Just prior to New Year's Eve, my rear door lock refused to open when I returned home one night. I waited until after the new year and contacted Ted Hall Locksmiths. The call was returned promptly, an appointment was scheduled for a saturday to accomodate my schedule. They gave me a window of time for the service call ( 9AM-11AM) and then called to give me a 30 minute notice as to when they would arrive. They arrived promptly, the work was completed in an hour and he even attempted to assist me with a garage door opener problem. I would not hesitate to use them again.

The locksmith arrived on time and did exactly what was requested. He even had to "pick" one of the locks as we didn't have a key. He was very personable and professional. Their pricing, while not cheap, was fair and reflected the quality of their work. We will definitely use this company again.

The locksmith arrived on time and was very friendly. He looked over the work that I had requested and he provided me with 3 options on how to proceed. He did all the work in a timely manner and even repaired my door frame and adjusted the exterior door and the screen door to a perfect fit. All of the supplies that he needed were on his truck and the work was finished in about 3 hours. He swept the floor and even vacuumed up the remaining dust. I took his business card to put in my Rolodex. I will surely use him again and will gladly recommend him to others.

Locksmith was extremely knowledgeable and professional. After drilling for the new locks, he took care of the clean-up. We used Ted Hall about 15 years ago and were pleased then. Happy to be even more pleased this time.

I called first thing in the morning for an appointment and was told that they would be able to come sometime in the afternoon after three previously scheduled appointments. Conversation was pleasant and professional. As promised, they arrived mid-afternoon. Despite the challenge of the very old lock, the locksmith was undaunted. He ultimately had to take the door off the hinges to get it open and to make the lock accessible to repair. Despite its age and bad condition, he was able to take the lock apart and fix it. He then went above and beyond...I explained to him that I used the lock to keep the warped door closed and that a carpenter had told me that nothing short of a new door would enable us to keep it closed. Well...in no time flat the locksmith had solved the warped door problem and it now shuts without locking. I am ecstatic. He was also extremely conscientious about cleaning up. Ted Hall Locksmiths is a keeper!

I lost my only key to my motorcycle. Luckily the previous owner had written the key code down in the manual. I found Ted Hall Locksmiths on Angie's List and gave them a call since they had good reviews and were close to where I live. When I gave the man on the phone the key number he looked it up and said two things came back and that I should remove the helmet lock and bring it in with me. I said that I wasn't too handy and that maybe I should just get them both made. He then took the time to explain to me how to remove it. Then I headed to the store. I passed the store once. If you are headed there look for the old ambulance with the locksmith signage on it. If that ambulance isn't there it's probably easier to see the store. I was in and out in 20 minutes with the right keys. All the guys in the shop were pleasant and helpful. Not only that they were genuinely into helping me and figuring out what I needed. They clearly enjoy their trade and they seem to me to be very good at it.

Ted Hall Locksmiths, a family business came when scheduled both times we called. Todd is quick, efficient, courteous and neat. He also seems to be someone you can trust which is important when it comes to a locksmith. If we install an alarm, we will call Ted Hall Locksmiths.

Though Ted Hall is listed as a locksmith they also perform repairs on doors. My front door was literally falling off the hinges, and since my condo has only 2 points of egress, the other being my sliding glass door to my patio, it was critical this got repaired. Ted was prompt, easy going, and wanted to ensure that the door would stay in place. I was contacted about 20 minutes before his arrival to ensure that I was home. I made the appointment at the shop the day before. Very happy with the results.
