Ex-Fire Chief Bill Blackinton, owner of Chief Home Inspection brings with him over 30 years in the fire service, a BS in Industrial Technology with a concentration in Construction Management from Montclair State College, 25+ years in the trades, and over 14 years as a business owner. You can be certain that no stone will be left unturned in the inspection of your home. A detailed, clear and concise report of the condition of your home will be provided to you in a timely and professional manner. Bill was a great guy, got to the property early, and was very good and professional. We hired him for insect and Radon testing. He explained what we has doing, what he found, what to expect in his reports. Great experience overall and I highly recommend.

Bill was early, professional, and communicated his findings with me in every step of the inspection. He gave his recommendations and directed me on next steps. He told me the good the bad and the ugly, and what was an easy fix and what needed a professional. Report was provided within 48 hours of inspection, stated everything we covered, and detailed with pictures. Highly recommend Bill, and will forward to friends and family.

Bill was fantastic. We communicated early Monday morning for a home inspection and it was not only done same day but the report was emailed to me within five hours the same day. Great communication and a great value for the money and a very nice man. I am glad I hired someone with so many years as a Fire Chief that knows if my next house is safe or not and he did uncover some potential serious problems. Five stars for the Chief thanks again Bill.
