Dr. Detwiler graduated from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine in 1976. She completed a General Practice Residency program at the Lutheran Medical Center, Brooklyn, NY in 1977. Subsequently she spent several years as the Program Director of the General Practice Residency Program at Jamaica Hospital in Queens, NY before heading out to work at a Tawam Hospital in the United Arab Emirates.
After three years in the UAE she returned to the US and assumed a practice in Middletown, NJ where she practiced for 21 years. During that time she was on the teaching staff of Monmouth Medical Center and was an active member of the Monmouth-Ocean County Dental Society.
Dr. Detwiler considers dentistry to be a true art form and her goal is to help her patients achieve the oral health, as well as the smile, to last a lifetime. When not happily practicing chair-side she can be found pursuing her interests in skiing, tennis, travel and cooking.
Dr. Detwiler currently practices in our Moorestown, NJ office.
