Irv and his team are fantastic - theyre complete pros, do an amazing job and are EXTREMELY fair and honest with regards to pricing. What started as repainting our house turned into what feels like 50 different odd jobs/projects -gas line work, appliance installation, bathroom tiling, electrical work, plumbing - you name it. they were able to help with every single one. There truly is nothing that they cannot do. You will not find a better contractor.

Accent's work is top of the line and his prices are more than fair. His crew is experienced and very pleasant . They have done two and a half baths, kitchen, siding repair and staining, interior painting, framing of a wood-burning insert in my fireplace, new windows and other miscellaneous repairs. When asked, Irving is very creative and helpful about best practices and options.

Estimated time for remodeling was 3 weeks. 4 Weeks was actual. In fact, it took 9 weeks but that was not the fault of the contractor as we had difficulty obtaining a working stove (long story). The work was excellent and they went out of their way to install our stove on a Sunday when it finally arrived.

After hiring Accent to do a complete renovation of my hall bathroom, I was so satisfied with the quality of the work that I hired them to do some electrical work in my kitchen. I had them close up two existing recessed lights, relocate the electrical boxes and install two pendant lights that my wife wanted. They patched the ceiling up and painted the entire ceiling which runs through the dinette into the family room. They did an amazing job. You can't even tell where the old fixtures were. Thank you Irving and your wonderful workers Antonio and Salvador. We look forward to working with you again on our many upcoming projects.

After interviewing seven different contractors, we knew Irving was the one for us. Not only was his price extremely fair it was a lot less than the other contractors but the quality was exceptional. His workers, Antonio and Salvador were extremely professional, knowledgeable, hard-working, trustworthy and reliable and always aimed to please. Working with Accent was the best experience we have ever had dealing with a contractor and will be using them again when we renovate our master bathroom.

The owner, Irving, makes you "think" he is going to do the work, but drops off this "worker" ?? and leaves for the entire day (assume to do estimates)... Cannot be reached at all. Shows up at the end of the day to give you a real rush....

"I never tell people that I am personally doing the work , 26 years in business 11 employees . 4 painters , 5 home repair mechanics , 2 helpers . and I as the boss able to do everything that checks on the men all day long and make sure all needed supplies are there and my men have the support they need . This person is not a Home Advisor client , was referred from home depot . Not 1 comment that her bathroom was painted in one day .! She was mad that we installed a new light fixture she supplied outside and supplied a used light bulb that blew in 2 days and wanted immediate service to change that light bulb and next day was not good , she wanted right now. has nothing to do with Home Advisor Just mean unhappy person . When we finished she was happy . This was 4 months later not even sure it is me ."

This company was supposed to do a main and master bathroom in our home. Owner Irving Sovern promises you the world and really does not come through with a quality job. The company's rates are very reasonable for a reason. The owner admitted to me in a very unprofessional text that I should hire someone who was "not in a rush" and who was "the most expensive" and to make sure to tell them that I was "a pain??? after he found out I was looking for someone else for my other bathroom. I learned my lesson you pay for what you get. Tile installers of this contractor also made us change some of our tile design stating that it could not be done while the tile store told us it could be done. Some examples of mistakes made: Bathtub spout not aligned with drain (about 1/2" off, they should have taken proper measurements), mosaic tile border was indented in tub surround (this was fixed, however, why not do it right the first time?), tile was put in behind and around the vanity before the countertop was installed (this caused issues with granite installation). The owner does not supervise or visit the job at all until it is done, that gives me the impression he takes no pride in his company's work.

"I am glad all customers are not like John . Lies to start , I was there almost every day, he does fail to tell you things like from the day we started we were there till finished . That he was very demanding. that we did wall water proofing , floor water proofing . The tiles wall tiles were 1/4" deeper than mosaic boarder yes some tiles sunk in a bit and I told him no problem we will fix ! which he states we did . Tub spout was sligjhtly off . the Graniite guy made an issue with tiles around sink . From day one John started complaining about contractors. He is mad because I refused to do more work for him . My prices were better than any he got all he did was complain. by the way he paid in full no problem . Not a nice person . I can fix anything but unhappy ! we did a good job for him hes just a complainer. sorry."

"The customer hired us to upgrade his master bath shower. We started on a Monday morning and 5 days later we were finished. The customer then chose to go with a custom shower door . The door could not be ordered until the tiling was complete. That added more time to the job (2 weeks) and an issue caused by the glass vendor added (3 more weeks) to the process. Changes can cause delays, especially when ordering custom materials comes into play. Our process took five days to complete but this change order added to the delay."

My overall rating for Accent Contracting for the paint job that they did for me is 4.8. Irving was very professional and responsive. I was very pleased with the paint job. My only recommendation to the painting crew is that they should remove shutters from the house before painting them.
