The attitude of the employee, who seemed like he may have been the owner, was very unfriendly. When I walked in he was talking to a customer in a very terse manner. He spent less than 10 seconds evaluating my job telling me it would cost $100 to $200. That is quite a spread. What is the point of getting an estimate if the spread is going to double the low end amount? In the end, the job is being done at another shop for $80.

My driver side window got stuck halfway down as I pulled into work.  In a panic (it was supposed to rain that night!), I called Lawrence Collision.  I spoke with Renee and she asked if she could call me back after speaking to Craig, the owner, to get more information.  Ten minutes later, she called back and asked if I could bring my car in so Craig could look at it.  The shop was busy when I got there, moving cars around to accommodate new vehicles being towed in.  Despite this, Craig assessed my car just a few minutes after I got there.  He turned the car on, tried the window, and told me it was the regulator (free diagnosis, as opposed to the $125 fee the dealer charges!).  He called his supplier, quoted me $200 to get the job done, and ordered the part.
     Renee said they could keep my car in their garage overnight since I park in a lot and it was expected to rain.  She called the local car rental and arranged for them to pick me up so I could rent a car.  She even advocated for them to give me the insurance price, even though I was paying out of pocket.  Within half an hour, I was in my rental car and on my way!  
      My car was ready the next day by noon, less than twenty-four hours after I first brought it in- for the quoted price.  I highly recommend Lawrence Collision based on my experience!

Very good experience from estimate to repair and pickup. Totally professional from start to finish, extremely understanding and friendly. Best price and perfect repair job. Much, much cheaper than the dealership.

CRAIG UNDERSTOOD THAT I WAS PAYING FOR THIS REPAIR MYSELF AND JUST WANTED MY CAR TO LOOK NICE.
HE GOT MY VEHICLE FINISHED IN TWO DAYS. I PAID WHEN I PICKED UP THE VEHICLE. THERE WAS NO HASSLE, NOT A TON OF PAPERWORK, NOBODY TRYING TO SELL ME ANY STUFF I DIDN'T WANT. HE JUST DID THE JOB I ASKED FOR, NO QUESTIONS ASKED.
AND HE GAVE ME A T-SHIRT WHEN I PICKED IT UP. ITS A NICE SHIRT TOO, ONE THAT I WOULD ACTUALLY WEAR.
AND IT WAS EASY TO GET TO OFF OF ROUTE 1.
I LIVE IN PHILADELPHIA, AND I WAS REFERRED TO LAWRENCE COLLISION, SO I DECIDED FOR THE MONEY I SAVED, IT WAS WORTH THE DRIVE. AND FOR THE WAY MY BUMPERS LOOK NOW, IT DEFINITELY WAS.

Sometimes when you walk into an auto body shop it can be a little unnerving, especially being a woman. It was nice to walk into the office at Lawrence Collision, be greeted right away and get walked through the process. Craig Martin (the owner) dealt with the tow truck driver, paid out all the charges, and instructed me on how to deal with the initial stages of the insurance company process.
At first my insurance co. was pushing me to use a different shop. After I talked to Craig, I understood that I could take my car where ever I chose to, to do the repair. I felt confident leaving my car with Lawrence Collision, being that he offers a Lifetime Warranty and had relationships with some reputable dealerships and companies in the area, but also because a friend of mine recommended his services.
I am glad that I went with Lawrence Collision for the repairs, first and foremost because my car looks brand new. He also fixed some additional scratches for no charge! Also I am glad I supported a local business owner. I like to try to keep the money within our community, and in local business owner's pockets.
