He arrived at the time set, looked at our bathroom, made a few suggestions, asked a few questions and showed us some of the fixtures and tubs/showers/sinks in various catalogs. He took notes and said he would get back to us in a week or so. We never heard from him again.

I first called Desantis and his wife answered. She said she would call be back with an appointment time but if she didn't call me by the following day, I should call her back. I have given her both my work telephone number and my home number. She called me at work two days later and said she left a voice message on my home phone. As I stated above I made an appointment with her husband, Adam and he never kept the appointment, nor did he call to cancel.

It went really, really, well. I don't think I've ever been as happy with a contractor as with Desantis. Pricing was fair . . . not the highest, not the lowest. Contract was simple and straightforward, no hidden charges. Negotiations were easy and took about 10 minutes. There were some runons and additions, but I knew full well those would occur (previous work on this house was poorly done, and even I could see that) . . . there was a lot of stuff where we knew in advance that we *didn't* know what it would take until we opened it up. Adam never did anything that would cost extra money without discussing it with us first and making very sure we understood what he was proposing. Work started and finished on schedule. All commitments were met and exceeded. Adam and his crew were very meticulous in cleaning up each day . . . they didn't forget that it was still your house and you had to live it in when they were gone. Showroom was well laid out and had lots of examples to help us think through our choices. Adam's wife Denise (it's a family business) helped us with some decisions, and has a nice level of engagement . . . she stays out of it until you ask, but has good insight into what works and what doesn't work. Adam (the company owner) does 98% - 100% of the work himself, and is a meticulous craftsman. I have never been so happy with the quality of the work done. We had some professional painters in to paint after he was done and they were marveling at the "tightness" of the cabinetry . . . normally, they said, in a kitchen remodel they would have to caulk all the cabinets to the walls before they could paint . . . in this case, not needed. Finally, Adam is just a very pleasant person to be around. Given that your contractor is going to become "part of the family" for the 4 - 6 weeks it takes to do the job, it's really nice to be able to like the guy you're sharing your home with . . . Adam and Denise make it easy. Really, really love this contractor. Recommend them strongly.

The entire process could not have gone smoother or have been more pleasurable. The project took just under three weeks with demolition complete in one day. Adam arrived early each morning and worked diligently and professionally each day. Each afternoon we would arrive home to see how far he had progressed. Adam was exceptionally clean and organized. While this is our first major remodeling project, everything went smoothly and looks excellent. The quality of the worksmanship is excellent. Denise (the contractor's wife and office manager) was amazingly responsive and helpful throughout the project. We began by meeting with Adam in his show room and discussed our interests and budget concerns. Adam worked well with us to make decisions and prioriitze our needs and wants for our kitchen space. He was attentive and really listened to our demands. He offered helpful suggestions, but never pushed one product or reccomendation. Adam was clear on contract terms and was amenable to changes throughout the project. He would always confirm a price prior to commencing with any extra work so there were no suprises. Above all, I greatly appreciated that Adam was only working on our job. I knew that each day he was not worried about being somewhere else, but was dedicated to getting our project done. I could trust him with a key to our home and knew that the work was being done by a true professional. We would gladly use his services again and would reccomend him to our friends and family.

Adam and his team did a wonderful job. The workspace was kept clean and neat. They completed the job on-time and went out of the way to help us maintain a functioning life while the renovations took place. Of all of the Kitchen designers we interviewed he was the only one who listened to our needs before suggesting things to improve the layout. The job looks great and Adam was a pleasure to work with, I wouldn?t hesitate to use him again.

We chose Desantis after having 2 neighbors recommend them (they had a kitchen and basement done). We started at the showroom with Denise where we received our estimate and picked out the style/colors. Adam and Paul did all of the work themselves (with the exception of subcontracted electrical) and started the job on the scheduled date. The kitchen was gutted in day 1. They returned each day when they said they would until the job was completed. Start to finish took about 12 days. They made sure we were happy with the quality of work before finishing the last day. The house did not get messed up since they took care to not affect other rooms and removed all debris each day. Their quality of work is excellent and I would highly recommend them.

Excellent - could not have gone better. I have not had any contractor do such quality work with attention to detail. Project took 4 weeks and he never missed a day. Cleaned up throughly each night. Work was within the budget no extras unless discussed first which were enhancments not hidden costs. . Always provided suggestions when decisions had to be made. Quote included professional detail drawings, obtained all permits, removed debris. In summary, he did what he said he was going to do, professionaly and was a pleasant person to deal with. Frankly, I could not recommend this contractor more highly. Would use him again without hesitation.

The process was easier than we thought. The kitchen was gutted and the linoleum removed. New cabinets were installed, with lazy susans and automatic closing drawers and under cabinet lighting. Old lighting removed and replaced with recesses lightling which is great with new sockets, switches and dimmers (pleasant surprise and great lighting. Redesigned the layout of the kitchen for better flow, safety, moved stove to outside wall and switched from electric to gas range and installed a new vent. Installed granite counter tops, new fixtures and handles and completed the job with installed and grouting tumbled marble tile in a lovely diagonal pattern. Oversaw new appliances being delivered and installed (left our old fridge plugged in for our convenience until new one arrived - very nice!). Adam is a true craftsman and takes great pride in his work. He explains what is going to do and shows you the finished product and also points out safety features (gas shut off in kitchen, in basement, etc.) and by pointing out problems that existed that we were unaware of. We love our new kitchen and would recommend Adam DeSantis without reservation.

Visited Manville showroom and shown styles and options available. Had Adam come to our home an estimate. He drew up a new layout, recommended converting from electric to gas (we had the line already) and repositioning cabinets and applicances for more cabinet space, safety, and more counter room. Showed up as scheduled - removed old kitchen 1st day (left old fridge plugged in for our convenience until new appliances delivered). Set up a shop in our garage - we felt very comfortable and safe with this Contractor and gave him access to garage and kitchen (we did not need to be home when he worked - very trustworthy - came recommended from another family member who had a kitchen upgrade last year). Excellent craftmanship, works very clean, very professional, patient and courteous. He installed new cabinets, sink, recessed lights, spackeled, and oversaw delivery and installation of appliances and granite. Finished ahead of schedule and we LOVE our kitchen and would recommend Adam without hesitation.
