JUBILEE PRESCHOOL AT COVENANT

I first heard raves about this preschool from my friend Kris whose son, Jonas, attended.  I called and asked for an appointment.  The director, Donna, was very friendly toward my daughter and me.  She showed us around, didn't rush us, answered all our questions, and gave us probably a good 2 hours of her time.  She showed us the prize box kids get to pick from on their birthdays (and let my daughter choose a prize--a bracelet she still loves--that morning), showed us the indoor and outdoor playground areas, explained how their Christmas program is at night so both parents can attend, explained their "spring chick hatching program" where the children get to experience chicks hatch from eggs and each child gets to hold a chick.  I was extremely impressed and understood clearly why my friend raves about it.  It is also a Christian preschool and definitely imparts these values, as well.  And the teachers are kind and loving and take a true personal interest in the children's lives. The director even gave me her personal cell phone number, should I have any additional questions.  Ultimately, the choice was between this preschool and another for us.  The prices were very comparable, Jubilee being slightly less, actually.  In all honesty, both were clearly excellent.  Because I had to choose from a schedule that would work best for our family, we did go with the other school simply because it offered afternoon classes and Jubilee did not.  Although we are happy with the school we chose, I believe we would have been just as happy with Jubilee.  I felt very sorry we couldn't combine the best options of both!
