have been the heater core or something more serious. Art called me the following day to tell me the car was repaired and ready to be picked up. I'm very pleased with the service I received, with the repair and the cost.
I would definitely recommend Smitty's.

They're very good. They're prompt. If you have any problems they'll check it out again. They're reliable. I've been using them for about five years. They have good customer service.

I give them the highest of recommendations. I once took the car in with what I thought was a serious problem, left it there all day, and when I picked it up, there was no charge and no problem. They do not take advantage of their clientele.
