family owned and operated for over 70 years. we are reasonbly priced and do not have raised prices on weekends or summertime (when people need us the most!). we require new customers to visit us for a meet and greet before using our services to be sure we are all comfortable (including your pet!).

We have been using Roy and his team at Tarheel for almost a year now for walking services/home visit for our 2 dogs. With one elderly dog and a deaf pup, who occasionally likes to counter surf, the team at Tarheel has taken great care of our pups and the occasional clean-up. They are a friendly, caring, professional staff and can be flexible with changing schedules. We would not trust anyone else with our dogs or home. Thank you Tarheel Team!

I never dreamed my dog would allow anyone to groom his fur (nevermind trim his nails or bathe him), but by just the way the groomer talked to him, he walked right off with her, and allowed himself to be transformed into a brand new dog! We were also surprised at how reasonable the fee was..... TOTALLY WORTH IT!!!

Have been using Crawford since the 1960’s. Family owned, you can’t find better vets to care for your pets. Alan & Gary Baum along with Gary’s son, Josh, have been wonderful through the years & i wouldn't think of going elsewhere. They are compassionate, caring, professional, and fairly priced. You won't regret taking your pet there whether for basic care, surgery, or emergency needs. No appointment necessary during open hours, but they will accommodate special needs.

People for Animals is a Spay/Neuter Clinic that also provides standard vaccination services. Spay/Neuter procedures take place Monday- Friday. Vaccines are given 4 days a week (Tues,Wed,Sat,Sun) please call for times. PFA paticipates in state funding programs as well as regularly obtains grants that assist in reducing the cost of Spay/Neuter services.

I go there because they are significantly cheaper than a vet. They are very good with the dogs. You do have to wait there but the savings is worth it. I would recommend them.

DOG GONE SMARTI can’t say enough about Dog Gone Smart! They have such an amazing board and train program! Bebz , who is phenomenal, trained our 12 week puppy, Winnie for two weeks straight! When our pup came home she understood commands and proper playing manners with our daughter. No more nipping and swinging from the drapes! She now returns for daycare and swim lessons when I have to work! When she arrives she is so happy to be at her home away from home! The entire staff is so friendly and incredibly supportive! I was so worried leaving my baby for 2 weeks, but Jaimee, Deb, Britta , Jordan and Sam couldn’t have been more caring and helpful! KEN'S GROOMING POSTI'm responding to the vicious fake review . First of all if it was real then why wasn't I given a vet bill . I know who this person is and it was in response of them being told that there dogs which I had gotten them were in extremely neglected and deplorable condition and that they need proper care immediately . They got angry and tried to lash out at me . I have pictures of the dogs as proof and so does the Animal control . My customers know me and what wonderful care that I give there dogs .- Ken G.

He is friendly, professional and very, very caring with our pets. He treats them as he would his own. He also provides boarding and that has proven to be a good experience as well. TINY TAILSMy dog suffers from separation anxiety, and I always feel terrible leaving her anywhere. The staff at Tiny Tails is always so friendly and patient with my dog, and it really gives me peace of mind leaving her with such wonderful people. You can tell they really care about the animals. Grooming is around $60, and an additional $30 if you want them to be cageless. I called to set up an appointment and was able to get in the next day. Typical wait time is about a week, but you can always ask to be notified for any cancellations. They do mostly small dogs, mine is 35lbs now and she's on the larger side, but I've never seen an ugly dog come out of there. They're always so cute and fluffy! It's helpful to know what you want for your dogs coat, ears, face, and tail, as they'll ask you when you drop your pup off. Overall a phenomenal business, and I'll never go to a different groomer.- Rebecca P.

GLENN'S WORLD CLASS GROOMINGGlenn is the only groomer who is able to trim our extremely difficult cat, a long-hair Himalayan. She regularly gets bad mats, and is quite feisty, not letting even her owners touch them. Glenn is super friendly, careful, and experienced, treating pets like his own. CANINE CLIP N CRUISELiz comes to your home with her mobile vehicle. She does an excellent job with both our dogs. She takes her time and does a professional job. Both always look wonderful. She truly cares about our dogs, she treats them so good and they enjoy being with her. She does an outstanding job and I would recommend her. If you are looking for a groomer -she is the one.
